1. Then Job spoke again:

2. നിങ്ങള് എത്രത്തോളം എന്റെ മനസ്സു വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കയും മൊഴികളാല് എന്നെ തകര്ക്കുംകയും ചെയ്യും?

2. 'How long will you torture me? How long will you try to crush me with your words?

3. ഇപ്പോള് പത്തു പ്രാവശ്യം നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു കാഠിന്യം കാണിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലജ്ജയില്ല.

3. You have already insulted me ten times. You should be ashamed of treating me so badly.

4. ഞാന് തെറ്റിപ്പോയതു വാസ്തവം എന്നു വരികില് എന്റെ തെറ്റു എനിക്കു തന്നേ അറിയാം.

4. Even if I have sinned, that is my concern, not yours.

5. നിങ്ങള് സാക്ഷാല് എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി വലിപ്പം ഭാവിച്ചു എന്റെ അപമാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്നെ ആക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില്

5. You think you're better than I am, using my humiliation as evidence of my sin.

6. ദൈവം എന്നെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു തന്റെ വലയില് എന്നെ കുടുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നറിവിന് .

6. But it is God who has wronged me, capturing me in his net.

7. അയ്യോ, ബലാല്ക്കാരം എന്നു ഞാന് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; കേള്പ്പോരില്ല; രക്ഷെക്കായി ഞാന് മുറയിടുന്നു; ന്യായം കിട്ടുന്നതുമില്ല.

7. 'I cry out, 'Help!' but no one answers me. I protest, but there is no justice.

8. എനിക്കു കടന്നുകൂടാതവണ്ണം അവന് എന്റെ വഴി കെട്ടിയടെച്ചു, എന്റെ പാതകള് ഇരുട്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. God has blocked my way so I cannot move. He has plunged my path into darkness.

9. He has stripped me of my honor and removed the crown from my head.

10. He has demolished me on every side, and I am finished. He has uprooted my hope like a fallen tree.

11. അവന് തന്റെ കോപം എന്റെമേല് ജ്വലിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നെ തനിക്കു ശത്രുവായി എണ്ണുന്നു.

11. His fury burns against me; he counts me as an enemy.

12. അവന്റെ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങള് ഒന്നിച്ചുവരുന്നു; അവര് എന്റെ നേരെ തങ്ങളുടെ വഴി നിരത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ കൂടാരത്തില് ചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങുന്നു.

12. His troops advance. They build up roads to attack me. They camp all around my tent.

13. അവര് എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ എന്നോടു അകറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു; എന്റെ പരിചയക്കാര് എനിക്കു അന്യരായിത്തീര്ന്നു.

13. 'My relatives stay far away, and my friends have turned against me.

14. എന്റെ ബന്ധുജനം ഒഴിഞ്ഞുമാറി; എന്റെ ഉറ്റ സ്നേഹിതന്മാര് എന്നെ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

14. My family is gone, and my close friends have forgotten me.

15. എന്റെ വീട്ടില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരും എന്റെ ദാസികളും എന്നെ അന്യനായെണ്ണുന്നു; ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും പരദേശിയായ്തോന്നുന്നു.

15. My servants and maids consider me a stranger. I am like a foreigner to them.

16. ഞാന് എന്റെ ദാസനെ വിളിച്ചു; അവന് വിളി കേള്ക്കുന്നില്ല. എന്റെ വായ്കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവനോടു യാചിക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു.

16. When I call my servant, he doesn't come; I have to plead with him!

17. എന്റെ ശ്വാസം എന്റെ ഭാര്യകൂ അസഹ്യവും എന്റെ യാചന എന്റെ ഉടപ്പിറന്നവര്ക്കും അറെപ്പും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

17. My breath is repulsive to my wife. I am rejected by my own family.

18. പിള്ളരും എന്നെ നിരസിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് എഴുന്നേറ്റാല് അവര് എന്നെ കളിയാക്കുന്നു.

18. Even young children despise me. When I stand to speak, they turn their backs on me.

19. എന്റെ പ്രാണസ്നേഹിതന്മാര് ഒക്കെയും എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കു പ്രിയരായവര് വിരോധികളായിത്തീര്ന്നു.

19. My close friends detest me. Those I loved have turned against me.

20. എന്റെ അസ്ഥി ത്വക്കിനോടും മാംസത്തോടും പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; പല്ലിന്റെ മോണയോടെ ഞാന് ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

20. I have been reduced to skin and bones and have escaped death by the skin of my teeth.

21. സ്നേഹിതന്മാരേ, എന്നോടു കൃപ തോന്നേണമേ, കൃപ തോന്നേണമേ; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൈ എന്നെ തൊട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

21. 'Have mercy on me, my friends, have mercy, for the hand of God has struck me.

22. ദൈവം എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളും എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നതെന്തു? എന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നു തൃപ്തിവരാത്തതു എന്തു?

22. Must you also persecute me, like God does? Haven't you chewed me up enough?

23. അയ്യോ എന്റെ വാക്കുകള് ഒന്നു എഴുതിയെങ്കില്, ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തില് കുറിച്ചുവെച്ചെങ്കില് കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

23. 'Oh, that my words could be recorded. Oh, that they could be inscribed on a monument,

24. അവയെ ഇരിമ്പാണിയും ഈയവുംകൊണ്ടു പാറയില് സദാകാലത്തേക്കു കൊത്തിവെച്ചെങ്കില് കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

24. carved with an iron chisel and filled with lead, engraved forever in the rock.

25. എന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കുന്നവന് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവന് ഒടുവില് പൊടിമേല് നിലക്കുമെന്നും ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

25. 'But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last.

26. എന്റെ ത്വക് ഇങ്ങനെ നശിച്ചശേഷം ഞാന് ദേഹരഹിതനായി ദൈവത്തെ കാണും.

26. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God!

27. ഞാന് തന്നേ അവനെ കാണും; അന്യനല്ല, എന്റെ സ്വന്തകണ്ണു അവനെ കാണും; എന്റെ അന്തരംഗം എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

27. I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!

28. നാം എങ്ങനെ അവനെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുമെന്നും കാര്യത്തിന്റെ മൂലം എന്നില് കാണുന്നു എന്നും നിങ്ങള് പറയുന്നുവെങ്കില്

28. 'How dare you go on persecuting me, saying, 'It's his own fault'?

29. വാളിനെ പേടിപ്പിന് ; ക്രോധം വാളിന്റെ ശിക്ഷെക്കു ഹേതു; ഒരു ന്യായവിധി ഉണ്ടെന്നറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്വിന് .

29. You should fear punishment yourselves, for your attitude deserves punishment. Then you will know that there is indeed a judgment.'
