2. For they say cruel and deceptive things to me; they lie to me.

3. They surround me and say hateful things; they attack me for no reason.

4. അവര് ദ്വേഷവാക്കുകള്കൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നോടു പൊരുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. They repay my love with accusations, but I continue to pray.

5. They repay me evil for good, and hate for love.

6. നന്മെക്കു പകരം തിന്മയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്നു പകരം ദ്വേഷവും അവര് എന്നോടു കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Appoint an evil man to testify against him! May an accuser stand at his right side!

7. നീ അവന്റെമേല് ഒരു ദുഷ്ടനെ നിയമിക്കേണമേ; എതിരാളി അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നില്ക്കട്ടെ.

7. When he is judged, he will be found guilty! Then his prayer will be regarded as sinful.

8. May his days be few! May another take his job!

9. അവന്റെ നാളുകള് ചുരുങ്ങിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ സ്ഥാനം മറ്റൊരുത്തന് ഏല്ക്കട്ടെ.

9. May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow!

10. അവന്റെ മക്കള് അനാഥരും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ വിധവയും ആയി തീരട്ടെ.

10. May his children roam around begging, asking for handouts as they leave their ruined home!

11. അവന്റെ മക്കള് അലഞ്ഞു തെണ്ടിനടക്കട്ടെ. തങ്ങളുടെ ശൂന്യഭവനങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു ഇരന്നു നടക്കട്ടെ;

11. May the creditor seize all he owns! May strangers loot his property!

12. കടക്കാരന് അവന്നുള്ളതൊക്കെയും കൊണ്ടു പോകട്ടെ; അന്യജാതിക്കാര് അവന്റെ പ്രയത്നഫലം കൊള്ളയിടട്ടെ.

12. May no one show him kindness! May no one have compassion on his fatherless children!

13. അവന്നു ദയ കാണിപ്പാന് ആരും ഉണ്ടാകരുതേ; അവന്റെ അനാഥരോടു ആര്ക്കും കൃപ തോന്നരുതേ.

13. May his descendants be cut off! May the memory of them be wiped out by the time the next generation arrives!

14. അവന്റെ സന്തതി മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ; അടുത്ത തലമുറയില് തന്നേ അവരുടെ പേര് മാഞ്ഞു പോകട്ടെ;

14. May his ancestors' sins be remembered by the LORD! May his mother's sin not be forgotten!

15. അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യം യഹോവ ഔര്ക്കുംമാറാകട്ടെ; അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ പാപം മാഞ്ഞുപോകയുമരുതേ.

15. May the LORD be constantly aware of them, and cut off the memory of his children from the earth!

16. അവ എല്ലായ്പോഴും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവരുടെ ഔര്മ്മ അവന് ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

16. For he never bothered to show kindness; he harassed the oppressed and needy, and killed the disheartened.

17. അവന് ദയ കാണിപ്പാന് മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും മനംതകര്ന്നവനെയും മരണപര്യന്തം ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു.

17. He loved to curse others, so those curses have come upon him. He had no desire to bless anyone, so he has experienced no blessings.

18. ശാപം അവന്നു പ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവന്നു ഭവിച്ചു; അനുഗ്രഹം അവന്നു അപ്രിയമായിരുന്നു; അതു അവനെ വിട്ടകന്നു പോയി.

18. He made cursing a way of life, so curses poured into his stomach like water and seeped into his bones like oil.

19. അവന് വസ്ത്രംപോലെ ശാപം ധരിച്ചു; അതു വെള്ളംപോലെ അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിലും എണ്ണപോലെ അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിലും ചെന്നു.

19. May a curse attach itself to him, like a garment one puts on, or a belt one wears continually!

20. അതു അവന്നു പുതെക്കുന്ന വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും നിത്യം അരെക്കു കെട്ടുന്ന കച്ചപോലെയും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.

20. May the LORD repay my accusers in this way, those who say evil things about me!

21. ഇതു എന്റെ എതിരാളികള്ക്കും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷം പറയുന്നവര്ക്കും യഹോവ കൊടുക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം ആകുന്നു.

21. O sovereign LORD, intervene on my behalf for the sake of your reputation! Because your loyal love is good, deliver me!

22. നീയോ കര്ത്താവായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നടുത്തവണ്ണം എന്നോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയ നല്ലതാകകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

22. For I am oppressed and needy, and my heart beats violently within me.

23. ഞാന് അരിഷ്ടനും ദരിദ്രനും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് മുറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

23. I am fading away like a shadow at the end of the day; I am shaken off like a locust.

24. ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴല്പോലെ ഞാന് കടന്നുപോകുന്നു; ഒരു വെട്ടുക്കിളിയെപ്പോലെ എന്നെ ചാടിക്കുന്നു.

24. I am so starved my knees shake; I have turned into skin and bones.

25. എന്റെ മുഴങ്കാലുകള് ഉപവാസംകൊണ്ടു വിറെക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ദേഹം പുഷ്ടിവിട്ടു ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. I am disdained by them. When they see me, they shake their heads.

26. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ഒരു നിന്ദയായ്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കാണുമ്പോള് അവര് തല കുലുക്കുന്നു.

26. Help me, O LORD my God! Because you are faithful to me, deliver me!

27. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സഹായിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

27. Then they will realize this is your work, and that you, LORD, have accomplished it.

28. യഹോവേ, ഇതു നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നും നീ ഇതു ചെയ്തു എന്നും അവര് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

28. They curse, but you will bless. When they attack, they will be humiliated, but your servant will rejoice.

29. അവര് ശപിക്കട്ടെ; നീയോ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവര് എതിര്ക്കുംമ്പോള് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; അടിയനോ സന്തോഷിക്കും;

29. My accusers will be covered with shame, and draped in humiliation as if it were a robe.

30. എന്റെ എതിരാളികള് നിന്ദ ധരിക്കും; പുതെപ്പു പുതെക്കുംപോലെ അവര് ലജ്ജ പുതെക്കും.

30. I will thank the LORD profusely, in the middle of a crowd I will praise him,

31. ഞാന് എന്റെ വായ്കൊണ്ടു യഹോവയെ അത്യന്തം സ്തുതിക്കും; അതേ, ഞാന് പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.

31. because he stands at the right hand of the needy, to deliver him from those who threaten his life.
