1. ബാബേല് നദികളുടെ തീരത്തു ഞങ്ങള് ഇരുന്നു, സീയോനെ ഔര്ത്തപ്പോള് ഞങ്ങള് കരഞ്ഞു.

6. നിന്നെ ഞാന് ഔര്ക്കാതെ പോയാല്, യെരൂശലേമിനെ എന്റെ മുഖ്യസന്തോഷത്തെക്കാള് വിലമതിക്കാതെ പോയാല്, എന്റെ നാവു അണ്ണാക്കിനോടു പറ്റിപ്പോകട്ടെ.

6. If I fail to remember you, may I never sing again. I will always remember Jerusalem as my greatest joy!

7. Lord, be sure to punish the Edomites for what they did when Jerusalem was captured. They shouted, 'Destroy its buildings! Pull them down to the ground!'

8. നാശം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ബാബേല്പുത്രിയേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിന്നോടു ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് . നിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ പിടിച്ചു പാറമേല് അടിച്ചുകളയുന്നവന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .
