1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

1. A praise of David. I will magnify thee, O God my king, I will praise thy name forever and ever.

2. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ രാജാവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ പുകഴ്ത്തും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നെന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തും.

2. Every day will I give thanks unto thee, and praise thy name forever and ever.

3. നാള്തോറും ഞാന് നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നെന്നേക്കും സ്തുതിക്കും.

3. Great is the LORD, and marvelous worthy to be praised, there is no end to his greatness.

4. യഹോവ വലിയവനും അത്യന്തം സ്തുത്യനും ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ മഹിമ അഗോചരമത്രേ.

4. One generation shall praise thy works unto another, and declare thy power.

5. തലമുറതലമുറയോടു നിന്റെ ക്രിയകളെ പുകഴ്ത്തി നിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.

5. As for me I will be talking of thy worship, thy glory, thy praise, and wonderous works.

6. നിന്റെ പ്രതാപത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സുള്ള മഹത്വത്തെയും നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതകാര്യങ്ങളെയും ഞാന് ധ്യാനിക്കും.

6. So that men shall speak of the might of thy marvelous acts, and tell of thy greatness.

7. മനുഷ്യര് നിന്റെ ഭയങ്കരപ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ബലം പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ മഹിമയെ വര്ണ്ണിക്കും.

7. The memorial of thy abundant kindness shall be shewed, and men shall sing of thy righteousness.

8. അവര് നിന്റെ വലിയ നന്മയുടെ ഔര്മ്മയെ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കും; നിന്റെ നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും.

8. The LORD is gracious and merciful, long suffering and of great goodness.

9. യഹോവ കൃപയും കരുണയും ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും ഉള്ളവന് .

9. The LORD is loving unto every man, and his mercy is over all his works.

10. യഹോവ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും നല്ലവന് ; തന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളോടും അവന്നു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നു.

10. All thy works praise thee, O LORD, and thy saints give thanks unto thee.

11. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളും നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര് നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തും.

11. They shew the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power.

12. മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരോടു അവന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളും അവന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന് തേജസ്സുള്ള മഹത്വവും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

12. That thy power, thy glory and mightiness of thy kingdom might be known unto men.

13. അവര് നിന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കി നിന്റെ ശക്തിയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കും.

13. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth thorowout all ages.

14. നിന്റെ രാജത്വം നിത്യരാജത്വം ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ആധിപത്യം തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

14. The LORD upholdeth all such as should fall, and lifteth up all those that be down.

15. വീഴുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും യഹോവ താങ്ങുന്നു; കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് നിവിര്ത്തുന്നു.

15. The eyes of all wait upon thee, and thou givest them their meat in due season.

16. എല്ലാവരുടെയും കണ്ണു നിന്നെ നോക്കി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ തത്സമയത്തു അവര്ക്കും ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

16. Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all things living with plenteousness.

17. നീ തൃക്കൈ തുറന്നു ജീവനുള്ളതിന്നൊക്കെയും പ്രസാദംകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുന്നു.

17. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

18. യഹോവ തന്റെ സകലവഴികളിലും നീതിമാനും തന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളിലും ദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.

18. The LORD is nigh unto (all) them that call upon him, yea all such as call upon him faithfully.

19. യഹോവ, തന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും, സത്യമായി തന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും സമീപസ്ഥനാകുന്നു.

19. He fulfilleth the desire of them that fear him, he heareth their cry, and helpeth them.

20. തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ ആഗ്രഹം അവന് സാധിപ്പിക്കും; അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേട്ടു അവരെ രക്ഷിക്കും.

20. The LORD preserveth all them that love him, but scattereth abroad all the ungodly.

21. യഹോവ തന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന ഏവരേയും പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് സകലദുഷ്ടന്മാരെയും അവന് നശിപ്പിക്കും;

21. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh give thanks unto his holy name for ever and ever. Praise the everlasting. (Halleluya.)
