1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

1. Praise by David. I exalt Thee, my God, O king, And bless Thy name to the age and for ever.

2. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ രാജാവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ പുകഴ്ത്തും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നെന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തും.

2. Every day do I bless Thee, And praise Thy name to the age and for ever.

3. നാള്തോറും ഞാന് നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്നെന്നേക്കും സ്തുതിക്കും.

3. Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, And of His greatness there is no searching.

4. യഹോവ വലിയവനും അത്യന്തം സ്തുത്യനും ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ മഹിമ അഗോചരമത്രേ.

4. Generation to generation praiseth Thy works, And Thy mighty acts they declare.

5. തലമുറതലമുറയോടു നിന്റെ ക്രിയകളെ പുകഴ്ത്തി നിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.

5. The honour -- the glory of Thy majesty, And the matters of Thy wonders I declare.

6. നിന്റെ പ്രതാപത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സുള്ള മഹത്വത്തെയും നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതകാര്യങ്ങളെയും ഞാന് ധ്യാനിക്കും.

6. And the strength of Thy fearful acts they tell, And Thy greatness I recount.

7. മനുഷ്യര് നിന്റെ ഭയങ്കരപ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ബലം പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ മഹിമയെ വര്ണ്ണിക്കും.

7. The memorial of the abundance of Thy goodness they send forth. And Thy righteousness they sing.

8. അവര് നിന്റെ വലിയ നന്മയുടെ ഔര്മ്മയെ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കും; നിന്റെ നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും.

8. Gracious and merciful [is] Jehovah, Slow to anger, and great in kindness.

9. യഹോവ കൃപയും കരുണയും ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും ഉള്ളവന് .

9. Good [is] Jehovah to all, And His mercies [are] over all His works.

10. യഹോവ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും നല്ലവന് ; തന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളോടും അവന്നു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നു.

10. Confess Thee O Jehovah, do all Thy works, And Thy saints do bless Thee.

11. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളും നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര് നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തും.

11. The honour of Thy kingdom they tell, And [of] Thy might they speak,

12. മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരോടു അവന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളും അവന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന് തേജസ്സുള്ള മഹത്വവും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

12. To make known to sons of men His mighty acts, The honour of the majesty of His kingdom.

13. അവര് നിന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കി നിന്റെ ശക്തിയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കും.

13. Thy kingdom [is] a kingdom of all ages, And Thy dominion [is] in all generations.

14. നിന്റെ രാജത്വം നിത്യരാജത്വം ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ആധിപത്യം തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

14. Jehovah is supporting all who are falling, And raising up all who are bowed down.

15. വീഴുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും യഹോവ താങ്ങുന്നു; കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് നിവിര്ത്തുന്നു.

15. The eyes of all unto Thee do look, And Thou art giving to them their food in its season,

16. എല്ലാവരുടെയും കണ്ണു നിന്നെ നോക്കി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ തത്സമയത്തു അവര്ക്കും ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

16. Opening Thy hand, and satisfying The desire of every living thing.

17. നീ തൃക്കൈ തുറന്നു ജീവനുള്ളതിന്നൊക്കെയും പ്രസാദംകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുന്നു.

17. Righteous [is] Jehovah in all His ways, And kind in all His works.

18. യഹോവ തന്റെ സകലവഴികളിലും നീതിമാനും തന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളിലും ദയാലുവും ആകുന്നു.

18. Near [is] Jehovah to all those calling Him, To all who call Him in truth.

19. യഹോവ, തന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും, സത്യമായി തന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും സമീപസ്ഥനാകുന്നു.

19. The desire of those fearing Him He doth, And their cry He heareth, and saveth them.

20. തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ ആഗ്രഹം അവന് സാധിപ്പിക്കും; അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേട്ടു അവരെ രക്ഷിക്കും.

20. Jehovah preserveth all those loving Him, And all the wicked He destroyeth.

21. യഹോവ തന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന ഏവരേയും പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് സകലദുഷ്ടന്മാരെയും അവന് നശിപ്പിക്കും;

21. The praise of Jehovah my mouth speaketh, And all flesh doth bless His holy name, To the age and for ever!
