1. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ വാക്കുകള്ക്കു ചെവി തരേണമേ; എന്റെ ധ്യാനത്തെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ;

1. For the leader; with wind instruments. A psalm of David.

2. എന്റെ രാജാവും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമായുള്ളോവേ, എന്റെ സങ്കടയാചന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്നോടല്ലോ ഞാന് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നതു.

2. Hear my words, O LORD; listen to my sighing.

3. യഹോവേ, രാവിലെ എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; രാവിലെ ഞാന് നിനക്കായി ഒരുക്കി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. Hear my cry for help, my king, my God! To you I pray, O LORD;

4. നീ ദുഷ്ടതയില് പ്രസാദിക്കുന്ന ദൈവമല്ല; ദുഷ്ടന് നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പാര്ക്കയില്ല.

4. at dawn you will hear my cry; at dawn I will plead before you and wait.

5. അഹങ്കാരികള് നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നില്ക്കയില്ല; നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരെയൊക്കെയും നീ പകെക്കുന്നു.

5. You are not a god who delights in evil; no wicked person finds refuge with you;

6. ഭോഷ്ക്കുപറയുന്നവരെ നീ നശിപ്പിക്കും; രക്തപാതകവും ചതിവുമുള്ളവന് യഹോവെക്കു അറെപ്പാകുന്നു;

6. the arrogant cannot stand before you. You hate all who do evil;

7. ഞാനോ, നിന്റെ കൃപയുടെ ബഹുത്വത്താല് നിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു ചെന്നു നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു നേരെ നിങ്കലുള്ള ഭക്തിയോടെ ആരാധിക്കും.

7. you destroy all who speak falsely. Murderers and deceivers the LORD abhors.

8. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്നിമിത്തം നിന്റെ നീതിയാല് എന്നെ നടത്തേണമേ; എന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്റെ വഴിയെ നിരപ്പാക്കേണമേ.

8. But I can enter your house because of your great love. I can worship in your holy temple because of my reverence for you, LORD.

9. അവരുടെ വായില് ഒട്ടും നേരില്ല; അവരുടെ അന്തരംഗം നാശകൂപം തന്നേ; അവരുടെ തൊണ്ട തുറന്ന ശവക്കുഴിയാകുന്നു; നാവുകൊണ്ടു അവര് മധുരവാക്കു പറയുന്നു.

9. Guide me in your justice because of my foes; make straight your way before me.

10. ദൈവമേ അവരെ കുറ്റംവിധിക്കേണമേ; തങ്ങളുടെ ആലോചനകളാല് തന്നേ അവര് വീഴട്ടെ; അവരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വംനിമിത്തം അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളയേണമേ; നിന്നോടല്ലോ അവര് മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു.

10. For there is no sincerity in their mouths; their hearts are corrupt. Their throats are open graves; on their tongues are subtle lies.

11. എന്നാല് നിന്നെ ശരണംപ്രാപിക്കുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും സന്തോഷിക്കും; നീ അവരെ പാലിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് എപ്പോഴും ആനന്ദിച്ചാര്ക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര് നിന്നില് ഉല്ലസിക്കും;

11. Declare them guilty, God; make them fall by their own devices. Drive them out for their many sins; they have rebelled against you.

12. യഹോവേ, നീ നീതിമാനെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; പരിചകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ നീ ദയകൊണ്ടു അവനെ മറെക്കും;

12. Then all who take refuge in you will be glad and forever shout for joy. Protect them that you may be the joy of those who love your name.
