1. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ വാക്കുകള്ക്കു ചെവി തരേണമേ; എന്റെ ധ്യാനത്തെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണമേ;

1. For the director of music. For pipes. A psalm of David. Listen to my words, LORD, consider my lament.

2. എന്റെ രാജാവും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമായുള്ളോവേ, എന്റെ സങ്കടയാചന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്നോടല്ലോ ഞാന് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നതു.

2. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray.

3. യഹോവേ, രാവിലെ എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; രാവിലെ ഞാന് നിനക്കായി ഒരുക്കി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

4. നീ ദുഷ്ടതയില് പ്രസാദിക്കുന്ന ദൈവമല്ല; ദുഷ്ടന് നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പാര്ക്കയില്ല.

4. For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome.

5. അഹങ്കാരികള് നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നില്ക്കയില്ല; നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരെയൊക്കെയും നീ പകെക്കുന്നു.

5. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence. You hate all who do wrong;

6. ഭോഷ്ക്കുപറയുന്നവരെ നീ നശിപ്പിക്കും; രക്തപാതകവും ചതിവുമുള്ളവന് യഹോവെക്കു അറെപ്പാകുന്നു;

6. you destroy those who tell lies. The bloodthirsty and deceitful you, LORD, detest.

7. ഞാനോ, നിന്റെ കൃപയുടെ ബഹുത്വത്താല് നിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു ചെന്നു നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു നേരെ നിങ്കലുള്ള ഭക്തിയോടെ ആരാധിക്കും.

7. But I, by your great love, can come into your house; in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple.

8. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്നിമിത്തം നിന്റെ നീതിയാല് എന്നെ നടത്തേണമേ; എന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്റെ വഴിയെ നിരപ്പാക്കേണമേ.

8. Lead me, LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies make your way straight before me.

9. അവരുടെ വായില് ഒട്ടും നേരില്ല; അവരുടെ അന്തരംഗം നാശകൂപം തന്നേ; അവരുടെ തൊണ്ട തുറന്ന ശവക്കുഴിയാകുന്നു; നാവുകൊണ്ടു അവര് മധുരവാക്കു പറയുന്നു.

9. Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they tell lies.

10. ദൈവമേ അവരെ കുറ്റംവിധിക്കേണമേ; തങ്ങളുടെ ആലോചനകളാല് തന്നേ അവര് വീഴട്ടെ; അവരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വംനിമിത്തം അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളയേണമേ; നിന്നോടല്ലോ അവര് മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു.

10. Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you.

11. എന്നാല് നിന്നെ ശരണംപ്രാപിക്കുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും സന്തോഷിക്കും; നീ അവരെ പാലിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് എപ്പോഴും ആനന്ദിച്ചാര്ക്കും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര് നിന്നില് ഉല്ലസിക്കും;

11. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

12. യഹോവേ, നീ നീതിമാനെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; പരിചകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ നീ ദയകൊണ്ടു അവനെ മറെക്കും;

12. Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
