1. ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളവാനും എന്റെ ജനത്തിലെ എളിയവരുടെ അവകാശം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുവാനും വിധവമാര് തങ്ങള്ക്കു കൊള്ളയായ്തീരുവാനും അനാഥന്മാരെ തങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇരയാക്കുവാനും തക്കവണ്ണം

1. Woe to them that write wickedness; for when they write, they write wickedness,

2. നീതികെട്ട ചട്ടം നിയമിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അനര്ത്ഥം എഴുതിവെക്കുന്ന എഴുത്തുകാര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

2. perverting the cause of the poor, violently seizing the judgment of the needy ones of My people, that the widow may be a prey to them, and the orphan a spoil.

3. സന്ദര്ശനദിവസത്തിലും ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു വരുന്ന വിനാശത്തിങ്കലും നിങ്ങള് എന്തു ചെയ്യും? സഹായത്തിന്നായിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് ആരുടെ അടുക്കല് ഔടിപ്പോകും? നിങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വം നിങ്ങള് എവിടെ വെച്ചുകൊള്ളും?
1 പത്രൊസ് 2:12

3. And what will they do in the day of visitation? For affliction shall come to you from afar; and to whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory,

4. അവര് ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ കീഴെ കുനികയും ഹതന്മാരുടെ കീഴെ വീഴുകയും ചെയ്കേയുള്ളു. ഇതെല്ലാംകൊണ്ടും അവന്റെ കോപം അടങ്ങാതെ അവന്റെ കൈ ഇനിയും നീട്ടിയിരിക്കും.

4. that you may not fall into captivity? For all this [His] wrath is not turned away, but [His] hand is yet exalted.

5. എന്റെ കോപത്തിന്റെ കോലായ അശ്ശൂരിന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അവരുടെ കയ്യിലെ വടി എന്റെ ക്രോധം ആകുന്നു.

5. Woe to the Assyrians; the rod of My wrath and anger are in their hands.

6. ഞാന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധമായോരു ജാതിക്കു നേരെ അയക്കും; എന്റെ ക്രോധം വഹിക്കുന്ന ജനത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി ഞാന് അവന്നു കല്പന കൊടുക്കും; അവരെ കൊള്ളയിടുവാനും കവര്ച്ച ചെയ്വാനും തെരുവീഥിയിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളവാനും തന്നേ.

6. I will send My wrath against a sinful nation, and I will command My people to take plunder and spoil, and to trample the cities, and to make dust out of them.

7. അവനോ അങ്ങനെയല്ല നിരൂപിക്കുന്നതു; തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില് അങ്ങനെയല്ല വിചാരിക്കുന്നതു; നശിപ്പിപ്പാനും അനേകം ജാതികളെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളവാനുമത്രേ അവന്റെ താല്പര്യം.

7. But he does not mean so, neither did he devise thus in his heart; but his mind shall change, and [that] to destroy nations not a few.

8. അവന് പറയുന്നതുഎന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് ഒക്കെയും രാജാക്കന്മാരല്ലയോ?

8. And if they should say to him, You alone are ruler;

9. കല്നോ കര്ക്കെമീശിനെപ്പോലെയല്ലയോ? ഹമാത്ത് അര്പ്പാദിനെപ്പോലെയല്ലയോ? ശമര്യ്യ ദമ്മേശെക്കിനെപ്പോലെയല്ലയോ?

9. then shall he say, Have I not taken the country above Babylon and Chalanes, where the tower was built? And have I [not] taken Arabia, and Damascus, and Samaria?

10. യെരൂശലേമിലും ശമര്യ്യയിലും ഉള്ളവയെക്കാള് വിശേഷമായ ബിംബങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മിത്ഥ്യാമൂര്ത്തികളുടെ രാജ്യങ്ങളെ എന്റെ കൈ എത്തിപ്പിടിച്ചിരിക്കെ,

10. As I have taken them, I will also take all the kingdoms; howl, you idols in Jerusalem, and in Samaria.

11. ഞാന് ശമര്യ്യയോടും അതിലെ മിത്ഥ്യാമൂര്ത്തികളോടും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഞാന് യെരൂശലേമിനോടും അതിലെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടും ചെയ്കയില്ലയോ?

11. For as I did to Samaria and her idols, so will I also do to Jerusalem and her idols.

12. അതുകൊണ്ടു കര്ത്താവു സീയോന് പര്വ്വതത്തിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയൊക്കെയും തീര്ത്തശേഷം, ഞാന് അശ്ശൂര് രാജാവിന്റെ അഹങ്കാരത്തിന്റെ ഫലത്തെയും അവന്റെ ഉന്നതഭാവത്തിന്റെ മഹിമയെയും സന്ദര്ശിക്കും.

12. And it shall come to pass, when the Lord has finished doing all things on Mount Zion and Jerusalem, [that] I will visit upon the proud heart, [even] upon the ruler of the Assyrians, and upon the boastful haughtiness of his eyes.

13. എന്റെ കയ്യുടെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടും എന്റെ ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടും ഞാന് ഇതു ചെയ്തു; ഞാന് ബുദ്ധിമാന് ; ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ അതിരുകളെ മാറ്റുകയും അവരുടെ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളെ കവര്ന്നുകളകയും പരാക്രമിയെപ്പോലെ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥന്മാരെ താഴ്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. For he said, I will act in strength, and in the wisdom of [my] understanding I will remove the boundaries of nations, and will spoil their strength.

14. എന്റെ കൈ ജാതികളുടെ ധനത്തെ ഒരു പക്ഷിക്കൂടിനെപ്പോലെ എത്തിപ്പടിച്ചു; ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ മുട്ടകളെ ശേഖരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ഞാന് സര്വ്വഭൂമിയെയും കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തു; ചിറകു അനക്കുകയോ ചുണ്ടു തുറക്കുകയോ ചിലെക്കുകയോ ചെയ്വാന് ഒന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല എന്നു അവന് പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

14. And I will shake the inhabited cities; and I will take with My hand all the world as a nest; and I will even take them as eggs that have been left; and there is none that shall escape Me, or contradict Me.

15. വെട്ടുന്നവനോടു കോടാലി വമ്പു പറയുമോ? വലിക്കുന്നവനോടു ഈര്ച്ചവാള് വലിപ്പം കാട്ടുമോ? അതോ, പിടിക്കുന്നവനെ വടി പൊക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും മരമല്ലാത്തവനെ കോല് പൊന്തിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും ആകുന്നു.

15. Shall the ax glorify itself without him that chops with it? Or shall the saw lift itself up without him that uses it, as if one should lift a rod or staff? But it shall not be so;

16. അതുകൊണ്ടു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അവന്റെ പുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ഇടയില് ക്ഷയം അയക്കും; അവന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന് കീഴെ തീ കത്തുംപോലെ ഒന്നു കത്തും.

16. but the Lord of hosts shall send dishonor upon your honor, and burning fire shall be kindled upon your glory.

17. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം ഒരു തീയായും അവന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന് ഒരു ജ്വാലയായും ഇരിക്കും; അതു കത്തി, ഒരു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

17. And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and He shall sanctify him with burning fire, and it shall devour the wood as grass.

18. അവന് അവന്റെ കാട്ടിന്റെയും തോട്ടത്തിന്റെയും മഹത്വത്തെ ദേഹിദേഹവുമായി നശിപ്പിക്കും; അതു ഒരു രോഗി ക്ഷയിച്ചു പോകുന്നതു പോലെയിരിക്കും.

18. In that day the mountains shall be consumed, and the hills, and the forests, and [fire] shall devour [both] soul and body; and he that flees shall be as one fleeing from a burning flame.

19. അവന്റെ കാട്ടില് ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വൃക്ഷങ്ങള് ചുരുക്കം ആയിരിക്കും; ഒരു ബാലന്നു അവയെ എണ്ണി എഴുതാം.

19. And they that are left of them shall be a [small] number, and a child shall write them.

20. അന്നാളില് യിസ്രായേലില് ശേഷിച്ചവരും യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹത്തിലെ രക്ഷിതഗണവും തങ്ങളെ അടിച്ചവനെ ഇനി ആശ്രയിക്കാതെ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനായ യഹോവയെ പരമാര്ത്ഥമായി ആശ്രയിക്കും.

20. And it shall come to pass in that day [that] the remnant of Israel shall no more join themselves with, and the saved of Jacob shall no more trust in them that injured them; but they shall trust in the Holy God of Israel, in truth.

21. ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പു മടങ്ങിവരും (ശെയാര്-യാശൂബ്); യാക്കോബിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പു വീരനാം ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും.

21. And the remnant of Jacob shall [trust] in the mighty God.

22. യിസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ ജനം കടല്ക്കരയിലെ മണല്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നാലും അതില് ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പു മാത്രം മടങ്ങിവരും; നീതിയെ പ്രവഹിക്കുന്നതായോരു സംഹാരം നിര്ണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
റോമർ 9:27-28

22. And though the people of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant of them shall be saved.

23. എങ്ങനെ എന്നാല് സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു സര്വ്വഭൂമിയുടെയും മദ്ധ്യേ നിര്ണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെട്ട സംഹാരം വരുത്തും.
റോമർ 9:27-28

23. He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness; because the Lord will make a short work in all the world.

24. അതുകൊണ്ടു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസീയോനില് വസിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ജനമേ, അശ്ശൂര് വടികൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അടിക്കയും മിസ്രയീമിലെ വിധത്തില് നിന്റെ നേരെ ചൂരല് ഔങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്താലും നീ അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ.

24. Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, Be not afraid, My people who dwell in Zion, of the Assyrians, because he shall smite you with a rod; for I am bringing a stroke upon you, that [you] may see the way of Egypt.

25. ഇനി കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു എന്റെ ക്രോധവും അവരുടെ സംഹാരത്തോടെ എന്റെ കോപവും തിര്ന്നു പോകും.

25. For yet a little while, and the indignation shall cease; but My wrath shall be against their council.

26. ഔറേബ് പാറെക്കരികെ വെച്ചുള്ള മിദ്യാന്റെ സംഹാരത്തില് എന്നപോലെ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അവന്റെ നേരെ ഒരു ചമ്മട്ടിയെ പൊക്കും; അവന് തന്റെ വടി സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേല് നീട്ടും; മിസ്രയീമില് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അതിനെ ഔങ്ങും.

26. And God will stir up [enemies] against them, according to the stroke of Midian in the place of affliction; and His wrath shall be by the way of the sea, [even] to the way that leads to Egypt.

27. അന്നാളില് അവന്റെ ചുമടു നിന്റെ തോളില്നിന്നും അവന്റെ നുകം നിന്റെ കഴുത്തില് നിന്നും നീങ്ങിപ്പോകും; പുഷ്ടിനിമിത്തം നുകം തകര്ന്നുപോകും.

27. And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his yoke shall be taken away from your shoulder, and his fear from you, and the yoke shall be destroyed from off your shoulders.

28. അവന് അയ്യാത്തില് എത്തി, മിഗ്രോനില്കൂടി കടന്നു; മിക്മാശില് തന്റെ പടക്കോപ്പു വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

28. For he shall arrive at the city of Aiath, and shall pass on to Migron, and shall lay up his stores in Michmash.

29. അവര് ചുരം കടന്നു; ഗേബയില് രാപാര്ത്തു; റാമാ നടുങ്ങുന്നു; ശൌലിന്റെ ഗിബെയാ ഔടിപ്പോയി.

29. And he shall pass by the valley, and shall arrive at Aiath; fear shall seize upon Ramah, the city of Saul.

30. ഗല്ലീംപുത്രീ, ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിക്ക; ലയേശേ, ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകേള്ക്ക; അനാഥോത്തേ, ഉത്തരം പറക.

30. The daughter of Gallim shall flee; Laish shall hear; one shall hear in Anathoth.

31. മദ്മേനാ ഔട്ടം തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഗെബീംനിവാസികള് ഔട്ടത്തിന്നു വട്ടംകൂട്ടുന്നു.

31. Madmenah also is amazed, and the inhabitants of Gebim.

32. ഇന്നു അവന് നോബില് താമസിക്കും; യെരൂശലേംഗിരിയായ സീയോന് പുത്രിയുടെ പര്വ്വതത്തിന്റെ നേരെ അവന് കൈ കുലുക്കുന്നു.

32. Exhort [them] today to remain in the way; exhort, [beckoning] the mountain with your hand, the daughter of Zion, even you hills that are in Jerusalem.

33. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു കൊമ്പുകളെ ഭയങ്കരമായി മുറിച്ചുകളയും; പൊക്കത്തില് വളര്ന്നവയെ അവന് വെട്ടിയിടുകയും ഉയര്ന്നവയെ താഴ്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

33. Behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, will mightily confound the glorious ones; and the haughty in pride shall be crushed, and the lofty shall be brought low;

34. അവന് വനത്തിലെ പള്ളക്കാടുകളെ ഇരിമ്പായുധംകൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും; ലെബാനോനും ബലവാന്റെ കയ്യാല് വീണുപോകും.

34. and the lofty ones shall fall by the sword, and Lebanon shall fall with his lofty ones.
