1. ദ്വീപുകളേ, എന്റെ മുമ്പില് മിണ്ടാതെ ഇരിപ്പിന് ; ജാതികള് ശക്തിയെ പുതുക്കട്ടെ; അവര് അടുത്തുവന്നു സംസാരിക്കട്ടെ; നാം തമ്മില് ന്യായവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്നു അടുത്തു വരിക.

1. Be quiet before Me, O coasts; and let peoples renew their power. They come near; then they speak: Let us draw near together for judgment.

2. Who raised up the righteous one from the east? He called him to His foot; He gives nations before him, and subdues kings; He gives them as dust to his sword, as driven stubble to his bow;

3. He pursues them; he passes on in peace; he does not go by the way with his feet.

4. Who has planned and done it, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I Jehovah am the first and the last; I am He.

5. The coasts have seen and fear; the ends of the earth tremble; they have drawn near; yea, they come.

6. Each man helps his neighbor, and says to his brother, Be strong.

7. അങ്ങനെ ആശാരി തട്ടാനെയും കൊല്ലന് കൂടം തല്ലുന്നവനെയും ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തി കൂട്ടിവിളക്കുന്നതിന്നു ചേലായി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു, ഇളകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് അതിനെ ആണികൊണ്ടു ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

7. So the carver strengthens the refiner; and he smoothing with the hammer, him who struck the anvil, saying of the soldering, It is good. And he made it strong with nails; it will not totter.

8. But you Israel are My servant, Jacob whom I have elected; the seed of My friend Abraham;

9. whom I have made strong from the ends of the earth, and called you from its sides; and I said to you, You are My servant. I elected you, and have not rejected you.

10. Do not fear, for I am with you; do not gaze about, for I am your God; I will make you strong; yea, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

11. നിന്നോടു കോപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരും ലജ്ജിച്ചു അമ്പരന്നുപോകും; നിന്നോടു വിവാദിക്കുന്നവര് നശിച്ചു ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

11. Behold, they all shall be humiliated, all who are provoked with you; they shall be as nothing; men who contend with you shall perish.

12. നിന്നോടു പോരാടുന്നവരെ നീ അന്വേഷിക്കും; കാണുകയില്ലതാനും; നിന്നോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നവര് നാസ്തിത്വവും ഇല്ലായ്മയുംപോലെ ആകും.

12. You shall seek them and shall not find them; men of your strife shall be as nothing, even men of your battle as ceasing.

13. നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാന് നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ പിടിച്ചു നിന്നോടുഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ സഹായിക്കും എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

13. For I, Jehovah your God am strengthening your right hand, who says to you, Do not fear I will help you.

14. പുഴുവായ യാക്കോബേ, യിസ്രായേല്പരിഷയേ, ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഞാന് നിന്നെ സഹായിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരന് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ.

14. Fear not, worm of Jacob, men of Israel; I will help you, states Jehovah, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

15. ഇതാ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ പുതിയതും മൂര്ച്ചയുള്ളതും പല്ലേറിയതും ആയ മെതിവണ്ടിയാക്കി തീര്ക്കുംന്നു; നീ പര്വ്വതങ്ങളെ മെതിച്ചു പൊടിക്കുകയും കുന്നുകളെ പതിര്പോലെ ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

15. Behold! I have made you a new sharp threshing instrument, a master of teeth; you shall thresh mountains and beat them small, and shall make hills like the chaff.

16. നീ അവയെ പാറ്റും; കാറ്റു അവയെ പറപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകും; ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു അവയെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും; നീയോ യഹോവയില് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനില് പുകഴും.

16. You shall winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the tempest will scatter them. And you shall rejoice in Jehovah; you shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

17. എളിയവരും ദരിദ്രന്മാരുമായവര് വെള്ളം തിരഞ്ഞുനടക്കുന്നു; ഒട്ടും കിട്ടായ്കയാല് അവരുടെ നാവു ദാഹംകൊണ്ടു വരണ്ടുപോകുന്നു. യഹോവയായ ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ഉത്തരം അരുളും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ ഞാന് അവരെ കൈവിടുകയില്ല.

17. The poor and the needy seek water, and there is none; their tongue is parched for thirst. I, Jehovah will hear them; the God of Israel will not leave them.

18. ഞാന് പാഴ്മലകളില് നദികളെയും താഴ്വരകളുടെ നടുവില് ഉറവുകളെയും തുറക്കും; മരുഭൂമിയെ ഞാന് നീര്പൊയ്കയും വരണ്ട നിലത്തെ നീരുറവുകളും ആക്കും.

18. I will open rivers in bare places, and fountains in the midst of valleys; I will make the desert for a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

19. ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയില് ദേവദാരു, ഖദിരമരം, കൊഴുന്തു, ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷം എന്നിവ നടും; ഞാന് നിര്ജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു സരളവൃക്ഷവും പയിന് മരവും പുന്നയും വെച്ചുപിടിപ്പിക്കും.

19. I will plant cedar in the wilderness, acacia, and myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set fir, pine and boxwood together in the desert;

20. യഹോവയുടെ കൈ അതു ചെയ്തു എന്നും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന് അതു സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു എന്നും അവരെല്ലാവരും കണ്ടു അറിഞ്ഞു വിചാരിച്ചു ഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

20. so that they may see, and know, and set up, and understand together, that the hand of Jehovah has done this; and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

21. നിങ്ങളുടെ വ്യവഹാരം കൊണ്ടുവരുവിന് എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങളെ കാണിപ്പിന് എന്നു യാക്കോബിന്റെ രാജാവു കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

21. Bring your cause, says Jehovah; let your strong reasons come near, says the King of Jacob.

22. സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ളതു അവര് കാണിച്ചു നമ്മോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്കട്ടെ; നാം വിചാരിച്ചു അതിന്റെ അവസാനം അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ആദ്യകാര്യങ്ങള് ഇന്നിന്നവയെന്നു അവര് പ്രസ്താവിക്കട്ടെ; അല്ലെങ്കില് സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ളതു നമ്മെ കേള്പ്പിക്കട്ടെ.

22. Let them draw near and tell us what shall happen; the former things, let them reveal what they are, that we may set our heart and know their end; or declare to us the coming things.

23. നിങ്ങള് ദേവന്മാര് എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു മേലാല് വരുവാനുള്ളതു പ്രസ്താവിപ്പിന് ; ഞങ്ങള് കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നന്മയെങ്കിലും തിന്മയെങ്കിലും പ്രവര്ത്തിപ്പിന് .

23. Reveal the near things hereafter, so that we may know that you are gods. Yea, do good, or do evil, that we may gaze and see together.

24. നിങ്ങള് ഇല്ലായ്മയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി നാസ്തിയും ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങളെ വരിക്കുന്നവന് കുത്സിതനത്രേ.

24. Behold, you are of nothing; and your work of nothing; he who chooses you is an abomination.

25. ഞാന് ഒരുത്തനെ വടക്കുനിന്നു എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; അവന് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; സൂര്യോദയദിക്കില് നിന്നു അവനെ എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; അവന് എന്റെ നാമത്തെ ആരാധിക്കും; അവര് വന്നു ചെളിയെപ്പോലെയും കുശവന് കളിമണ്ണു ചവിട്ടുന്നതുപോലെയും ദേശാധിപതികളെ ചവിട്ടും.

25. I have raised up one from the north; and he shall come from the east; he will call on My name. And he shall come upon rulers as on mortar, and as a potter tramples clay.

26. ഞങ്ങള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ആദിമുതലും അവന് നീതിമാന് എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു പണ്ടേയും ആര് പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളു? പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാനോ കാണിച്ചുതരുവാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പാനോ ആരും ഇല്ല.

26. Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know; and before, that we may say, He is right? Yea, no one declares; yea, no one proclaims; yea, there is no one who hears your words.

27. ഞാന് ആദ്യനായി സീയോനോടുഇതാ, ഇതാ, അവര് വരുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ഞാന് ഒരു സുവാര്ത്താദൂതനെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

27. At first to Zion, I say, Behold! Behold them! And I will give to Jerusalem one proclaiming good news.

28. But I saw, and there was not a man; and of these, there was not a counselor, that I may ask them, and they could return a word.

29. അവരെല്ലാവരും വ്യാജമാകുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് നാസ്തിയത്രേ; അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള് കാറ്റും ശൂന്യവും തന്നേ.

29. Behold, they are all evil; their works are nothing; their images are wind and vanity.
