13. He shot his arrows into my heart.

14. ഞാന് എന്റെ സര്വ്വജനത്തിന്നും പരിഹാസവും ഇടവിടാതെ അവരുടെ പാട്ടും ആയിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. I have become the laughingstock of all people, their mocking song all day long.

17. I am deprived of peace; I have forgotten what happiness is.

18. എന്റെ മഹത്വവും യഹോവയിങ്കലുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയും പൊയ്പോയല്ലോ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.

18. So I said, 'My endurance has expired; I have lost all hope of deliverance from the LORD.'&u05D6; (Zayin)

19. നീ എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയും അരിഷ്ടതയും കാഞ്ഞിരവും കൈപ്പും ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.

19. Remember my impoverished and homeless condition, which is a bitter poison.

20. എന്റെ പ്രാണന് എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് എപ്പോഴും അവയെ ഔര്ത്തു ഉരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

20. I continually think about this, and I am depressed.

21. ഇതു ഞാന് ഔര്ക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശിക്കും.

21. But this I call to mind; therefore I have hope:&u05D7; (Khet)

22. നാം മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകാതിരിക്കുന്നതു യഹോവയുടെ ദയ ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ കരുണ തീര്ന്നു പോയിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ;

22. The LORD's loyal kindness never ceases; his compassions never end.

23. അതു രാവിലെതോറും പുതിയതും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്ഥത വലിയതും ആകുന്നു.

23. They are fresh every morning; your faithfulness is abundant!

24. യഹോവ എന്റെ ഔഹരി എന്നു എന്റെ ഉള്ളം പറയുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവനില് പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നു.

24. 'My portion is the Lord,' I have said to myself, so I will put my hope in him.&u05D8; (Tet)

25. തന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും തന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന്നും യഹോവ നല്ലവന് .

25. The LORD is good to those who trust in him, to the one who seeks him.

26. യഹോവയുടെ രക്ഷെക്കായി മിണ്ടാതെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.

26. It is good to wait patiently for deliverance from the LORD.

27. ബാല്യത്തില് നുകം ചുമക്കുന്നതു ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു നല്ലതു.

27. It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.&u05D9; (Yod)

28. അവന് അതു അവന്റെ മേല് വെച്ചിരിക്ക കൊണ്ടു അവന് തനിച്ചു മൌനം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ.

28. Let a person sit alone in silence, when the LORD is disciplining him.

29. അവന് തന്റെ മുഖത്തെ പൊടിയോളം താഴ്ത്തട്ടെ; പക്ഷെ പ്രത്യാശ ശേഷിക്കും.

29. Let him bury his face in the dust; perhaps there is hope.

34. ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലബദ്ധന്മാരെയും കാല്കീഴിട്ടു മെതിക്കുന്നതും.

34. To crush underfoot all the earth's prisoners,

35. അത്യുന്നതന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് മനുഷ്യന്റെ ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും.

35. to deprive a person of his rights in the presence of the Most High,

36. മനുഷ്യനെ വ്യവഹാരത്തില് തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും കര്ത്താവു കാണുകയില്ലയോ?

36. to defraud a person in a lawsuit the Lord does not approve of such things!&u05DE; (Mem)

37. കര്ത്താവു കല്പിക്കാതെ ആര് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടാകുന്നു വല്ലതും സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു?

37. Whose command was ever fulfilled unless the Lord decreed it?

38. അത്യുന്നതന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു നന്മയും തിന്മയും പുറപ്പെടുന്നില്ലയോ?

38. Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that everything comes both calamity and blessing?

39. മനുഷ്യന് ജീവനുള്ളന്നു നെടുവീര്പ്പിടുന്നതെന്തു? ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നെടുവീര്പ്പിടട്ടെ.

39. Why should any living person complain when punished for his sins?&u05E0; (Nun)

40. നാം നമ്മുടെ നടുപ്പു ആരാഞ്ഞു ശോധനചെയ്തു യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയുക.

40. Let us carefully examine our ways, and let us return to the LORD.

41. നാം കൈകളെയും ഹൃദയത്തെയും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു ഉയര്ത്തുക.

41. Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven:

42. ഞങ്ങള് അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തു മത്സരിച്ചു; നീ ക്ഷമിച്ചതുമില്ല.

44. You shrouded yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through.

45. നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചവറും എച്ചിലും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

46. All our enemies have gloated over us;

47. പേടിയും കണിയും ശൂന്യവും നാശവും ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

47. Panic and pitfall have come upon us, devastation and destruction.

48. എന്റെ ജനത്തിന് പുത്രിയുടെ നാശംനിമിത്തം നീര്ത്തോടുകള് എന്റെ കണ്ണില്നിന്നൊഴുകുന്നു.

48. Streams of tears flow from my eyes because my people are destroyed.&u05E2; (Ayin)

49. യഹോവ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കി കടാക്ഷിക്കുവോളം

49. Tears flow from my eyes and will not stop; there will be no break

50. എന്റെ കണ്ണു ഇടവിടാതെ പൊഴിക്കുന്നു; ഇളെക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

50. until the LORD looks down from heaven and sees what has happened.

51. എന്റെ നഗരത്തിലെ സകലസ്ത്രീജനത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു എന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

53. They shut me up in a pit and threw stones at me.

55. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് ആഴമുള്ള കുണ്ടറയില്നിന്നു നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

55. I have called on your name, O LORD, from the deepest pit.

56. എന്റെ നെടുവീര്പ്പിന്നും എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കും ചെവി പൊത്തിക്കളയരുതേ എന്നുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

56. You heard my plea: 'Do not close your ears to my cry for relief!'

57. ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ച നാളില് നീ അടുത്തുവന്നുഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

57. You came near on the day I called to you; you said, 'Do not fear!'&u05E8; (Resh)

58. കര്ത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തി, എന്റെ ജീവനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

58. O Lord, you championed my cause, you redeemed my life.

59. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് അനുഭവിച്ച അന്യായം നീ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം തീര്ത്തുതരേണമേ.

59. You have seen the wrong done to me, O LORD; pronounce judgment on my behalf!

64. Pay them back what they deserve, O LORD, according to what they have done.

65. നീ അവര്ക്കും ഹൃദയകാഠിന്യം വരുത്തും; നിന്റെ ശാപം അവര്ക്കും വരട്ടെ.

65. Give them a distraught heart; may your curse be on them!
