1. യഹോവ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില്വെച്ചു മോശെയെ വിളിച്ചു അവനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And the LORD called Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of witness saying:

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു സംസാരിച്ചു അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങളില് ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് കന്നുകാലികളോ ആടുകളോ ആയ മൃഗങ്ങളെ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കേണം.

2. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: Whosoever of you shall bring a gift unto the LORD, shall bring it of the cattle: even of the oxen and of the sheep.

3. അവര് വഴിപാടായി കന്നുകാലികളില് ഒന്നിനെ ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ആണിനെ അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദം ലഭിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് അതിനെ സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് വെച്ചു അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

3. If he bring a burntoffering of the oxen he shall offer a male without blemish, and shall bring him to the door of the tabernacle of witness, that he may be accepted before the LORD.

4. അവന് ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്റെ തലയില് കൈവെക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തുവാന് അവന്റെ പേര്ക്കും സുഗ്രാഹ്യമാകും.

4. And let him put his hand upon the head of the burntsacrifice, and favour shall be given him to make an atonement for him,

5. അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് കാളക്കിടാവിനെ അറുക്കേണം; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് അതിന്റെ രക്തം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് ഉള്ള യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ചുറ്റും തളിക്കേണം.

5. and let him kill the ox before the LORD. And let the priests Aaron's sons bring the blood and let them sprinkle it round about upon the altar that is before the door of the tabernacle of witness.

6. അവന് ഹോമയാഗമൃഗത്തെ തോലുരിച്ചു ഖണ്ഡംഖണ്ഡമായി മുറിക്കേണം.

6. And let the burntofferings be stripped and hewed in pieces.

7. പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് തീ ഇട്ടു തീയുടെ മേല് വിറകു അടുക്കേണം.

7. And then let the sons of Aaron the priest put fire upon the altar, and put wood upon the fire,

8. പിന്നെ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് ഖണ്ഡങ്ങളും തലയും മേദസ്സും യാഗപീഠത്തില് തീയുടെ മേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

8. and let them lay the pieces with the head and the fat, upon the wood that is on the fire in the altar.

9. അതിന്റെ കുടലും കാലും അവന് വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകേണം. പുരോഹിതന് സകലവും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ഹോമയാഗമായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; അതു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗം.

9. But the inwards and the legs they shall wash in water, and the priest shall burn altogether upon the altar, that it be a burnt sacrifice, and an offering of a sweet odour unto the LORD.

10. ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള അവന്റെ വഴിപാടു ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടത്തിലെ ഒരു ചെമ്മരിയാടോ കോലാടോ ആകുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ആണിനെ അവന് അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

10. If he will offer a burnt sacrifice of the sheep whether it be of the lambs or of the goats: he shall offer a male without blemish.

11. അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തുവെച്ചു അതിനെ അറുക്കേണം; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് അതിന്റെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ചുറ്റും തളിക്കേണം.

11. And let him kill it on the north side of the altar, before the LORD. And let the priests Aaron's sons sprinkle the blood of it, round about upon the altar.

12. അവന് അതിനെ തലയോടും മേദസ്സോടുംകൂടെ ഖണ്ഡംഖണ്ഡമായി മുറിക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവയെ യാഗപീഠത്തില് തീയുടെമേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

12. And let it be cut in pieces: even with his head and his fat, and let the priest put them upon the wood that lieth upon the fire in the altar.

13. കുടലും കാലും അവന് വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകേണം; പുരോഹിതന് സകലവും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഹോമയാഗമായി യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയുള്ള ദഹനയാഗമായി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

13. But let him wash the inwards and the legs with water, and then bring altogether and burn it upon the altar: that is a burntoffering and a sacrifice of sweet savour unto the LORD.

14. യഹോവേക്കു അവന്റെ വഴിപാടു പറവ ജാതിയില് ഒന്നിനെക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഹോമയാഗമാകുന്നു എങ്കില് അവന് കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ വഴിപാടായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

14. If he will offer a burntoffering of the fowls (unto the LORD) he shall offer either of the turtle doves or of the young pigeons.

15. പുരോഹിതന് അതിനെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തല പിരിച്ചുപറിച്ചു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തിങ്കല് പിഴിഞ്ഞുകളയേണം.

15. And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring the neck asunder of it, and burn it on the altar, and let the blood run out upon the sides of the altar,

16. അതിന്റെ തീന് പണ്ടം മലത്തോടുകൂടെ പറിച്ചെടുത്തു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അരികെ കിഴക്കുവശത്തു വെണ്ണീരിടുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു ഇടേണം.

16. and pluck away his crop and his feathers, and cast them beside the altar on the east part upon the heap of ashes,

17. അതിനെ രണ്ടാക്കാതെ ചിറകോടുകൂടെ പിളര്ക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അതിനെ യാഗപീഠത്തില് തീയുടെമേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; അതു ഹോമയാഗമായി യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗം.

17. and break his wings, but pluck them not asunder. And then let the priest burn it upon the altar, even upon the wood that lieth upon the fire, a burnt sacrifice and an offering of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
