1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2. ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേല് തിണര്പ്പോ ചുണങ്ങോ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഇങ്ങനെ കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടു കണ്ടാല് അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ അടുക്കലോ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന്റെ അടുക്കലോ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

2. When a man has a rising in the skin of his flesh, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it shall become in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought in to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.

3. പുരോഹിതന് ത്വക്കിന്മേല് ഉള്ള വടു നോക്കേണം; വടുവിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തതും വടു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞതും ആയി കണ്ടാല് അതു കുഷ്ടലക്ഷണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കി അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

3. And the priest shall look upon the plague in the skin of the flesh; and if the hair in the plague has turned white, and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy, and the priest shall look upon him and shall pronounce him unclean.

4. അവന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പുള്ളി വെളുത്തതും ത്വക്കിനെക്കാളും കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാത്തതും അതിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കാത്തതും ആയി കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് ആ ലക്ഷണമുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടക്കേണം.

4. And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall shut up the plague seven days.

5. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം. വടു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട സ്ഥിതിയില് നിലക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

5. And the priest shall look on him on the seventh day, and, behold, if the plague stays in its appearance, and the plague has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven more days.

6. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ വീണ്ടും നോക്കേണം; വടു മങ്ങിയതായും ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു ചുണങ്ങത്രേ. അവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

6. And the priest shall look upon him again the seventh day; and, behold, if the plague has become dim, and the plague has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is a scab, and he shall wash his garments and shall be clean.

7. അവന് ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നായി തന്നെത്താന് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിച്ചശേഷം ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് അധികമായി പരന്നാല് അവന് പിന്നെയും തന്നെത്താന് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

7. But if the scab spreads greatly in the skin, after he has been seen by the priest for his cleansing, then he shall be seen a second time by the priest.

8. ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കുന്നു എന്നു പുരോഹിതന് കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

8. And the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab has spread in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is leprosy.

9. കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഒരു മനുഷ്യനില് ഉണ്ടായാല് അവനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

9. When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought in to the priest.

10. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; ത്വക്കിന്മേല് വെളുത്ത തിണര്പ്പുണ്ടായിരിക്കയും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കയും തിണര്പ്പില് പച്ചമാംസത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

10. And the priest shall look, and, behold, if a white rising is in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and a living flesh is in the swelling,

11. അതു അവന്റെ ത്വക്കില് പഴകിയ കുഷ്ഠം ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് അശുദ്ധനാകകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കരുതു.

11. it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he shall not shut him up, for he is unclean.

12. കുഷ്ഠം ത്വക്കില് അധികമായി പരന്നു രോഗിയുടെ തലതൊട്ടു കാല്വരെ പുരോഹിതന് കാണുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും വടു ത്വക്കില് ആസകലം മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം;

12. And if the leprosy breaks out greatly on the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the one who has the plague, from his head even to his feet, to all that appears to the priest's eyes,

13. കുഷ്ഠം അവന്റെ ദേഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും മൂടിയിരുന്നാല് അവന് വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; ആസകാലം വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് ആകുന്നു.

13. then the priest shall look, and behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce the plague-spot clean; it has all turned white; he is clean.

14. എന്നാല് പച്ചമാംസം അവനില് കണ്ടാല് അവന് അശുദ്ധന് .

14. And in the day living flesh is seen in him, he is unclean.

15. പുരോഹിതന് പച്ചമാംസം നോക്കി അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം. പച്ചമാംസം അശുദ്ധം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

15. And the priest shall look on the living flesh and shall pronounce him unclean; the living flesh is unclean; it is leprosy.

16. എന്നാല് പച്ചമാംസം മാറി വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നാല് അവന് പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരേണം.

16. Or when the living flesh turns back and shall be turned to white, then he shall come in to the priest;

17. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; വടു വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

17. and the priest shall look on him; and, behold, the plague has turned to white; the priest shall pronounce the plague-spot clean; he is clean.

18. ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് പരുവുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടു

18. And when the flesh has a boil in its skin, and it has been healed,

19. സൌഖ്യമായ ശേഷം പരുവിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു വെളുത്ത തിണര്പ്പോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഉണ്ടായാല് അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

19. and a white rising has replaced the boil, or a bright white spot, very red, a reddish white, then it shall be seen by the priest.

20. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞതും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തതുമായി കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പരുവില്നിന്നുണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം.

20. And the priest shall look; and, behold, if its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair has turned white, the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is the plague of leprosy; it has broken out in a boil.

21. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അതുനോക്കി അതില് വെളുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

21. But if the priest looks at it; and, behold, there is no white hair in it, and it is not lower than the skin, and has become dim, then the priest shall shut him up seven days.

22. അതു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് അധികം പരന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

22. And if it spreads greatly in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a plague.

23. എന്നാല് വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നിന്നു എങ്കില് അതു പരുവിന്റെ വടു അത്രേ. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

23. And if in its place the bright spot is stayed, it has not spread; it is an inflamed boil, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24. അല്ലെങ്കില് ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് തീപ്പൊള്ളല് ഉണ്ടായി പൊള്ളലിന്റെ വടു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തോ വെളുത്ത തന്നേയോ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പുള്ളി ആയി തീര്ന്നാല്

24. Or if there is flesh in which the skin has a hot burning, and the raw flesh of the burning becomes a bright white spot, being very red or white;

25. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; പുള്ളിയിലെ രോമം വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞുകണ്ടാല് പൊള്ളലില് ഉണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠം; ആകയാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

25. and the priest shall look on it; and, behold, the hair has turned white in the bright spot, and its appearance is deeper than the skin, it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is the plague of leprosy.

26. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കീട്ടു പുള്ളിയില് വെളുത്തരോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

26. But if the priest looks on it, and, behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it is no lower than the other skin, but is somewhat faded, then the priest shall shut him up seven days.

27. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണംഅതു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നിരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

27. And the priest shall look at him the seventh day. And if it is spread abroad very much in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.

28. എന്നാല് പുള്ളി ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നില്ക്കയും നിറം മങ്ങിയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പു ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പത്രേ.

28. And if the bright spot stays in its place, and does not spread in the skin, but is somewhat faded, it is a swelling of the burning; and the priest shall pronounce him clean. for it is a scar of the burning.

29. ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു എങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്ത്രിക്കു എങ്കിലും തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഒരു വടു ഉണ്ടായാല് പുരോഹിതന് വടു നോക്കേണം.

29. And if a man or a woman has in them a plague in the head or in the beard,

30. അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞും അതില് പൊന് നിറമായ നേര്മ്മയുള്ള രോമം ഉള്ളതായും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പുറ്റാകുന്നു; തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഉള്ള കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

30. then the priest shall look on the plague. And, behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and a thin shining hair in it, the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a scab, a leprosy on the head or beard.

31. പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റിന്റെ വടുവിനെ നോക്കുമ്പോള് അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും അതില് കറുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റുവടുവുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

31. And when the priest looks on the plague of the scab; and, behold, it is not in sight deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up the plagued one with the scab seven days.

32. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു പരക്കാതെയും അതില് പൊന് നിറമുള്ള രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും പുറ്റിന്റെ കാഴ്ച ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അവന് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിക്കേണം;

32. And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague. And, behold, if the scab has not spread, and there is no shining hair in it, and the appearance of the scab is not deeper than the skin,

33. എന്നാല് പുറ്റില് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യരുതു; പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റുള്ളവനെ പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

33. then he shall shave himself, but he shall not shave the scab. And the priest shall shut up the one who has the scab a second seven days.

34. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റു നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെയും കാഴ്ചെക്കു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

34. And the priest shall look on the scab on the seventh day. And, behold, if the scab has not spread in the skin, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. And he shall wash his garments, and shall be clean.

35. എന്നാല് അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നാല്

35. And if the scab has spread further in the skin after his cleansing,

36. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നിരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് പൊന് നിറമുള്ള രോമം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ.

36. and the priest has looked on him; and, behold, the scab has spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for the shining, yellow hair; he is unclean.

37. എന്നാല് പുറ്റു കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നിലക്കുന്നതായും അതില് കറുത്ത രോമം മുളെച്ചതായും കണ്ടാല് പുറ്റു സൌഖ്യമായി; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് ; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

37. But if in his eyes the scab has stabilized, and black hair has sprung up in it, the scab has been healed; he is clean. And the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38. ഒരു പുരുഷന്നോ സ്ത്രീക്കോ ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാല്

38. And when a man or a woman has bright spots, white bright spots, in the skin of their flesh,

39. പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് മങ്ങിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാല് അതു ത്വക്കില് ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ചുണങ്ങു; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

39. and the priest has seen it; and, behold there are pale white spots in the skin of their flesh, it is a pale spot springing up in the skin; he is clean.

40. തലമുടി കൊഴിഞ്ഞവനോ കഷണ്ടിക്കാരനത്രേ; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

40. And when a man's head grows bald, he is bald, he is clean.

41. തലയില് മുന് വശത്തെ രോമം കൊഴിഞ്ഞവന് മുന് കഷണ്ടിക്കാരന് ; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

41. And if his head grows bald from the corner of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald; he is clean.

42. പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളിയുണ്ടായാല് അതു അവന്റെ പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന കുഷ്ടം.

42. And if there is in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish white plague, it is a leprosy breaking out in the bald head, or in the bald forehead.

43. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ത്വക്കില് കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ വടുവിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തതായിരുന്നാല് അവന് കുഷ്ഠരോഗി;

43. And the priest shall look on him, and, behold, if the rising of the plague is reddish white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy, in the skin of the flesh,

44. അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു തീര്ത്തു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന്നു തലയില് കുഷ്ഠരോഗം ഉണ്ടു.

44. he is a leprous man; he is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

45. വടുവുള്ള കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയുടെ വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കളയേണംഅവന്റെ തല മൂടാതിരിക്കേണം; അവന് അധരം മൂടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയും അശുദ്ധന് അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറകയും വേണം.

45. And the leper who has the plague in him, his garments shall be torn, and his head shall be uncovered, and he shall cover the upper lip; and he shall call out, Unclean! Unclean!

46. അവന്നു രോഗം ഉള്ള നാള് ഒക്കെയും അവന് അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ; അവന് തനിച്ചു പാര്ക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പാര്പ്പു പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

46. And the days that the plague shall be in him, he is unclean; he shall live alone, he is unclean; his dwelling shall be at the outside of the camp.

47. ആട്ടു രോമവസ്ത്രമോ ചണവസ്ത്രമോ ആയ ഏതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലെങ്കിലും

47. And if there is in any garment a plague of leprosy, in a garment of wool, or in a garment of linen,

48. ചണംകൊണ്ടോ ആട്ടുരോമംകൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള പാവില് എങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും തോല് കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു സാധനത്തില് എങ്കിലും

48. or in the warp, or in the woof, or of linen, or of wool, or in leather, or in any work of leather,

49. കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടുവായി വസ്ത്രത്തില് എങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും പാവിലെങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലെങ്കിലും വടു ഇളമ്പച്ചയോ ഇളഞ്ചുവപ്പോ ആയിരുന്നാല് അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം ആകുന്നു; അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

49. and if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the leather, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of leather, it is a plague of leprosy; and it shall be seen by the priest.

50. പുരോഹിതന് വടുനോക്കി വടുവുള്ളതിനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

50. And the priest shall look on the plague, and shall shut up the plagued thing seven days.

51. അവന് ഏഴാം ദിവസം വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോലിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു പണിയിലോ വടു പരന്നിരുന്നാല് ആ വടു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു അശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു.

51. And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day. And if the plague has spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the leather, of all that is made of skin for use, the plague is a corroding leprosy; it is unclean.

52. വടുവുള്ള സാധനം ആട്ടിന് രോമംകൊണ്ടോ ചണം കൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള എന്തെങ്കിലുമോ ആയിരുന്നാലും അതു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

52. And he shall burn the garment, or the warp, or the woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of leather, in which the plague is; for it is a corroding leprosy; it shall be burned with fire.

53. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; വടു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ പരന്നിട്ടില്ല എങ്കില്

53. And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague has not spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of leather,

54. പുരോഹിതന് വടുവുള്ള സാധനം കഴുകുവാന് കല്പിക്കേണം; അതു പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

54. then the priest shall command, and they shall wash that in which the plague is. And he shall shut it up a second seven days.

55. കഴുകിയശേഷം പുരോഹിതന് വടു നോക്കേണംവടു നിറം മാറാതെയും പരക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അതു അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; അതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു അതിന്റെ അകത്തോ പുറത്തോ തിന്നെടുക്കുന്ന വ്രണം.

55. And the priest shall look on that in which the plague is after it has been washed. And, behold, if the plague has not changed its appearance, and if the plague has not spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it with fire; it is eaten away in its inside or in its outside.

56. പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; കഴുകിയശേഷം വടുവിന്റെ നിറം മങ്ങി എങ്കില് അവന് അതിനെ വസ്ത്രത്തില്നിന്നോ തോലില്നിന്നോ പാവില്നിന്നോ ഊടയില്നിന്നോ കീറിക്കളയേണം.

56. And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague has become pale after it has been washed, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the leather, or out of the warp, or out of the woof.

57. അതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ കാണുന്നു എങ്കില് അതു പടരുന്നതാകുന്നു; വടുവുള്ളതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

57. And if it is still seen in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of leather, it is a spreading plague; you shall burn it with fire, that in which the plague is.

58. എന്നാല് വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനമോ കഴുകിയശേഷം വടു അവയില് നിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോയി എങ്കില് അതിനെ രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം കഴുകേണം; അപ്പോള് അതു ശുദ്ധമാകും.

58. And the garment, or the warp, or the woof, or anything of leather which you shall wash when the plague has been taken off them, then it shall be washed a second time, and shall be clean.

59. ആട്ടുരോമമോ ചണമോ കൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രത്തില് എങ്കിലും പാവില് എങ്കിലും ഊടയില് എങ്കിലും തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊന്നിലെങ്കിലും ഉള്ള കുഷ്ടത്തിന്റെ വടുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അതു ശുദ്ധമെന്നോ അശുദ്ധമെന്നോ വിധിപ്പാനുള്ള പ്രമാണം ഇതു തന്നേ.

59. This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of wool or of linen, or of the warp, or of the woof, or of anything of leather, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
