1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. The Lord spak to Moyses and Aaron, and seide,

2. ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേല് തിണര്പ്പോ ചുണങ്ങോ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഇങ്ങനെ കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടു കണ്ടാല് അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ അടുക്കലോ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന്റെ അടുക്കലോ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

2. A man in whos skyn and fleisch rysith dyuerse colour, ether whelke, ethir as `sum schynynge thing, that is, a wounde of lepre, he schal be brouyt to Aaron preest, ether to oon `who euer of hise sones;

3. പുരോഹിതന് ത്വക്കിന്മേല് ഉള്ള വടു നോക്കേണം; വടുവിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തതും വടു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞതും ആയി കണ്ടാല് അതു കുഷ്ടലക്ഷണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കി അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

3. and whanne he seeth lepre in the skyn, and the heeris chaungide in to whijte colour, and that spice of lepre lowere than the tother skyn and fleisch, it is a wounde of lepre, and he schal be departid at the `doom of the preest.

4. അവന്റെ ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പുള്ളി വെളുത്തതും ത്വക്കിനെക്കാളും കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാത്തതും അതിന്നകത്തുള്ള രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കാത്തതും ആയി കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് ആ ലക്ഷണമുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടക്കേണം.

4. Sotheli if schynyng whijtnesse is in the skyn, nethir is lower than the tother fleisch, and the heeris ben of the formere colour, the preest schal close hym seuene daies;

5. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം. വടു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട സ്ഥിതിയില് നിലക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

5. and schal biholde hym in the seuenthe dai, and sotheli if the lepre wexith not ferther, nethir passith the formere termes in the fleisch, eft the preest schal close hym ayen seuene other daies;

6. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ വീണ്ടും നോക്കേണം; വടു മങ്ങിയതായും ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു ചുണങ്ങത്രേ. അവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

6. and schal biholde in the seuenthe day, if the lepre is derkere, and wexith not in the fleisch, the preest schal clense hym, for it is a scabbe; and the man schal waische hise clothis, and he schal be clene.

7. അവന് ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്നായി തന്നെത്താന് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിച്ചശേഷം ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് അധികമായി പരന്നാല് അവന് പിന്നെയും തന്നെത്താന് പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

7. That if the lepre wexith eft, aftir that he is seyn of the preest, and is yoldun to clennesse, he schal be brouyt to the preest, and schal be demed of vnclennesse.

8. ചുണങ്ങു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കുന്നു എന്നു പുരോഹിതന് കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

8. If the wounde of lepre is in man, he schal be brouyt to the preest, and he schal se the man;

9. കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഒരു മനുഷ്യനില് ഉണ്ടായാല് അവനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

9. and whanne whijt colour is in the fleisch, and chaungith the siyt of heeris, and thilke fleisch apperith quyk,

10. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; ത്വക്കിന്മേല് വെളുത്ത തിണര്പ്പുണ്ടായിരിക്കയും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തിരിക്കയും തിണര്പ്പില് പച്ചമാംസത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

10. it schal be demid eldest lepre, and growun to the skyn; therfor the preest schal defoule hym,

11. അതു അവന്റെ ത്വക്കില് പഴകിയ കുഷ്ഠം ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് അശുദ്ധനാകകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കരുതു.

11. and he schal not close eft, for it is of opyn vnclennesse.

12. കുഷ്ഠം ത്വക്കില് അധികമായി പരന്നു രോഗിയുടെ തലതൊട്ടു കാല്വരെ പുരോഹിതന് കാണുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും വടു ത്വക്കില് ആസകലം മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം;

12. But if lepre rennynge about in the skyn `flourith out, and hilith al the fleisch, fro the heed til to the feet, what euer thing fallith vndur the siyt of iyen; the preest schal biholde hym,

13. കുഷ്ഠം അവന്റെ ദേഹത്തെ മുഴുവനും മൂടിയിരുന്നാല് അവന് വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; ആസകാലം വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് ആകുന്നു.

13. and schal deme `that he is holdun with clenneste lepre, for all the skyn is turned in to whijtnesse, and therfor the man schal be cleene.

14. എന്നാല് പച്ചമാംസം അവനില് കണ്ടാല് അവന് അശുദ്ധന് .

14. Sotheli whanne quyk fleisch apperith in hym,

15. പുരോഹിതന് പച്ചമാംസം നോക്കി അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം. പച്ചമാംസം അശുദ്ധം; അതു കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

15. thanne he schal be defoulid bi the doom of the preest, and he schal be arettid among vncleene men; for quyk fleisch is vnclene, if it is spreynt with lepre.

16. എന്നാല് പച്ചമാംസം മാറി വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നാല് അവന് പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരേണം.

16. That if the fleisch is turned eft in to whijtnesse, and hilith al the man,

17. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; വടു വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു എങ്കില് പുരോഹിതന് വടുവുള്ളവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

17. the preest schal biholde hym, and schal deme, that he is cleene.

18. ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് പരുവുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടു

18. Fleisch and skyn, in which a botche is bred,

19. സൌഖ്യമായ ശേഷം പരുവിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു വെളുത്ത തിണര്പ്പോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെളുത്ത പുള്ളിയോ ഉണ്ടായാല് അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

19. and is heelid, and `a step of wounde apperith whijt, ethir `sum deel reed, `in the place of the botche, the man schal be brouyt to the preest;

20. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞതും അതിലെ രോമം വെളുത്തതുമായി കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പരുവില്നിന്നുണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം.

20. and whanne the preest seeth the place of lepre lowere than the tother fleisch, and the heeris turned in to whijtnesse, the preest schal defoule hym; for the wounde of lepre is bred in the botche.

21. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അതുനോക്കി അതില് വെളുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

21. That if the heer is of the former colour, and the signe of wounde is sumdeel derk, and is not lowere than the `nyy fleisch, the preest schal close the man seuene daies;

22. അതു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് അധികം പരന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

22. and sotheli, if it wexith, the preest schal deme the man of lepre;

23. എന്നാല് വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നിന്നു എങ്കില് അതു പരുവിന്റെ വടു അത്രേ. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

23. forsothe if it stondith in his place, it is a signe of botche, and the man schal be cleene.

24. അല്ലെങ്കില് ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് തീപ്പൊള്ളല് ഉണ്ടായി പൊള്ളലിന്റെ വടു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തോ വെളുത്ത തന്നേയോ ഇരിക്കുന്ന പുള്ളി ആയി തീര്ന്നാല്

24. Fleisch and skyn, which the fier hath brent, and is heelid, and hath a whijt ethir reed `signe of wounde,

25. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; പുള്ളിയിലെ രോമം വെള്ളയായി തീര്ന്നു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞുകണ്ടാല് പൊള്ളലില് ഉണ്ടായ കുഷ്ഠം; ആകയാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

25. the preest schal biholde it, and lo! if it is turned in to whijtnesse, and the place therof is lowere than the tothir skyn, the preest schal defoule the man, for a wounde of lepre is bred in the `signe of wounde.

26. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കീട്ടു പുള്ളിയില് വെളുത്തരോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും നിറം മങ്ങിയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

26. That if the colour of heeris is not chaungid, nether the wounde is lowere than the tother fleisch, and thilke spice of lepre is sumdeel derk, the preest schal close the man bi seuene daies;

27. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണംഅതു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നിരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം തന്നേ.

27. and in the seuenthe dai he schal biholde; if the lepre wexith in the fleisch, the preest schal defoule the man;

28. എന്നാല് പുള്ളി ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെ, കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നില്ക്കയും നിറം മങ്ങിയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പു ആകുന്നു; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു തീപ്പൊള്ളലിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പത്രേ.

28. ellis if the whijtnesse stondith in his place, and is not cleer ynow, it is a wounde of brennyng, and therfor the man schal be clensid, for it is a signe of brennyng.

29. ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു എങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്ത്രിക്കു എങ്കിലും തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഒരു വടു ഉണ്ടായാല് പുരോഹിതന് വടു നോക്കേണം.

29. A man ethir womman, in whos heed ether beerd lepre buriounneth, the preest schal se hem;

30. അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞും അതില് പൊന് നിറമായ നേര്മ്മയുള്ള രോമം ഉള്ളതായും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അതു പുറ്റാകുന്നു; തലയിലോ താടിയിലോ ഉള്ള കുഷ്ഠം തന്നേ.

30. and if the place is lowere than the tothir fleisch, and the heer is whijt, `and is sotilere, `ether smallere, than it is wont, the preest schal defoule hem, for it is lepre of the heed, and of the beerd.

31. പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റിന്റെ വടുവിനെ നോക്കുമ്പോള് അതു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും അതില് കറുത്ത രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും കണ്ടാല് പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റുവടുവുള്ളവനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

31. Ellis if he seeth the place of wem euene with the nyy fleisch, and seeth the here blak, the preest schal close hem bi seuene daies, and schal se in the seuenthe dai;

32. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു പരക്കാതെയും അതില് പൊന് നിറമുള്ള രോമം ഇല്ലാതെയും പുറ്റിന്റെ കാഴ്ച ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അവന് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിക്കേണം;

32. if the wem waxith not, and the heer is of his colour, and the place of wounde is euene with the tother fleisch,

33. എന്നാല് പുറ്റില് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യരുതു; പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റുള്ളവനെ പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്താക്കി അടെക്കേണം.

33. the man schal be schauun, without the place of wem, and he schal be closid eft bi seuene othere daies.

34. ഏഴാം ദിവസം പുരോഹിതന് പുറ്റു നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരക്കാതെയും കാഴ്ചെക്കു ത്വക്കിനെക്കാള് കുഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കേണം.

34. If in the seuenthe day the wounde is seyn to haue stonde in his place, nether is lowere than the tother fleisch, the preest schal clense the man; and whanne his clothis ben waischun, he schal be cleene.

35. എന്നാല് അവന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നാല്

35. Ellis if aftir the clensyng a spotte wexith eft in the skyn,

36. പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ നോക്കേണം; പുറ്റു ത്വക്കിന്മേല് പരന്നിരുന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് പൊന് നിറമുള്ള രോമം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ.

36. the preest schal no more enquere, whether the heer is chaungid in to whijt colour, for apeertli he is vncleene.

37. എന്നാല് പുറ്റു കണ്ട നിലയില് തന്നേ നിലക്കുന്നതായും അതില് കറുത്ത രോമം മുളെച്ചതായും കണ്ടാല് പുറ്റു സൌഖ്യമായി; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് ; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനെന്നു വിധിക്കേണം.

37. Sotheli if the spotte stondith, and the heeris ben blake, knowe the preest that the man is heelid, and tristili `pronounce he the man cleene.

38. ഒരു പുരുഷന്നോ സ്ത്രീക്കോ ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് വെളുത്ത പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാല്

38. A man ethir a womman, in whos skyn whijtnesse apperith, the preest schal biholde hem;

39. പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ത്വക്കില് മങ്ങിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളി ഉണ്ടായാല് അതു ത്വക്കില് ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ചുണങ്ങു; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

39. if he perseyueth, that whijtnesse `sum deel derk schyneth in the skyn, wite he, that it is no lepre, but a spotte of whijt colour, and that the man is cleene.

40. തലമുടി കൊഴിഞ്ഞവനോ കഷണ്ടിക്കാരനത്രേ; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

40. A man of whos heed heeris fleten awei, is calu, and clene;

41. തലയില് മുന് വശത്തെ രോമം കൊഴിഞ്ഞവന് മുന് കഷണ്ടിക്കാരന് ; അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് .

41. and if heeris fallen fro the forheed, he is ballid,

42. പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടിയ വെള്ളപ്പുള്ളിയുണ്ടായാല് അതു അവന്റെ പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ഉത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന കുഷ്ടം.

42. and is cleene; ellis if in the ballidnesse bifore, ether in the ballidnesse bihynde, whijt ether reed colour is bred, and the preest seeth this,

43. പുരോഹിതന് അതു നോക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പിന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ മുന് കഷണ്ടിയിലോ ത്വക്കില് കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ വടുവിന്റെ തിണര്പ്പു ചുവപ്പോടുകൂടി വെളുത്തതായിരുന്നാല് അവന് കുഷ്ഠരോഗി;

43. he schal condempne the man without doute of lepre, which is bred in the ballidnesse.

44. അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ; പുരോഹിതന് അവനെ അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു തീര്ത്തു വിധിക്കേണം; അവന്നു തലയില് കുഷ്ഠരോഗം ഉണ്ടു.

44. Therfor whoeuer is defoulid with lepre, and is departid at the doom of the preest,

45. വടുവുള്ള കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയുടെ വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കളയേണംഅവന്റെ തല മൂടാതിരിക്കേണം; അവന് അധരം മൂടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയും അശുദ്ധന് അശുദ്ധന് എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറകയും വേണം.

45. he schal haue hise clothis vnsewid, bareheed, the mouth hilid with a cloth, he schal crye hym silf defoulid, and viyl;

46. അവന്നു രോഗം ഉള്ള നാള് ഒക്കെയും അവന് അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് തന്നേ; അവന് തനിച്ചു പാര്ക്കേണം; അവന്റെ പാര്പ്പു പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

47. A wollun cloth, ethir lynnun, that hath lepre in the warp,

48. ചണംകൊണ്ടോ ആട്ടുരോമംകൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള പാവില് എങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും തോല് കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു സാധനത്തില് എങ്കിലും

48. ethir oof, ethir certis a skyn, ether what euer thing is maad of skiyn,

49. കുഷ്ഠത്തിന്റെ വടുവായി വസ്ത്രത്തില് എങ്കിലും തോലിലെങ്കിലും പാവിലെങ്കിലും ഊടയിലെങ്കിലും തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലെങ്കിലും വടു ഇളമ്പച്ചയോ ഇളഞ്ചുവപ്പോ ആയിരുന്നാല് അതു കുഷ്ഠലക്ഷണം ആകുന്നു; അതു പുരോഹിതനെ കാണിക്കേണം.

49. if it is corrupt with a whijt spotte, ethir reed, it schal be arettid lepre, and it schal be schewid to the preest;

50. പുരോഹിതന് വടുനോക്കി വടുവുള്ളതിനെ ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

50. which schal close it biholden bi seuene daies.

51. അവന് ഏഴാം ദിവസം വടുവിനെ നോക്കേണം; വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോലിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യാതൊരു പണിയിലോ വടു പരന്നിരുന്നാല് ആ വടു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു അശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു.

51. And eft he schal biholde in the seuenthe dai, and if he perseyueth, that it wexide, it schal be contynuel lepre; he schal deme the cloth defoulid, and al thing in which it is foundun;

52. വടുവുള്ള സാധനം ആട്ടിന് രോമംകൊണ്ടോ ചണം കൊണ്ടോ ഉള്ള വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള എന്തെങ്കിലുമോ ആയിരുന്നാലും അതു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു കഠിന കുഷ്ഠം; അതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

52. and therfor the cloth schal be brent in flawmes.

53. എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; വടു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ പരന്നിട്ടില്ല എങ്കില്

54. പുരോഹിതന് വടുവുള്ള സാധനം കഴുകുവാന് കല്പിക്കേണം; അതു പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസത്തേക്കു അകത്തിട്ടു അടെക്കേണം.

55. കഴുകിയശേഷം പുരോഹിതന് വടു നോക്കേണംവടു നിറം മാറാതെയും പരക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അതു അശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; അതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അതു അതിന്റെ അകത്തോ പുറത്തോ തിന്നെടുക്കുന്ന വ്രണം.

56. പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതന് നോക്കേണം; കഴുകിയശേഷം വടുവിന്റെ നിറം മങ്ങി എങ്കില് അവന് അതിനെ വസ്ത്രത്തില്നിന്നോ തോലില്നിന്നോ പാവില്നിന്നോ ഊടയില്നിന്നോ കീറിക്കളയേണം.

57. അതു വസ്ത്രത്തിലോ പാവിലോ ഊടയിലോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനത്തിലോ കാണുന്നു എങ്കില് അതു പടരുന്നതാകുന്നു; വടുവുള്ളതു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

58. എന്നാല് വസ്ത്രമോ പാവോ ഊടയോ തോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള യാതൊരു സാധനമോ കഴുകിയശേഷം വടു അവയില് നിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോയി എങ്കില് അതിനെ രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം കഴുകേണം; അപ്പോള് അതു ശുദ്ധമാകും.
