1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു;

2. Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, I am LORD your God.

3. നിങ്ങള് പാര്ത്തിരുന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് നടക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന കനാന് ദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെയും അരുതു; അവരുടെ മര്യാദ ആചരിക്കരുതു.

3. Ye shall not do after the doings of the land of Egypt, in which ye dwelt, and ye shall not do after the doings of the land of Canaan, where I bring you, nor shall ye walk in their statutes.

4. എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

4. Ye shall do my ordinances, and ye shall keep my statutes, to walk therein. I am LORD your God.

5. ആകയാല് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും ന്യായങ്ങളും നിങ്ങള് പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് അവയാല് ജീവിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

5. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am LORD.

6. നിങ്ങളില് ആരും തനിക്കു രക്തസംബന്ധമുള്ള യാതൊരുത്തരുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവരോടു അടുക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

6. None of you shall approach to any who are near of kin to him, to uncover nakedness. I am LORD.

7. നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയും അമ്മയുടെ നഗ്നതയും അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. അവള് നിന്റെ അമ്മയാകുന്നു; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

7. The nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, thou shall not uncover. She is thy mother. Thou shall not uncover her nakedness,

8. the nakedness of thy father's wife. It is thy father's nakedness.

9. അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; വീട്ടില് ജനിച്ചവരായാലും പുറമെ ജനിച്ചവരായാലും അവരുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

9. The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover.

10. നിന്റെ മകന്റെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ മകളുടെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നഗ്നത നിന്റേതു തന്നേയല്ലോ.

10. The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover, for theirs is thine own nakedness.

11. നിന്റെ അപ്പന്നു ജനിച്ചവളും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ മകളുമായവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയല്ലോ.

11. The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shall not uncover her nakedness.

12. അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് അപ്പന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

12. Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister. She is thy father's near kinswoman.

13. അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

13. Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.

14. അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടു അടുക്കയുമരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ ഇളയമ്മയല്ലോ.

14. Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother. Thou shall not approach to his wife. She is thine aunt.

15. നിന്റെ മരുമകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവള് നിന്റെ മകന്റെ ഭാര്യ അല്ലോ; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

15. Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law. She is thy son's wife. Thou shall not uncover her nakedness.

16. സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ.

16. Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife. It is thy brother's nakedness.

17. ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെയും അവളുടെ മകളുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവളുടെ മകന്റെയോ മകളുടെയോ മകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവരെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതുഅവര് അടുത്ത ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരല്ലോ; അതു ദുഷ്കര്മ്മം.

17. Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. Thou shall not take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is iniquity.

18. ഭാര്യ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവളെ ദുഃഖീപ്പിപ്പാന് അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളെ കൂടെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു.

18. And thou shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.

19. ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഋതു നിമിത്തം അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

19. And thou shall not approach to a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.

20. കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അവളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു.

20. And thou shall not lay carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her.

21. നിന്റെ സന്തതിയില് ഒന്നിനെയും മോലേക്കിന്നു അര്പ്പിച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

21. And thou shall not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech, neither shall thou profane the name of thy God. I am LORD.

22. സ്ത്രീയോടു എന്നപോലെ പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കരുതു; അതു മ്ളേച്ഛത.

22. Thou shall not lay with mankind, as with womankind. It is abomination.

23. യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അതിനാല് നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു; യാതൊരു സ്ത്രീയും ഒരു മൃഗത്തോടും കൂടെ ശയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നില്ക്കയും അരുതു; അതു നികൃഷ്ടം.

23. And thou shall not lay with any beast to defile thyself with it, nor shall any woman stand before a beast, to lay down with it. It is a perversion.

24. ഇവയില് ഒന്നുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്ന ജാതികള് ഇവയാല് ഒക്കെയും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. Do not defile ye yourselves in any of these things. For in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you,

25. ദേശവും അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീര്ന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേല് സന്ദര്ശിക്കുന്നു; ദേശം തന്റെ നിവാസികളെ ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

25. and the land is defiled. Therefore I visit the iniquity of it upon it, and the land vomits out her inhabitants.

26. ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛത ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ ആ ദേശത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യര് ചെയ്തു, ദേശം അശുദ്ധമായി തീര്ന്നു

26. Ye therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations, neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourns among you,

27. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജാതികളെ ദേശം ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളെയും ഛര്ദ്ദിച്ചുകളയാതിരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കേണം;

27. (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and the land is defiled),

28. ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളില് യാതൊന്നും സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്യരുതു.

28. that the land not vomit you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

29. ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളിലും ഏതെങ്കിലും ചെയ്താല് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അവരുടെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

29. For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.

30. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ നടന്ന ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛമര്യാദകളില് യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും അവയാല് അശുദ്ധരാകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

30. Therefore ye shall keep my charge, that ye not practice any of these abominable customs, which were practiced before you, and that ye not defile yourselves in it. I am LORD your God.
