1. ഞാന് പിന്നെയും തല പൊക്കി നോക്കിയപ്പോള്, കയ്യില് അളവുനൂല് പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നോരു പുരുഷനെ കണ്ടു.

1. Then, raising my eyes, I had a vision. It was this: There were four horns.

2. നീ എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവന് ഞാന് യെരൂശലേമിനെ അളന്നു അതിന്റെ വീതി എന്തെന്നും നീളം എന്തെന്നും നോക്കുവാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. I said to the angel who was talking to me, 'What are these?' He said to me, 'These are the horns which scattered Judah (Israel) and Jerusalem.'

3. എന്നാല് എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതന് പുറത്തുവന്നു; അവനെ എതിരേല്പാന് മറ്റൊരു ദൂതനും പുറത്തുവന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു

3. Yahweh then showed me four smiths.

4. നീ വേഗം ചെന്നു ഈ ബാല്യക്കാരനോടു സംസാരിച്ചുയെരൂശലേം അതിലെ മനുഷ്യരുടെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും ബഹുത്വംനിമിത്തം മതിലില്ലാതെ തുറന്നുകിടക്കും എന്നു പറക.

4. And I said, 'What are these coming to do?' He said to me, '(Those horns scattered Judah so completely that no one dared to raise his head; but) these have come to terrify them, to throw down the horns of the nations who raised their horns over the land of Judah to scatter it.'

5. എന്നാല് ഞാന് അതിന്നു ചുറ്റും തീമതിലായിരിക്കും; ഞാന് അതിന്റെ നടുവില് മഹത്വമായിരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

5. Then, raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a man with a measuring line in his hand.

6. ഹേ, ഹേ, വടക്കെ ദേശം വിട്ടോടുവിന് ! എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ആകാശത്തിന്റെ നാലു കാറ്റുപോലെ ചിതറിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

6. I asked him, 'Where are you going?' He said, 'To measure Jerusalem, to calculate her width and length.'

7. ഹേ, ബാബേല് പുത്രിയുടെ അടുക്കല് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന സീയോനേ, ചാടിപ്പോക.

7. And then, while the angel who was talking to me walked away, another angel came out to meet him.

8. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങളോടു കവര്ച്ച ചെയ്ത ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കല് അവന് എന്നെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നായി അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളെ തൊടുന്നവന് അവന്റെ കണ്മണിയെ തൊടുന്നു.

8. He said to him, 'Run, and tell that young man this, 'Jerusalem is to remain unwalled, because of the great number of men and cattle inside.

9. ഞാന് അവരുടെ നേരെ കൈ കുലുക്കും; അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ദാസന്മാര്ക്കും കവര്ച്ചയായ്തീരും; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറികയും ചെയ്യും.

9. For I -- Yahweh declares -- shall be a wall of fire all round her and I shall be the Glory within her.' '

10. സീയോന് പുത്രിയേ, ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്ക; ഇതാ, ഞാന് വരുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ വസിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

10. Look out! Look out! Flee from the land of the north -- Yahweh declares- for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven -- Yahweh declares.

11. അന്നാളില് പല ജാതികളും യഹോവയോടു ചേര്ന്നു എനിക്കു ജനമായ്തീരും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ വസിക്കും; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നീ അറികയും ചെയ്യും.

11. Look out! Make your escape, Zion, now living with the daughter of Babylon!

12. യഹോവ വിശുദ്ധദേശത്തു യെഹൂദയെ തന്റെ ഔഹരിയായി കൈവശമാക്കുകയും യെരൂശലേമിനെ വീണ്ടും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

12. For Yahweh Sabaoth says this, since the Glory commissioned me, about the nations who plundered you, 'Whoever touches you touches the apple of my eye.

13. സകലജഡവുമായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പില് മിണ്ടാതിരിപ്പിന് ; അവന് തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനിവാസത്തില്നിന്നു എഴുന്നരുളിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. Now look, I shall wave my hand over them and they will be plundered by those whom they have enslaved.' Then you will know that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me!

14. ഞാന് തല പൊക്കി നോക്കിയപ്പോള് നാലു കൊമ്പു കണ്ടു.

14. Sing, rejoice, daughter of Zion, for now I am coming to live among you -Yahweh declares!

15. എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതനോടുഇവ എന്താകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവന് എന്നോടുഇവ യെഹൂദയെയും യിസ്രായേലിനെയും യെരൂശലേമിനെയും ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ കൊമ്പുകള് എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

15. And on that day many nations will be converted to Yahweh. Yes, they will become his people, and they will live among you. Then you will know that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you!

16. യഹോവ എനിക്കു നാലു കൊല്ലന്മാരെ കാണിച്ചുതന്നു.

16. Yahweh will take possession of Judah, his portion in the Holy Land, and again make Jerusalem his choice.

17. ഇവര് എന്തുചെയ്വാന് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവന് ആരും തല ഉയര്ത്താതവണ്ണം യെഹൂദയെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ കൊമ്പുകളാകുന്നു അവ; ഇവരോ യെഹൂദാദേശത്തെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊമ്പുയര്ത്തിയ ജാതികളുടെ കൊമ്പുകളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടു അവരെ പേടിപ്പിപ്പാന് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

17. Let all people be silent before Yahweh, now that he is stirring from his holy Dwelling!
