1. പിന്നെ അവന് ഉപമകളാല് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങിയതുഒരു മനുഷ്യന് ഒരു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി ചുറ്റും വേലികെട്ടി ചക്കും കുഴിച്ചുനാട്ടി ഗോപുരവും പണിതു കുടിയാന്മാരെ ഏല്പിച്ചിട്ടു പരദേശത്തു പോയി.
യെശയ്യാ 5:1-7

1. And he beganne to speake vnto them by parables: A certayne ma planted a vynyarde, and made a hedge aboute it, and dygged a wynne presse, and buylded a tower, and let it out vnto hussbande men, and wente in to a straunge countre.

2. കാലം ആയപ്പോള് കുടിയാന്മാരോടു തോട്ടത്തിന്റെ അനുഭവം വാങ്ങേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് ഒരു ദാസനെ കുടിയാന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കല് പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

2. And whan the tyme was come, he sent a seruaut to the hussbande men, that he might receaue of the hussbandmen, of the frute of the vynyarde.

3. അവര് അവനെ പിടിച്ചു തല്ലി വെറുതെ അയച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

3. But they toke him, and bet him, and sent him awaye emptye.

4. പിന്നെ മറ്റൊരു ദാസനെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു; അവനെ അവര് തലയില് മുറിവേല്പിക്കയും അവമാനിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

4. Agayne, he sent vnto them another seruaunt, whom they stoned, and brake his heade, and sent him awaye shamefully dealt withall.

5. അവന് മറ്റൊരുവനെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു; അവനെ അവര് കൊന്നു; മറ്റു പലരെയും ചിലരെ അടിക്കയും ചിലരെ കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു.

5. Agayne he sent another, whom they slew, and many other: some they bett, and some they put to death.

6. അവന്നു ഇനി ഒരുത്തന് , ഒരു പ്രിയമകന് , ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്റെ മകനെ അവര് ശങ്കിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ഒടുക്കം അവനെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

6. Then had he yet one sonne onely, whom he loued, him he sent also vnto them at the last, and sayde: they wyl stonde in awe of my sonne.

7. ആ കുടിയാന്മാരോഇവന് അവകാശി ആകുന്നു; വരുവിന് ; നാം ഇവനെ കൊല്ലുക; എന്നാല് അവകാശം നമുക്കാകും എന്നു തമ്മില് പറഞ്ഞു.

7. But the same hussbandmen sayde amonge them selues: This is the heyre, Come, let vs kyll him, so shal the inheritaunce be ours.

8. അവര് അവനെ പിടിച്ചു കൊന്നു തോട്ടത്തില് നിന്നു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു.

8. And they toke him, and slewe him, and cast him out of the vynyarde.

9. എന്നാല് തോട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഉടയവന് എന്തു ചെയ്യും? അവന് വന്നു ആ കുടിയാന്മാരെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു തോട്ടം മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ഏല്പിക്കും.

9. What shal now the lorde of the vynyarde do? He shal come and destroye the hussbande men, and geue the vynyarde vnto other.

10. “വീടു പണിയുന്നവര് തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞ കല്ലു മൂലക്കല്ലായിതീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.”

10. Haue ye not red this scripture: The same stone which the buylders refused, is become the headstone in the corner?

11. “ഇതു കര്ത്താവിനാല് സംഭവിച്ചു. നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയില് ആശ്ചര്യ്യവുമായിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന തിരുവെഴുത്തു നിങ്ങള് വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?

11. This was the LORDES doynge, and it is maruelous in oure eyes.

12. And they wente aboute to take him (but they feared the people) for they perceaued, that he had spoke this parable agaynst the. And they left him, and wente their waye.

13. അനന്തരം അവനെ വാക്കില് കുടുക്കുവാന് വേണ്ടി അവര് പരീശന്മാരിലും ഹെരോദ്യരിലും ചിലരെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് അയച്ചു.

13. And they sent vnto him certayne of the Pharises and Herodes officers to take him in his wordes.

14. അവര് വന്നുഗുരോ, നീ മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുഖം നോക്കാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി നേരായി പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ സത്യവാനും ആരെയും ഗണ്യമാക്കാത്തവനും എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നു; കൈസര്ക്കും കരം കൊടുക്കുന്നതു വിഹിതമോ അല്ലയോ? ഞങ്ങള് കൊടുക്കയോ കൊടുക്കാതിരിക്കയോ വേണ്ടതു എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

14. And they came, and sayde vnto hi: Master, we knowe that thou art true and carest for no man. For thou regardest not the outwarde appearaunce of men, but teachest ye waye of God truly. Is it laufull to geue tribute vnto the Emperoure, or not?

15. അവന് അവരുടെ കപടം അറിഞ്ഞുനിങ്ങള് എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? ഒരു വെള്ളിക്കാശ് കൊണ്ടുവരുവിന് ; ഞാന് കാണട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

15. Ought we to geue it, or ought we not to geue it? But he perceaued their ypocrisye, and sayde vnto them: Why tempte ye me? Brynge me a peny, that I maye se it.

16. അവര് കൊണ്ടു വന്നു. ഈ സ്വരൂപവും മേലെഴുത്തും ആരുടേതു എന്നു അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുകൈസരുടേതു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

16. And they brought it him. Then sayde he: Whose ymage and superscripcion is this? They sayde vnto him: The Emperours.

17. യേശു അവരോടുകൈസര്ക്കുംള്ളതു കൈസര്ക്കും ദൈവത്തിനുള്ളതു ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളതു ദൈവത്തിന്നും കൊടുപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവര് അവങ്കല് വളരെ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.

17. Then answered Iesus and sayde vnto the: Geue therfore vnto the Emperoure that which is the Emperours, and vnto God that which is Gods. And they marueled at him.

18. പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയുന്ന സദൂക്യര് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു ചോദിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്

18. Then came vnto him the Saduces (which holde that there is no resurreccion) these axed him, and sayde:

19. ഗുരോ, ഒരുത്തന്റെ സഹോദരന് മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു ഭാര്യ ശേഷിച്ചാല് ആ ഭാര്യയെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന് പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു തന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു സന്തതിയെ ജനിപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു മോശെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. Master, Moses wrote vnto vs. Yf eny mans brother dye, and leaue a wife, and leaue no children, his brother shal take his wife, and rayse vp sede vnto his brother.

20. എന്നാല് ഏഴു സഹോദരന്മാര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരില് മൂത്തവന് ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു സന്തതിയില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു പോയി.

20. Now were there seuen brethren: the first toke a wife, and dyed, and left no sede:

21. രണ്ടാമത്തവന് അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു സന്തതിയില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു; മൂന്നാമത്തവനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ.

21. and the seconde toke her, and dyed, and left no sede also: the thirde in like maner.

22. ഏഴുവരും സന്തതിയില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു; എല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഒടുവില് സ്ത്രീയും മരിച്ചു.

22. And they all seuen toke her, and left no sede. At the last after them all, the wyfe dyed also.

23. പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തില് അവള് അവരില് ഏവന്നു ഭാര്യയാകും? ഏഴുവര്ക്കും ഭാര്യ ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

23. Now in the resurreccion whan they shal ryse agayne, whose wife shal she be of them? For seuen had her to wife.

24. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളെയും ദൈവശക്തിയെയും അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടല്ലയോ തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നതു?

24. Then answered Iesus, and sayde vnto them: Do not ye erre? because ye knowe not the scryptures ner ye power of God?

25. മരിച്ചവരില് നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേലക്കുമ്പോള് വിവാഹം കഴിക്കയില്ല വിവാഹത്തിന്നു കൊടുക്കപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൂതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ആകും.

25. Whan they shal ryse agayne from the deed, they shal nether mary ner be maried, but they are as the angels in heauen.

26. എന്നാല് മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴു ന്നേലക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു മോശെയുടെ പുസ്തകത്തില് മുള്പടര്പ്പുഭാഗത്തു ദൈവം അവനോടുഞാന് അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവവും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തപ്രകാരം വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?

26. As touchinge the deed, that they shal ryse agayne, haue ye not red in the boke of Moses, how God spake vnto him in the bush, and sayde: I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, & the God of Iacob?

27. അവന് മരിച്ചവരുടെ ദൈവമല്ല, ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദൈവമത്രേ; നിങ്ങള് വളരെ തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു.

27. Yet is not God a God of the deed, but of the lyuynge. Therfore ye erre greatly.

28. ശാസ്ത്രിമാരില് ഒരുവന് അടുത്തുവന്നു അവര് തമ്മില് തര്ക്കിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടു അവന് അവരോടു നല്ലവണ്ണം ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞപ്രകാരം ബോധിച്ചിട്ടുഎല്ലാറ്റിലും മുഖ്യകല്പന ഏതു എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു യേശു

28. And there came vnto him one of the scrybes, that had herkened vnto the how they disputed together, and sawe that he had answered them well, and axed him: Which is the chefest comaundement of all?

29. എല്ലാറ്റിലും മുഖ്യകല്പനയോ“യിസ്രായേലേ, കേള്ക്ക; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവു ഏക കര്ത്താവു.

29. Iesus answered him: The chefest commaundemet of all commaundementes is this: Heare O Israel, the LORDE oure God is one God,

30. നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവിനെ നീ പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂര്ണ്ണാത്മാവോടും പൂര്ണ്ണമനസ്സോടും പൂര്ണ്ണശക്തിയോടും കൂടെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം, എന്നു ആകുന്നു.

30. and thou shalt loue the LORDE thy God with all thy hert, with all thy soule, with all thy mynde, and with all thy strength. This is the chefest commaundement,

31. രണ്ടാമത്തേതോ“കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം” എന്നത്രേ; ഇവയില് വലുതായിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു കല്പനയും എല്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

31. and the seconde is like vnto it: Thou shalt loue thy neghboure as thy self. There is none other greater commaundement then these.

33. and to loue him with all the hert, with all the mynde, with all the soule, and with all the strength, and to loue a mans neghboure as himself, is more then brent sacrifices and all offerynges.

34. അവന് ബുദ്ധിയോടെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു യേശു കണ്ടിട്ടുനീ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തോടു അകന്നവനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവനോടു ആരും ഒന്നും ചോദിപ്പാന് തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.

34. But wha Iesus sawe that he answered discretly, he sayde vnto him: Thou art not farre from the kyngdome of God. And after this durst no man axe him eny mo questions.

35. യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തില് ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങിയതുക്രിസ്തു ദാവീദിന്റെ പുത്രന് എന്നു ശാസ്ത്രിമാര് പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

35. And Iesus answered, and sayde, whan he taught in the temple: How saye the scrybes, yt Christ is the sonne of Dauid?

37. ദാവീദ് തന്നേ അവനെ കര്ത്താവു എന്നു പറയുന്നവല്ലോ; പിന്നെ അവന്റെ പുത്രന് ആകുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ? എന്നാല് വലിയ പുരുഷാരം അവന്റെ വാക്കു സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കേട്ടുപോന്നു.

37. There Dauid calleth him his LORDE. How is he the his sonne? And many people herde him gladly.

38. അവന് തന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തില് അവരോടുഅങ്കികളോടെ നടക്കുന്നതും അങ്ങാടിയില്

38. And he taught the, and sayde vnto the: Bewarre of the scrybes, that loue to go in longe garmentes, and loue to be saluted in the market,

39. വന്ദനവും പള്ളിയില് മുഖ്യാസനവും അത്താഴത്തില് പ്രധാനസ്ഥലവും ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന ശാസ്ത്രിമാരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

39. and syt gladly aboue in the synagoges and at the table:

40. അവര് വിധവമാരുടെ വീടുകളെ വിഴുങ്ങുകയും ഉപായത്താല് നീണ്ട പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവര്ക്കും ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ശിക്ഷാവിധി വരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

40. they deuoure wyddowes houses, and vnder a coloure they make longe prayers. These shal receaue the more damnacion.

41. പിന്നെ യേശു ശ്രീഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നു നേരെ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള് പുരുഷാരം ഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് പണം ഇടുന്നതു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ധനവാന്മാര് പലരും വളരെ ഇട്ടു.
2 രാജാക്കന്മാർ 12:9

41. And Iesus sat ouer agaynst the Gods chest, and behelde how the people put money in to the Godschest. And many that were riche: put in moch.

42. ദരിദ്രയായ ഒരു വിധവ വന്നു ഒരു പൈസകൂ ശരിയായ രണ്ടു കാശ് ഇട്ടു.

42. And there came a poore wyddowe, and put in two mytes, which make a farthinge.

43. അപ്പോള് അവന് ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ അടുക്കല് വിളിച്ചുഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് ഇട്ട എല്ലാവരെക്കാളും ഈ ദരിദ്രയായ വിധവ അധികം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

43. And he called vnto him his disciples, and sayde vnto them: Verely I saye vnto you: this poore wyddowe hath put more in ye Godschest, then all they that haue put in:

44. എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയില് നിന്നു ഇട്ടു; ഇവളോ തന്റെ ഇല്ലായ്മയില് നിന്നു തനിക്കുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും തന്റെ ഉപജീവനം മുഴുവനും ഇട്ടു എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

44. For they all haue put i of their superfluyte, but she of hir pouerte hath put in all that she had, euen hir whole lyuynge.
