യെശയ്യാ 5:1-7

1. And He began to speak to them in parables: 'A man planted a vineyard, and set a fence around it,' and dug a winevat, 'and built a tower.' And he rented it to vinedressers and went away. Isa. 5:1, 2

2. കാലം ആയപ്പോള് കുടിയാന്മാരോടു തോട്ടത്തിന്റെ അനുഭവം വാങ്ങേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് ഒരു ദാസനെ കുടിയാന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കല് പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

2. And at the season, he sent a slave to the vinedressers, that he might receive from the vinedressers the fruit of the vineyard.

3. But taking him, they beat him, and sent him away empty.

4. പിന്നെ മറ്റൊരു ദാസനെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു; അവനെ അവര് തലയില് മുറിവേല്പിക്കയും അവമാനിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

4. And again he sent to them another slave; stoning that one, they struck him in the head and sent him away, insulting him.

5. അവന് മറ്റൊരുവനെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു; അവനെ അവര് കൊന്നു; മറ്റു പലരെയും ചിലരെ അടിക്കയും ചിലരെ കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു.

5. And again, he sent another, and they killed that one; also many others, indeed beating these, and killing these.

6. അവന്നു ഇനി ഒരുത്തന് , ഒരു പ്രിയമകന് , ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്റെ മകനെ അവര് ശങ്കിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ഒടുക്കം അവനെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

6. Yet having one son, his own beloved, then he sent him to them also, last of all, saying, They will have respect for my son.

7. ആ കുടിയാന്മാരോഇവന് അവകാശി ആകുന്നു; വരുവിന് ; നാം ഇവനെ കൊല്ലുക; എന്നാല് അവകാശം നമുക്കാകും എന്നു തമ്മില് പറഞ്ഞു.

7. But these vinedressers said to themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him and the inheritance will be ours.

8. അവര് അവനെ പിടിച്ചു കൊന്നു തോട്ടത്തില് നിന്നു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു.

8. And taking him, they killed him and threw him outside the vineyard.

9. എന്നാല് തോട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഉടയവന് എന്തു ചെയ്യും? അവന് വന്നു ആ കുടിയാന്മാരെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു തോട്ടം മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ഏല്പിക്കും.

9. What, then, will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and will destroy the vinedressers and will give the vineyard to others.

12. And they sought to seize Him, yet feared the crowd. For they knew that He spoke the parable against them. And leaving Him, they went away.

13. And they sent some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians to Him, that they might catch Him in a word.

14. അവര് വന്നുഗുരോ, നീ മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുഖം നോക്കാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി നേരായി പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ സത്യവാനും ആരെയും ഗണ്യമാക്കാത്തവനും എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നു; കൈസര്ക്കും കരം കൊടുക്കുന്നതു വിഹിതമോ അല്ലയോ? ഞങ്ങള് കൊടുക്കയോ കൊടുക്കാതിരിക്കയോ വേണ്ടതു എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

14. And coming, they said to Him, Teacher, we know that You are true, and there is not a care to You about anyone, for You do not look to the face of men, but teach on the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

15. അവന് അവരുടെ കപടം അറിഞ്ഞുനിങ്ങള് എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? ഒരു വെള്ളിക്കാശ് കൊണ്ടുവരുവിന് ; ഞാന് കാണട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

15. Should we give, or should we not give? But knowing their hypocrisy, He said to them, Why do you tempt Me? Bring Me a denarius that I may see.

16. And they brought one. And He said to them, Whose image and inscription is this? And they said to Him, Caesar's.

17. യേശു അവരോടുകൈസര്ക്കുംള്ളതു കൈസര്ക്കും ദൈവത്തിനുള്ളതു ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളതു ദൈവത്തിന്നും കൊടുപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവര് അവങ്കല് വളരെ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.

17. And answering, Jesus said to them, Give back the things of Caesar to Caesar, and the things of God to God. And they marveled at Him.

18. പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയുന്ന സദൂക്യര് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു ചോദിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്

18. And Sadducees came to Him, who say there is no resurrection. And they questioned Him, saying,

19. ഗുരോ, ഒരുത്തന്റെ സഹോദരന് മക്കളില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു ഭാര്യ ശേഷിച്ചാല് ആ ഭാര്യയെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന് പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു തന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു സന്തതിയെ ജനിപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു മോശെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a brother of anyone should die and leave behind a wife, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up seed to his brother. Deut. 25:5

20. എന്നാല് ഏഴു സഹോദരന്മാര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരില് മൂത്തവന് ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു സന്തതിയില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു പോയി.

20. Then there were seven brothers. And the first took a wife, and dying, he left no seed.

21. രണ്ടാമത്തവന് അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു സന്തതിയില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചു; മൂന്നാമത്തവനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ.

21. And the second took her, and died, and neither did he leave seed; and the third likewise.

22. And all seven took her and left no seed. Last of all the woman also died.

23. പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തില് അവള് അവരില് ഏവന്നു ഭാര്യയാകും? ഏഴുവര്ക്കും ഭാര്യ ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

23. Then in the resurrection, when they rise again, of which of them will she be the wife? For the seven had her as wife.

24. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളെയും ദൈവശക്തിയെയും അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടല്ലയോ തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നതു?

24. And answering, Jesus said to them, Do you not err because of this, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?

25. മരിച്ചവരില് നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേലക്കുമ്പോള് വിവാഹം കഴിക്കയില്ല വിവാഹത്തിന്നു കൊടുക്കപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൂതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ആകും.

25. For when they rise again from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in Heaven.

26. എന്നാല് മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴു ന്നേലക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു മോശെയുടെ പുസ്തകത്തില് മുള്പടര്പ്പുഭാഗത്തു ദൈവം അവനോടുഞാന് അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവവും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തപ്രകാരം വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?

26. But concerning the dead, that they are raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, as God spoke to him at the Bush, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? Ex. 3:6

27. അവന് മരിച്ചവരുടെ ദൈവമല്ല, ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദൈവമത്രേ; നിങ്ങള് വളരെ തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു.

27. He is not the God of the dead, but God of the living. Therefore, you greatly err.

28. ശാസ്ത്രിമാരില് ഒരുവന് അടുത്തുവന്നു അവര് തമ്മില് തര്ക്കിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടു അവന് അവരോടു നല്ലവണ്ണം ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞപ്രകാരം ബോധിച്ചിട്ടുഎല്ലാറ്റിലും മുഖ്യകല്പന ഏതു എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു യേശു

28. And coming up, one of the scribes, hearing them arguing, knowing that He answered them well, he questioned Him, What is the first commandment of all?

29. എല്ലാറ്റിലും മുഖ്യകല്പനയോ“യിസ്രായേലേ, കേള്ക്ക; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവു ഏക കര്ത്താവു.

29. And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord,

33. and to love Him from all the heart', and from all the understanding, 'and from all the soul, and from all the strength;' Deut. 6:4, 5 and 'to love one's neighbor as oneself' Lev. 19:18 is more than all the burnt offerings and the sacrifices.

34. അവന് ബുദ്ധിയോടെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു യേശു കണ്ടിട്ടുനീ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തോടു അകന്നവനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അവനോടു ആരും ഒന്നും ചോദിപ്പാന് തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.

34. And seeing that he answered intelligently, Jesus said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no one dared to question Him any more.

35. യേശു ദൈവാലയത്തില് ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങിയതുക്രിസ്തു ദാവീദിന്റെ പുത്രന് എന്നു ശാസ്ത്രിമാര് പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

35. And teaching in the temple, answering, Jesus said, How do the scribes say that Christ is the son of David?

37. ദാവീദ് തന്നേ അവനെ കര്ത്താവു എന്നു പറയുന്നവല്ലോ; പിന്നെ അവന്റെ പുത്രന് ആകുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ? എന്നാല് വലിയ പുരുഷാരം അവന്റെ വാക്കു സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കേട്ടുപോന്നു.

37. Then David himself calls Him Lord. And from where is He his son? And the large crowd heard Him gladly.

38. അവന് തന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തില് അവരോടുഅങ്കികളോടെ നടക്കുന്നതും അങ്ങാടിയില്

38. And He said to them in His teaching, Be careful of the scribes, those desiring to walk about in robes, and greetings in the markets,

39. വന്ദനവും പള്ളിയില് മുഖ്യാസനവും അത്താഴത്തില് പ്രധാനസ്ഥലവും ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന ശാസ്ത്രിമാരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

39. and chief seats in the synagogues, and chief couches in the dinners,

40. അവര് വിധവമാരുടെ വീടുകളെ വിഴുങ്ങുകയും ഉപായത്താല് നീണ്ട പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവര്ക്കും ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ശിക്ഷാവിധി വരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

40. those devouring the houses of widows, and for a pretense praying at length. These will receive more abundant judgment.

41. പിന്നെ യേശു ശ്രീഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നു നേരെ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള് പുരുഷാരം ഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് പണം ഇടുന്നതു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ധനവാന്മാര് പലരും വളരെ ഇട്ടു.
2 രാജാക്കന്മാർ 12:9

41. And sitting down opposite the treasury, Jesus watched how the crowd threw copper coins into the treasury. And many rich ones threw in much.

42. ദരിദ്രയായ ഒരു വിധവ വന്നു ഒരു പൈസകൂ ശരിയായ രണ്ടു കാശ് ഇട്ടു.

42. And coming, one poor widow threw in two lepta (which is a kodrantes).

43. അപ്പോള് അവന് ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ അടുക്കല് വിളിച്ചുഭണ്ഡാരത്തില് ഇട്ട എല്ലാവരെക്കാളും ഈ ദരിദ്രയായ വിധവ അധികം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

43. And having called His disciples near, He said to them, Truly I say to you that this poor widow has thrown in more than all of those casting into the treasury.

44. എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയില് നിന്നു ഇട്ടു; ഇവളോ തന്റെ ഇല്ലായ്മയില് നിന്നു തനിക്കുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും തന്റെ ഉപജീവനം മുഴുവനും ഇട്ടു എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

44. For all threw in out of that abounding to them, but she out of her poverty threw in all, as much as she had, her whole livelihood.
