1. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ആത്മികവരങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അറിവില്ലാതിരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

1. As concernynge spirituall giftes (brethren) I wolde not that ye were ignoraunt.

2. നിങ്ങള് ജാതികള് ആയിരുന്നപ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ നടത്തിയതുപോലെ ഊമവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് പോക പതിവായിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
ഹബക്കൂക്‍ 2:18-19

2. Ye knowe that ye were Heythe and wente youre wayes vnto dome Idols, eue as ye were led.

3. ആകയാല് ദൈവാത്മാവില് സംസാരിക്കുന്നവന് ആരും യേശു ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് എന്നു പറകയില്ല; പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവില് അല്ലാതെ യേശു കര്ത്താവു എന്നു പറവാന് ആര്ക്കും കഴികയുമില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ഗ്രഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

3. Wherfore I declare vnto you, that no man speakynge thorow the sprete of God, defyeth Iesus. And no man can saye that Iesus is the LORDE, but by the holy goost.

4. എന്നാല് കൃപാവരങ്ങളില് വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; ആത്മാവു ഒന്നത്രേ.

4. There are dyuerse giftes, yet but one sprete:

5. ശുശ്രൂഷകളില് വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; കര്ത്താവു ഒരുവന് .

5. and there are dyuerse offices, yet but one LORDE:

6. വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികളില് വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും എല്ലാവരിലും എല്ലാം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം ഒരുവന് തന്നേ.

6. and there are dyuerse operacions yet is there but one God, which worketh all in all.

7. എന്നാല് ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം പൊതുപ്രയോജനത്തിന്നായി നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു.

7. The giftes of the sprete are geuen vnto euery man to profit the cogregacion.

8. ഒരുത്തന്നു ആത്മാവിനാല് ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും മറ്റൊരുത്തന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാല് പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു;

8. To one is geuen thorow the sprete the vtteraunce of wissdome: to another is geuen the vtteraunce of knowlege acordinge to the same sprete:

9. വേറൊരുത്തന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാല് വിശ്വാസം, മറ്റൊരുവന്നു അതേ ആത്മാവിനാല് രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരം;

9. to another, faith in the same sprete: to another, the giftes of healinge in the same sprete:

10. മറ്റൊരുവന്നു വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികള്; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു പ്രവചനം; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു ആത്മാക്കളുടെ വിവേചനം; വേറൊരുവന്നു പലവിധ ഭാഷകള്; മറ്റൊരുവന്നു ഭാഷകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം.

10. to another, power to do miracles: to another, prophecienge: to another, iudgment to discerne spretes: to another, dyuerse tunges: to another, the interpretacion of tunges.

11. എന്നാല് ഇതു എല്ലാം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതു താന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ അവനവന്നു അതതു വരം പകുത്തുകൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരേ ആത്മാവു തന്നേ.

11. These all doth ye same onely sprete worke, and distributeth vnto euery man, acordinge as he will.

12. ശരീരം ഒന്നും, അതിന്നു അവയവം പലതും ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അവയവം പലതായിരിക്കെ എല്ലാം ഒരു ശരീരവും ആയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവും.

12. For as the body is one, and hath yet many membres, neuertheles all the membres of the body though they be many, are yet but one body: euen so Christ also.

13. യെഹൂദന്മാരോ യവനന്മാരോ ദാസന്മാരോ സ്വതന്ത്രരോ നാം എല്ലാവരും ഏകശരീരമാകുമാറു ഒരേ ആത്മാവില് സ്നാനം ഏറ്റും എല്ലാവരും ഒരേ ആത്മാവിനെ പാനംചെയ്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. For we are all baptysed in one sprete to be one body, whether we be Iewes or Gentyles, whether we be bonde or fre, and haue all dronke of one sprete.

14. ശരീരം ഒരു അവയവമല്ല പലതത്രേ.

14. For the body also is not one membre, but many.

15. ഞാന് കൈ അല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു കാല് പറയുന്നു എങ്കില് അതിനാല് അതു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു വരികയില്ല.

15. Yf the fote saye: I am not ye hande, therfore am I not a membre of the body,is he therfore not a membre of ye body?

16. ഞാന് കണ്ണു അല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നു ചെവി പറയുന്നു എങ്കില് അതിനാല് അതു ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നും വരികയില്ല.

16. And yf the eare saye: I am not the eye, therfore am I not a membre of the body, is he therfore not a membre of the body?

17. ശരീരം മുഴുവന് കണ്ണായാല് ശ്രവണം എവിടെ? മുഴുവന് ശ്രവണം ആയാല് ഘ്രാണം എവിടെ?

17. Yf all the body were an eye, where were then the hearinge? Yf all were hearinge, where then the smellinge?

18. ദൈവമോ തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം അവയവങ്ങളെ ശരീരത്തില് വെവ്വേറായി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

18. But now hath God set the membres, euery one seuerally in the body, as it hath pleased him.

19. സകലവും ഒരു അവയവം എങ്കില് ശരീരം എവിടെ?

19. Neuertheles yf all the mebres were one membre, where were then the body?

20. എന്നാല് അവയവങ്ങള് പലതെങ്കിലും ശരീരം ഒന്നു തന്നേ.

20. But now are the membres many, yet is the body but one.

21. കണ്ണിന്നു കയ്യോടുനിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നും, തലെക്കു കാലുകളോടുനിങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നുംപറഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.

21. The eye can not saye vnto the hande: I haue no nede of the: or agayne the heade vnto the fete, I haue no nede of you:

22. ശരീരത്തില് ബലം കുറഞ്ഞവ എന്നു തോന്നുന്ന അവയവങ്ങള് തന്നേ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവയാകുന്നു.

22. but rather a greate deale the mebres of the body which seme to be most feble, are most necessary:

23. ശരീരത്തില് മാനം കുറഞ്ഞവ എന്നു തോന്നുന്നവേക്കു നാം അധികം മാനം അണിയിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മില് അഴകു കുറഞ്ഞവേക്കു അധികം അഴകു വരുത്തുന്നു;

23. and vpon those membres of the body which we thinke least honest, put we most honestie on: and oure vncomly partes haue most beutye on.

24. നമ്മില് അഴകുള്ള അവയവങ്ങള്ക്കു അതു ആവശ്യമില്ലല്ലോ.

24. For oure honest membres neade it not. But God hath so measured ye body, and geuen most honoure vnto that mebre which had nede,

25. ശരീരത്തില് ഭിന്നത വരാതെ അവയവങ്ങള് അന്യോന്യം ഒരുപോലെ കരുതേണ്ടതിന്നായി ദൈവം കുറവുള്ളതിന്നു അധികം മാനം കൊടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. that there shulde be no stryfe in the body, but that the membres shulde indifferently care one for another. And yf one membre suffre, all the membres suffre with him:

26. അതിനാല് ഒരുഅവയവം കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് അവയവങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും കൂടെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു അവയവത്തിന്നു മാനം വന്നാല് അവയവങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയുംകൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.

26. and yf one membre be had in honoure, all the membres are glad with him also.

27. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരവും ഔരോരുത്തന് വെവ്വേറായി അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.

27. But ye are the body of Christ, and membres, euery one of another.

28. ദൈവം സഭയില് ഒന്നാമതു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര്, രണ്ടാമതു പ്രവാചകന്മാര് മൂന്നാമതു ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാര് ഇങ്ങനെ ഔരോരുത്തരെ നിയമിക്കയും പിന്നെ വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികള്, രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരം, സഹായം ചെയ്വാനുള്ള വരം, പരിപാലനവരം, വിവിധഭാഷാവരം എന്നിവ നലകുകയും ചെയ്തു.

28. And God hath ordeyned in the congregacion, first the Apostles, secodly prophetes, thirdly teachers, then doers of miracles, after that the giftes of healinge, helpers, gouerners, dyuerse tunges.

29. എല്ലാവരും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാരോ? എല്ലാവരും വീര്യ്യപ്രവൃത്തികള് ചെയ്യുന്നവരോ?

29. Are they all Apostles? Are they all prophetes? Are they all teachers? Are they all doers of miracles?

30. എല്ലാവര്ക്കും രോഗശാന്തിക്കുള്ള വരംഉണ്ടോ? എല്ലാവരും അന്യഭാഷകളില് സംസാരിക്കുന്നുവോ?

30. Haue they all the giftes of healinge? Speake they all with tunges? Can they all interprete?

31. എല്ലാവരും വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നുവോ? ശ്രേഷ്ഠവരങ്ങളെ വാഞ്ഛിപ്പിന് ; ഇനി അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠമായോരു മാര്ഗ്ഗം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരാം.

31. But covet ye the best giftes. And yet shewe I you a more excellent waye.
