1. കൂടാരമായ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഭൌമഭവനം അഴിഞ്ഞുപോയാല് കൈപ്പണിയല്ലാത്ത നിത്യഭവനമായി ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാനമായോരു കെട്ടിടം ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് ഉണ്ടെന്നു അറിയുന്നു.
ഇയ്യോബ് 4:19

1. For we knowe, that yf our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were destroyed, we haue a building of God, an habitation not made with handes, but eternall in heauen.

2. ഈ കൂടാരത്തില് ഞരങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള് നഗ്നരായിട്ടല്ല ഉടുപ്പുള്ളവരായിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില്

2. For therfore sygh we, desiryng to be clothed with our house whiche is from heauen:

3. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയമായ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാര്പ്പിടം അതിന്നു മീതെ ധരിപ്പാന് വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

3. So yet, yf that we be founde clothed, and not naked.

4. ഉരിവാനല്ല മര്ത്യമായതു ജീവനാല് നീങ്ങിപ്പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു മീതെ ഉടുപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കയാല് ഞങ്ങള് ഈ കൂടാരത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തോളം ഭാരപ്പെട്ടു ഞരങ്ങുന്നു.

4. For we that are in this tabernacle sigh, & being burdened because we would not be vnclothed, but would be clothed vpo, that mortalitie might be swalowed vp of lyfe.

5. അതിന്നായി ഞങ്ങളെ ഒരുക്കിയതു ആത്മാവിനെ അച്ചാരമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം തന്നേ.

5. He that hath ordeyned vs for this thyng [is] God, which hath also geuen vnto vs the earnest of the spirite.

6. ആകയാല് ഞങ്ങള് എല്ലായ്പോഴും ധൈര്യ്യപ്പെട്ടും ശരീരത്തില് വസിക്കുമ്പോള് ഒക്കെയും കര്ത്താവിനോടു അകന്നു പരദേശികള് ആയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നു.

6. Therfore we are alway of good cheare, and knowe, that as long as we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lorde.

7. കാഴ്ചയാല് അല്ല വിശ്വാസത്താലത്രേ ഞങ്ങള് നടക്കുന്നതു.

7. (For we walke by fayth, not after outwarde appearaunce.)

8. ഇങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങള് ധൈര്യ്യപ്പെട്ടു ശരീരം വിട്ടു കര്ത്താവിനോടുകൂടെ വസിപ്പാന് അധികം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു.

8. Neuerthelesse, we are of good comfort, and had rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lorde.

9. അതുകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തില് വസിച്ചാലും ശരീരം വിട്ടാലും ഞങ്ങള് അവനെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര് ആകുവാന് അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നു.

9. Wherfore, whether we be at home, or from home, we endeuour our selues to be accepted vnto hym.

10. അവനവന് ശരീരത്തില് ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള് ചെയ്തതു നല്ലതാകിലും തീയതാകിലും അതിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം എല്ലാവരും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ന്യായാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വെളിപ്പെടേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

10. For we must all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christe, that euery man may receaue the workes of his bodie according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

11. ആകയാല് കര്ത്താവിനെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യരെ സമ്മതിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സാക്ഷികളിലും വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് ആശിക്കുന്നു.

11. Seing then that we knowe the feare of the Lorde, we fare fayre with men: For we are knowen well enough vnto God. I trust also that we are knowen in your consciences.

12. ഞങ്ങള് പിന്നെയും ഞങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ നിങ്ങളോടു ശ്ളാഘിക്കയല്ല, ഹൃദയം നോക്കീട്ടല്ല, മുഖം നോക്കീട്ടു പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറവാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വക ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രശംസിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കാരണം തരികയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു.

12. For we prayse not our selues agayne vnto you, but geue you an occasion to reioyce of vs, that ye may haue somwhat agaynst them which reioyce in the face, and not in the heart.

13. ഞങ്ങള് വിവശന്മാര് എന്നുവരികില് ദൈവത്തിന്നും സുബോധമുള്ളവര് എന്നു വരികില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കും ആകുന്നു.

13. For yf we be to feruent, to God are we to feruent: Or yf we kepe measure, for your cause kepe we measure.

14. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സ്നേഹം ഞങ്ങളെ നിര്ബന്ധിക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഒരുവന് മരിച്ചിരിക്കെ എല്ലാവരും മരിച്ചു എന്നും

14. For the loue of Christe constrayneth vs, because we thus iudge, that yf one dyed for all, then were all dead.

15. ജീവിക്കുന്നവര് ഇനി തങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടല്ല തങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി മരിച്ചു ഉയിര്ത്തവന്നായിട്ടു തന്നേ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി മരിച്ചു എന്നും ഞങ്ങള് നിര്ണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. And he dyed for all, that they which lyue, shoulde not hencefoorth lyue vnto them selues, but vnto hym which dyed for them, and rose agayne.

16. ആകയാല് ഞങ്ങള് ഇന്നുമുതല് ആരെയും ജഡപ്രകാരം അറിയുന്നില്ല; ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ജഡപ്രകാരം അറിഞ്ഞു എങ്കിലും ഇനിമേല് അങ്ങനെ അറിയുന്നില്ല.

16. Wherefore hencefoorth knowe we no man after the flesshe: Insomuche, though we haue knowen Christe after the flesshe, nowe yet hencefoorth knowe we hym so no more.

17. ഒരുത്തന് ക്രിസ്തുവിലായാല് അവന് പുതിയ സൃഷ്ടി ആകുന്നു; പഴയതു കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി, ഇതാ, അതു പുതുതായി തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
യെശയ്യാ 43:18-21

17. Therfore yf any man be in Christe, he is a newe creature. Olde thynges are passed awaye, beholde all thynges are become newe.

18. അതിന്നൊക്കെയും ദൈവം തന്നേ കാരണഭൂതന് ; അവന് നമ്മെ ക്രിസ്തുമൂലം തന്നോടു നിരപ്പിച്ചു, നിരപ്പിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

18. And all thynges are of God, whiche hath reconciled vs vnto hym selfe by Iesus Christe, and hath geuen to vs the ministerie of reconciliation.

19. ദൈവം ലോകത്തിന്നു ലംഘനങ്ങളെ കണക്കിടാതെ ലോകത്തെ ക്രിസ്തുവില് തന്നോടു നിരപ്പിച്ചു പോന്നു. ഈ നിരപ്പിന്റെ വചനം ഞങ്ങളുടെ പക്കല് ഭരമേല്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. For God was in Christe, reconciling the worlde to hym selfe, not imputyng their sinnes vnto them, and hath committed to vs the preachyng of the atonement.

20. ആകയാല് ഞങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു വേണ്ടി സ്ഥാനാപതികളായി ദൈവത്തോടു നിരന്നു കൊള്വിന് എന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു പകരം അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അതു ദൈവം ഞങ്ങള് മുഖാന്തരം പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു.
യെശയ്യാ 52:7

20. Nowe then are we messengers in the rowme of Christe, euen as though God dyd beseche you through vs. So praye we you in Christes steade, that ye be reconciled vnto God.

21. പാപം അറിയാത്തവനെ, നാം അവനില് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതി ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു, അവന് നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി പാപം ആക്കി.

21. For he hath made him to be sinne for vs, whiche knewe no sinne, that we shoulde be made the ryghteousnesse of God in hym.
