1. മനുഷ്യരില് നിന്നല്ല മനുഷ്യനാലുമല്ല യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനാലും അവനെ മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ച പിതാവായ ദൈവത്താലുമത്രേ അപ്പൊസ്തലനായ പൌലൊസും

1. PAUL, AN apostle--[special messenger appointed and commissioned and sent out] not from [any body of] men nor by or through any man, but by and through Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and God the Father, Who raised Him from among the dead--

2. കൂടെയുള്ള സകല സഹോദരന്മാരും ഗലാത്യസഭകള്ക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു

2. And all the brethren who are with me, to the churches of Galatia:

3. പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല്നിന്നും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ദുഷ്ടലോകത്തില്നിന്നു നമ്മെ വിടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്നിമിത്തം തന്നെത്താന് ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തവനായി നമ്മുടെ

3. Grace and spiritual blessing be to you and [soul] peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah),

4. കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല് നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

4. Who gave (yielded) Himself up [to atone] for our sins [and to save and sanctify us], in order to rescue and deliver us from this present wicked age and world order, in accordance with the will and purpose and plan of our God and Father--

5. അവന്നു എന്നെന്നേക്കും മഹത്വം. ആമേന് .

5. To Him [be ascribed all] the glory through all the ages of the ages and the eternities of the eternities! Amen (so be it).

6. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കൃപയാല് നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചവനെ വിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് ഇത്രവേഗത്തില് വേറൊരു സുവിശേഷത്തിലേക്കു മറയുന്നതു കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

6. I am surprised and astonished that you are so quickly turning renegade and deserting Him Who invited and called you by the grace (unmerited favor) of Christ (the Messiah) [and that you are transferring your allegiance] to a different [even an opposition] gospel.

7. അതു വേറൊരു സുവിശേഷം എന്നല്ല, ചിലര് നിങ്ങളെ കലക്കി ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം മറിച്ചുകളവാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു എന്നത്രേ.

7. Not that there is [or could be] any other [genuine Gospel], but there are [obviously] some who are troubling and disturbing and bewildering you [with a different kind of teaching which they offer as a gospel] and want to pervert and distort the Gospel of Christ (the Messiah) [into something which it absolutely is not].

8. എന്നാല് ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിച്ചിതിന്നു വിപരീതമായി ഞങ്ങള് ആകട്ടെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു ദൂതനാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷം അറിയിച്ചാല് അവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് .

8. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to and different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)!

9. ഞങ്ങള് മുമ്പറഞ്ഞതു പോലെ ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് പിന്നെയും പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് കൈകൊണ്ട സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു വിപരീതമായി ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷം അറിയിച്ചാല് അവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് .

9. As we said before, so I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from or contrary to that which you received [from us], let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)!

10. ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരെയോ ദൈവത്തെയോ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു? അല്ല, ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിപ്പാന് നോക്കുന്നുവോ? ഇന്നും ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസനായിരിക്കയില്ല.

10. Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).

11. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാന് അറിയിച്ച സുവിശേഷം മാനുഷമല്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്പ്പിക്കുന്നു.

11. For I want you to know, brethren, that the Gospel which was proclaimed and made known by me is not man's gospel [a human invention, according to or patterned after any human standard].

12. അതു ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരോടു പ്രാപിച്ചിട്ടില്ല പഠിച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല, യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വെളിപ്പാടിനാല് അത്രേ പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

12. For indeed I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but [it came to me] through a [direct] revelation [given] by Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

13. യെഹൂദമതത്തിലെ എന്റെ മുമ്പേത്ത നടപ്പു നിങ്ങള് കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ. ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭയെ അത്യന്തം ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു മുടിക്കയും

13. You have heard of my earlier career and former manner of life in the Jewish religion (Judaism), how I persecuted and abused the church of God furiously and extensively, and [with fanatical zeal did my best] to make havoc of it and destroy it.

14. എന്റെ പിതൃപാരമ്പര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അത്യന്തം എരിവേറി, എന്റെ സ്വജനത്തില് സമപ്രായക്കാരായ പലരെക്കാളും യെഹൂദമതത്തില് അധികം മുതിരുകയും ചെയ്തുപോന്നു.

14. And [you have heard how] I outstripped many of the men of my own generation among the people of my race in [my advancement in study and observance of the laws of] Judaism, so extremely enthusiastic and zealous I was for the traditions of my ancestors.

15. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ജനനം മുതല് എന്നെ വേര്തിരിച്ചുതന്റെ കൃപയാല് വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം
യെശയ്യാ 49:1, യിരേമ്യാവു 1:5

15. But when He, Who had chosen and set me apart [even] before I was born and had called me by His grace (His undeserved favor and blessing), saw fit and was pleased [Isa. 49:1; Jer. 1:5.]

16. തന്റെ പുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷം ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ എന്നില് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് പ്രസാദിച്ചപ്പോള് ഞാന് മാംസരക്തങ്ങളോടു ആലോചിക്കയോ

16. To reveal (unveil, disclose) His Son within me so that I might proclaim Him among the Gentiles (the non-Jewish world) as the glad tidings (Gospel), immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood [did not consult or counsel with any frail human being or communicate with anyone].

17. എനിക്കു മുമ്പെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരായവരുടെ അടുക്കല് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ നേരെ അറബിയിലേക്കു പോകയും ദമസ്കൊസിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരുകയും ചെയ്തു.

17. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles (special messengers of Christ) before I was, but I went away and retired into Arabia, and afterward I came back again to Damascus.

18. മൂവാണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു കേഫാവുമായി മുഖപരിചയമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി പതിനഞ്ചുദിവസം അവനോടുകടെ പാര്ത്തു.

18. Then three years later, I did go up to Jerusalem to become [personally] acquainted with Cephas (Peter), and remained with him for fifteen days.

19. എന്നാല് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ യാക്കോബിനെ അല്ലാതെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരില് വേറൊരുത്തനെയും കണ്ടില്ല.

19. But I did not see any of the other apostles (the special messengers of Christ) except James the brother of our Lord.

20. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു ഭോഷ്കല്ല എന്നതിന്നു ദൈവം സാക്ഷി.

20. Now [note carefully what I am telling you, for it is the truth], I write this as if I were standing before the bar of God; I do not lie.

21. പിന്നെ ഞാന് സുറിയ കിലിക്യ ദിക്കുകളിലേക്കു പോയി.

21. Then I went into the districts (countries, regions) of Syria and Cilicia.

22. യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ ക്രിസ്തുസഭകള്ക്കോ ഞാന് മുഖപരിചയം ഇല്ലാത്തവന് ആയിരുന്നു;

22. And so far I was still unknown by sight to the churches of Christ in Judea (the country surrounding Jerusalem).

23. മുമ്പെ നമ്മെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചവന് താന് മുമ്പെ മുടിച്ച വിശ്വാസത്തെ ഇപ്പോള് പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മാത്രം

23. They were only hearing it said, He who used to persecute us is now proclaiming the very faith he once reviled and which he set out to ruin and tried with all his might to destroy.

24. അവര് കേട്ടു എന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

24. And they glorified God [as the Author and Source of what had taken place] in me.
