1. മനുഷ്യരില് നിന്നല്ല മനുഷ്യനാലുമല്ല യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനാലും അവനെ മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ച പിതാവായ ദൈവത്താലുമത്രേ അപ്പൊസ്തലനായ പൌലൊസും

1. Paul an Apostle, not of men, neither by man: but by Iesus Christe, and by God the father, which raysed hym vp from death:

2. കൂടെയുള്ള സകല സഹോദരന്മാരും ഗലാത്യസഭകള്ക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു

2. And all the brethren which are with me. Unto ye Churches of Galacia:

3. പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല്നിന്നും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ദുഷ്ടലോകത്തില്നിന്നു നമ്മെ വിടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്നിമിത്തം തന്നെത്താന് ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തവനായി നമ്മുടെ

3. Grace [be] with you, and peace from God the father, and from our Lorde Iesus Christe:

4. കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല് നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

4. Which gaue hym selfe for our sinnes, to deliuer vs from this present euyll worlde, accordyng to the wyll of God, and our father:

5. അവന്നു എന്നെന്നേക്കും മഹത്വം. ആമേന് .

5. To whom be glory for euer and euer. Amen.

6. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കൃപയാല് നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചവനെ വിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് ഇത്രവേഗത്തില് വേറൊരു സുവിശേഷത്തിലേക്കു മറയുന്നതു കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

6. I maruayle, that ye are so soone turned from him that had called you in the grace of Christe, vnto another Gospell:

7. അതു വേറൊരു സുവിശേഷം എന്നല്ല, ചിലര് നിങ്ങളെ കലക്കി ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം മറിച്ചുകളവാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു എന്നത്രേ.

7. Which is not another [Gospel] but that there be some which trouble you, and intende to peruert the Gospel of Christ.

8. എന്നാല് ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിച്ചിതിന്നു വിപരീതമായി ഞങ്ങള് ആകട്ടെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു ദൂതനാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷം അറിയിച്ചാല് അവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് .

8. Neuerthelesse, though we, or an Angel from heauen, preache any other Gospel vnto you, then that which we haue preached vnto you, let hym be accursed.

9. ഞങ്ങള് മുമ്പറഞ്ഞതു പോലെ ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് പിന്നെയും പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് കൈകൊണ്ട സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു വിപരീതമായി ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷം അറിയിച്ചാല് അവന് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് .

9. As we sayde before, so say I nowe agayne, yf any man preache any other Gospell vnto you, then that ye haue receaued, let hym be accursed.

10. ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരെയോ ദൈവത്തെയോ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു? അല്ല, ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിപ്പാന് നോക്കുന്നുവോ? ഇന്നും ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസനായിരിക്കയില്ല.

10. Do I nowe perswade men, or God? Other do I seke to please men? For yf I shoulde yet please men, I were not the seruaunt of Christe.

11. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാന് അറിയിച്ച സുവിശേഷം മാനുഷമല്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്പ്പിക്കുന്നു.

11. I certifie you brethren, that the Gospell which was preached of me, was not after man.

12. അതു ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരോടു പ്രാപിച്ചിട്ടില്ല പഠിച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല, യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വെളിപ്പാടിനാല് അത്രേ പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

12. For I neither receaued it of man, neither was I taught [it] but by the reuelation of Iesus Christe.

13. യെഹൂദമതത്തിലെ എന്റെ മുമ്പേത്ത നടപ്പു നിങ്ങള് കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ. ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭയെ അത്യന്തം ഉപദ്രവിച്ചു മുടിക്കയും

13. For ye haue hearde of my conuersation in tyme past in the Iewes religion, howe that beyonde measure I persecuted the Churche of God, & spoyled it:

14. എന്റെ പിതൃപാരമ്പര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അത്യന്തം എരിവേറി, എന്റെ സ്വജനത്തില് സമപ്രായക്കാരായ പലരെക്കാളും യെഹൂദമതത്തില് അധികം മുതിരുകയും ചെയ്തുപോന്നു.

14. And profited in the Iewes religion, aboue many of my companions in mine owne nation, beyng a very feruent maynteyner of the traditions of my fathers.

15. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ജനനം മുതല് എന്നെ വേര്തിരിച്ചുതന്റെ കൃപയാല് വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം
യെശയ്യാ 49:1, യിരേമ്യാവു 1:5

15. But when it pleased God, which seperated me from my mothers wombe, & called [me] by his grace,

16. തന്റെ പുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷം ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ എന്നില് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് പ്രസാദിച്ചപ്പോള് ഞാന് മാംസരക്തങ്ങളോടു ആലോചിക്കയോ

16. To reueale his sonne by me, that I shoulde by the Gospell preache hym among the Heathen: immediatly I communed not with fleshe and blood:

17. എനിക്കു മുമ്പെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരായവരുടെ അടുക്കല് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ നേരെ അറബിയിലേക്കു പോകയും ദമസ്കൊസിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരുകയും ചെയ്തു.

17. Neither returned to Hierusalem, to them which were Apostles before me: but went my wayes into Arabia, and came agayne vnto Damascus.

18. മൂവാണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു കേഫാവുമായി മുഖപരിചയമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി പതിനഞ്ചുദിവസം അവനോടുകടെ പാര്ത്തു.

18. Then after three yeres, I returned to Hierusale to see Peter, and abode with hym fyfteene dayes.

19. എന്നാല് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ യാക്കോബിനെ അല്ലാതെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരില് വേറൊരുത്തനെയും കണ്ടില്ല.

19. But other of the Apostles sawe I none, saue Iames the Lordes brother.

20. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു ഭോഷ്കല്ല എന്നതിന്നു ദൈവം സാക്ഷി.

20. The thynges therfore which I write vnto you, beholde, before God I lie not.

21. പിന്നെ ഞാന് സുറിയ കിലിക്യ ദിക്കുകളിലേക്കു പോയി.

21. Afterwarde, I came into the coastes of Syria & Cilicia,

22. യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ ക്രിസ്തുസഭകള്ക്കോ ഞാന് മുഖപരിചയം ഇല്ലാത്തവന് ആയിരുന്നു;

22. (1:21) and was vnknowen in face vnto the Churches of Iurie, which were in Christe.

23. മുമ്പെ നമ്മെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചവന് താന് മുമ്പെ മുടിച്ച വിശ്വാസത്തെ ഇപ്പോള് പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മാത്രം

23. (1:22) But they had hearde only, that he which persecuted vs in tyme past, nowe preacheth the fayth, which before he destroyed.

24. അവര് കേട്ടു എന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

24. (1:23) And they glorified God in me.
