1. അന്ത്യകാലത്തു ദുര്ഘടസമയങ്ങള് വരും എന്നറിക.

1. Remember this: There are some terrible times coming in the last days.

2. മനുഷ്യര് സ്വസ്നേഹികളും വമ്പു പറയുന്നവരും അഹങ്കാരികളും ദൂഷകന്മാരും അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെ അനുസരിക്കാത്തവരും നന്ദികെട്ടവരും അശുദ്ധരും

2. People will love only themselves and money. They will be proud and boast about themselves. They will abuse others with insults. They will not obey their parents. They will be ungrateful and against all that is pleasing to God.

3. വാത്സല്യമില്ലാത്തവരും ഇണങ്ങാത്തവരും ഏഷണിക്കാരും അജിതേന്ദ്രിയന്മാരും ഉഗ്രന്മാരും

3. They will have no love for others and will refuse to forgive anyone. They will talk about others to hurt them and will have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good.

4. സല്ഗുണദ്വേഷികളും ദ്രോഹികളും ധാര്ഷ്ട്യക്കാരും നിഗളികളുമായി

4. People will turn against their friends. They will do foolish things without thinking and will be so proud of themselves. Instead of loving God, they will love pleasure.

5. ദൈവപ്രീയമില്ലാതെ ഭോഗപ്രിയരായി ഭക്തിയുടെ വേഷം ധരിച്ചു അതിന്റെ ശക്തി ത്യജിക്കുന്നവരുമായിരിക്കും. അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരെ വിട്ടൊഴിയുക.

5. They will go on pretending to be devoted to God, but they will refuse to let that 'devotion' change the way they live. Stay away from these people!

6. വീടുകളില് നൂണുകടക്കയും പാപങ്ങളെ ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു നാനാ മോഹങ്ങള്ക്കും അധീനരായി എപ്പോഴും പഠിച്ചിട്ടും ഒരിക്കലും സത്യത്തിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനം പ്രാപിപ്പാന് കഴിയാത്ത പെണ്ണുങ്ങളെ സ്വാധീനമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര് ഈ കൂട്ടത്തിലുള്ളവര് ആകുന്നു;

6. Some of them go into homes and get control over weak women, whose lives are full of sin�women who are led into sin by all the things they want.

7. യന്നേസും യംബ്രേസും മോശെയോടു എതിര്ത്തുനിന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ ഇവരും സത്യത്തോടു മറുത്തുനിലക്കുന്നു; ദുര്ബ്ബുദ്ധികളും വിശ്വാസം സംബന്ധിച്ചുകൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരുമത്രേ.

7. These women always want to learn something new, but they are never able to fully understand the truth.

8. Just as Jannes and Jambres, fought against Moses, these people fight against the truth. Their thinking has been confused. The faith they have and teach is worthless.

9. But they will not succeed in what they are trying to do. Everyone will see how foolish they are. That is what happened to Jannes and Jambres.

10. അന്ത്യൊക്യയിലും ഇക്കൊന്യയിലും ലൂസ്ത്രയിലും എനിക്കു സംഭവിച്ച ഉപദ്രവവും കഷ്ടാനുഭവവും കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് എന്തെല്ലാം ഉപദ്രവം സഹിച്ചു; അതിലെല്ലാറ്റില് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

10. But you know all about me. You know what I teach and the way I live. You know my goal in life. You know my faith, my patience, and my love. You know that I never stop trying.

11. എന്നാല് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് ഭക്തിയോടെ ജീവിപ്പാന് മനസ്സുള്ളവര്ക്കും എല്ലാം ഉപദ്രവം ഉണ്ടാകും.

11. You know about my persecutions and my sufferings. You know all the things that happened to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra�the persecution I suffered in those places. But the Lord saved me from all of it.

12. ദുഷ്ടമനുഷ്യരും മായാവികളും വഞ്ചിച്ചും വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു മേലക്കുമേല് ദോഷത്തില് മുതിര്ന്നു വരും.

12. Everyone who wants to live showing true devotion to God in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

13. നീയോ ഇന്നവരോടു പഠിച്ചു എന്നു ഔര്ക്കുംകയും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിങ്കലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താല് നിന്നെ രക്ഷെക്കു ജ്ഞാനിയാക്കുവാന് മതിയായ തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളെ ബാല്യംമുതല് അറികയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു കൊണ്ടു

13. People who are evil and cheat others will become worse and worse. They will fool others, but they will also be fooling themselves.

14. നീ പഠിച്ചും നിശ്ചയം പ്രാപിച്ചും ഇരിക്കുന്നതില് നിലനില്ക്ക.

14. But you should continue following the teaching you learned. You know it is true, because you know you can trust those who taught you.

15. എല്ലാതിരുവെഴുത്തും ദൈവശ്വാസീയമാകയാല് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മനുഷ്യന് സകല സല്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കും വക പ്രാപിച്ചു തികഞ്ഞവന് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു

15. You have known the Holy Scriptures since you were a child. These Scriptures are able to make you wise. And that wisdom leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

16. ഉപദേശത്തിന്നും ശാസനത്തിന്നും ഗുണീകരണത്തിന്നും നീതിയിലെ അഭ്യാസത്തിന്നും പ്രയോജനമുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

16. All Scripture is given by God. And all Scripture is useful for teaching and for showing people what is wrong in their lives. It is useful for correcting faults and teaching the right way to live.
