1. യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസനും യാക്കോബിന്റെ സഹോദരനുമായ യൂദാ, പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തില് സ്നേഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടും യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്നായി സൂക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടും ഇരിക്കുന്നവരായ വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്ക്കും എഴുതുന്നതു

1. Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called:

2. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കരുണയും സമാധാനവും സ്നേഹവും വര്ദ്ധിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

2. Mercy to you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

3. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you concerning the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.

4. നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപയെ ദുഷ്കാമവൃത്തിക്കു ഹേതുവാക്കി ഏകനാഥനും നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവുമായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്ന അഭക്തരായ ചില മനുഷ്യര് നുഴഞ്ഞു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ഈ ശിക്ഷാവിധി പണ്ടു തന്നേ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. For certain men have crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

6. And the angels who kept not their proper abode, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day.

7. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to gross immorality, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

8. Likewise also these [filthy] dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

9. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

10. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

11. അവര്ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അവര് കയീന്റെ വഴിയില് നടക്കയും കൂലി കൊതിച്ചു ബിലെയാമിന്റെ വഞ്ചനയില് തങ്ങളേത്തന്നേ ഏല്പിക്കയും കോരഹിന്റെ മത്സരത്തില് നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

11. Woe to them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and run greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.

12. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds [they are] without water, carried about by winds; late autumn trees, without fruit, twice dead, plucked out by the roots;

13. Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

15. To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have impiously committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

16. അവര് പിറുപിറുപ്പുകാരും തങ്ങളുടെ ഗതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു ആവലാധി പറയുന്നവരുമായി സ്വന്തമോഹങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നു. അവരുടെ വായ് വമ്പുപറയുന്നു; കാര്യ്യസാദ്ധ്യത്തിന്നായി അവര് മുഖസ്തുതി പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

16. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words], having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

17. നിങ്ങളോ, പ്രിയരേ, നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര് മുന് പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകളെ ഔര്പ്പിന് .

17. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

18. അന്ത്യകാലത്തു ഭക്തികെട്ട മോഹങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്ന പരിഹാസികള് ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു അവര് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

18. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19. അവര് ഭിന്നത ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവര്, പ്രാകൃതന്മാര്, ആത്മാവില്ലാത്തവര്.

19. These are they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

20. നിങ്ങളോ, പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിവിശുദ്ധ വിശ്വാസത്തെ ആധാരമാക്കി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേ ആത്മികവര്ദ്ധന വരുത്തിയും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവില് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചും നിത്യജീവന്നായിട്ടു

20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying by the Holy Spirit,

21. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കരുണെക്കായി കാത്തിരുന്നുംകൊണ്ടു ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തില് നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

21. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

22. സംശയിക്കുന്നവരായ ചിലരോടു കരുണ ചെയ്വിന് ;

22. And of some have compassion, making a difference:

23. ചിലരെ തീയില്നിന്നു വലിച്ചെടുത്തു രക്ഷിപ്പിന് ; ജഡത്താല് കറപിടിച്ച അങ്കിപോലും പകെച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ചിലര്ക്കും ഭയത്തോടെ കരുണ കാണിപ്പിന് .

23. And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

24. വീഴാതവണ്ണം നിങ്ങളെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു, തന്റെ മഹിമാസന്നിധിയില് കളങ്കമില്ലാത്തവരായി ആനന്ദത്തോടെ നിറുത്തുവാന് ശക്തിയുള്ളവന്നു, നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷിതാവായ ഏകദൈവത്തിന്നു തന്നേ, സര്വ്വകാലത്തിന്നുമുമ്പും ഇപ്പോഴും സദാകാലത്തോളവും തേജസ്സും മഹിമയും ബലവും അധികാരവും ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ. ആമേന് .

24. Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
