1. എഫെസൊസിലെ സഭയുടെ ദൂതന്നു എഴുതുകഏഴു നക്ഷത്രം വലങ്കയ്യില് പിടിച്ചും കൊണ്ടു ഏഴു പൊന് നിലവിളക്കുകളുടെ നടുവില് നടക്കുന്നവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു

1. To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: 'He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among of the seven golden menorot says these things:

2. ഞാന് നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും പ്രയത്നവും സഹിഷ്ണുതയും കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരെ നിനക്കു സഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്തതും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരല്ലാതിരിക്കെ തങ്ങള് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര് എന്നു പറയുന്നവരെ നീ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു കള്ളന്മാര് എന്നു കണ്ടതും,

2. 'I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can't tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.

3. You have perseverance and have endured for my name's sake, and have not grown weary.
