1. എഫെസൊസിലെ സഭയുടെ ദൂതന്നു എഴുതുകഏഴു നക്ഷത്രം വലങ്കയ്യില് പിടിച്ചും കൊണ്ടു ഏഴു പൊന് നിലവിളക്കുകളുടെ നടുവില് നടക്കുന്നവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു

1. To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, 'These things says He that holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

2. ഞാന് നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും പ്രയത്നവും സഹിഷ്ണുതയും കൊള്ളരുതാത്തവരെ നിനക്കു സഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്തതും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരല്ലാതിരിക്കെ തങ്ങള് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര് എന്നു പറയുന്നവരെ നീ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു കള്ളന്മാര് എന്നു കണ്ടതും,

2. I know your works, and your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you tested those who say that they are apostles and they are not, and you found them [to be] liars;

3. നിനക്കു സഹിഷ്ണുതയുള്ളതും എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം നീ സഹിച്ചതും തളന്നുപോകാഞ്ഞതും ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

3. and you have endurance and you have born patiently on account of My name, and you did not become weary.

4. എങ്കിലും നിന്റെ ആദ്യസ്നേഹം വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഒരു കുറ്റം നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറവാനുണ്ടു.

4. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

5. നീ ഏതില്നിന്നു വീണിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഔര്ത്തു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു ആദ്യത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്ക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാല് ഞാന് വരികയും നീ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാല് നിന്റെ നിലവിളകൂ അതിന്റെ നിലയില്നിന്നു നീക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

5. Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; but if not, I am coming to you quickly and I will remove your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.

10. Fear none of those things which you are about to suffer. Behold indeed, the devil is about to cast [some] of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

12. And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, 'These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:

13. നീ എവിടെ പാര്ക്കുംന്നു എന്നും അതു സാത്താന്റെ സിംഹാസനം ഉള്ളേടം എന്നും ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ നാമം മുറുകെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്, സാത്താന് പാര്ക്കുംന്നേടത്തു തന്നേ, എന്റെ സാക്ഷിയും വിശ്വസ്തനുമായ അന്തിപ്പാസിനെ കൊന്ന കാലത്തുപോലും നീ എങ്കലുള്ള വിശ്വാസം നിഷേധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

13. I know your works, and where you live, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan is dwelling.

14. എങ്കിലും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു കുറഞ്ഞോരു കുറ്റം പറവാന് ഉണ്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് വിഗ്രഹാര്പ്പിതം തിന്നേണ്ടതിന്നും ദുര്ന്നടപ്പു ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അവരുടെ മുമ്പില് ഇടര്ച്ചവെപ്പാന് ബാലാക്കിന്നു ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ബിലെയാമിന്റെ ഉപദേശം പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവര് അവിടെ നിനക്കുണ്ടു.

16. ആകയാല് മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുക; അല്ലാഞ്ഞാല് ഞാന് വേഗത്തില് വന്നു എന്റെ വായിലെ വാളുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു പോരാടും.

16. Repent therefore! Or else I will come to you quickly, and make war against them with the sword of My mouth.

17. ആത്മാവു സഭകളോടു പറയുന്നതു എന്തെന്നു ചെവിയുള്ളവന് കേള്ക്കട്ടെ. ജയിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഞാന് മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന മന്ന കൊടുക്കും; ഞാന് അവന്നു വെള്ളക്കല്ലും, ലഭിക്കുന്നവനല്ലാതെ ആരും അറിയാത്തതും ആ കല്ലിന്മേല് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ പുതിയ പേരും കൊടുക്കും.

19. ഞാന് നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും നിന്റെ സ്നേഹം, വിശ്വാസം, ശുശ്രൂഷ, സഹിഷ്ണുത എന്നിവയും നിന്റെ ഒടുവിലത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആദ്യത്തേതിലും ഏറെയെന്നും അറിയുന്നു.

19. I know your works, and love, and faith and service, and your endurance; and your last works [are] greater than the first.

20. എങ്കിലും താന് പ്രവാചകി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ദുര്ന്നടപ്പു ആചരിപ്പാനും വിഗ്രഹാര്പ്പിതം തിന്മാനും എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ ഉപദേശിക്കയും തെറ്റിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈസബേല് എന്ന സ്ത്രീയെ നീ അനുവദിക്കുന്നു എന്നൊരു കുറ്റം നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പറവാന് ഉണ്ടു.

20. But I have [this] against you, that you tolerate your wife Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit fornication and eat things sacrificed to idols.

22. ഞാന് അവളെ കിടപ്പിലും അവളുമായി വ്യഭിചരിക്കുന്നവരെ അവളുടെ നടപ്പു വിട്ടു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാതിരുന്നാല് വലിയ കഷ്ടതയിലും ആക്കിക്കളയും.

22. Behold, I am casting her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, if they do not repent of her works.

23. അവളുടെ മക്കളെയും ഞാന് കൊന്നുകളയും; ഞാന് ഉള്പൂവുകളെയും ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും ആരായുന്നവന് എന്നു സകലസഭകളും അറിയും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഏവര്ക്കും പകരം ചെയ്യും.

24. But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden.

25. എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളതു ഞാന് വരുംവരെ പിടിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് എന്നു ഞാന് കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

25. Only hold fast what you have till I come.

26. ജയിക്കയും ഞാന് കല്പിച്ച പ്രവൃത്തികളെ അവസാനത്തോളം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു എന്റെ പിതാവു എനിക്കു തന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ മേല് അധികാരം കൊടുക്കും.
