1. Job, call out for help and see if an angel comes!

2. നീരസം ഭോഷനെ കൊല്ലുന്നു; ഈര്ഷ്യ മൂഢനെ ഹിംസിക്കുന്നു.

2. Envy and jealousy will kill a stupid fool.

3. മൂഢന് വേരൂന്നുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു ക്ഷണത്തില് അവന്റെ പാര്പ്പിടത്തെ ശപിച്ചു.

3. I have seen fools take root. But God sends a curse, suddenly uprooting them

4. അവന്റെ മക്കള് രക്ഷയോടകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് രക്ഷകനില്ലാതെ വാതില്ക്കല്വെച്ചു തകര്ന്നുപോകുന്നു.

4. and leaving their children helpless in court.

5. Then hungry and greedy people gobble down their crops and grab up their wealth.

6. Our suffering isn't caused by the failure of crops;

7. തീപ്പൊരി ഉയരെ പറക്കുംപോലെ മനുഷ്യന് കഷ്ടതെക്കായി ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. it's all part of life, like sparks shooting skyward.

8. Job, if I were you, I would ask God for help.

11. He protects the sorrowful and lifts up those who have been disgraced.

12. അവന് ഉപായികളുടെ സൂത്രങ്ങളെ അബദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കൈകള് കാര്യം സാധിപ്പിക്കയുമില്ല.

12. God swiftly traps the wicked

13. അവന് ജ്ഞാനികളെ അവരുടെ കൌശലത്തില് പിടിക്കുന്നു; വക്രബുദ്ധികളുടെ ആലോചന മറിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു.

13. in their own evil schemes, and their wisdom fails.

14. Darkness is their only companion, hiding their path at noon.

15. God rescues the needy from the words of the wicked and the fist of the mighty.

16. The poor are filled with hope, and injustice is silenced.

17. ദൈവം ശാസിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് ; സര്വ്വശക്തന്റെ ശിക്ഷ നീ നിരസിക്കരുതു.

17. Consider yourself fortunate if God All-Powerful chooses to correct you.

18. അവന് മുറിവേല്പക്കിയും മുറി കെട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവന് ചതെക്കയും തൃക്കൈ പൊറുപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

18. He may cause injury and pain, but he will bandage and heal your cuts and bruises.

19. ആറു കഷ്ടത്തില്നിന്നു അവന് നിന്നെ വിടുവിക്കും; ഏഴാമത്തേതിലും തിന്മ നിന്നെ തൊടുകയില്ല.

19. God will protect you from harm, no matter how often trouble may strike.

20. ക്ഷാമകാലത്തു അവന് നിന്നെ മരണത്തില്നിന്നും യുദ്ധത്തില് വാളിന്റെ വെട്ടില്നിന്നും വിടുവിക്കും.

20. In times of war and famine, God will keep you safe.

21. നാവെന്ന ചമ്മട്ടിക്കു നീ ഗുപ്തനാകും; നാശം വരുമ്പോള് നീ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല.

21. You will be sheltered, without fear of hurtful words or any other weapon.

22. നാശവും ക്ഷാമവും കണ്ടു നീ ചിരിക്കും; കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളെ നീ പേടിക്കയില്ല.

22. You will laugh at the threat of destruction and famine. And you won't be afraid of wild animals--

23. വയലിലെ കല്ലുകളോടു നിനക്കു സഖ്യതയുണ്ടാകും; കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങള് നിന്നോടു ഇണങ്ങിയിരിക്കും.

23. they will no longer be fierce, and your rocky fields will become friendly.

24. നിന്റെ കൂടാരം നിര്ഭയം എന്നു നീ അറിയും; നിന്റെ പാര്പ്പിടം നീ പരിശോധിക്കും, ഒന്നും കാണാതെയിരിക്കയില്ല.

24. Your home will be secure, and your sheep will be safe.

25. നിന്റെ സന്താനം അസംഖ്യമെന്നും നിന്റെ പ്രജ നിലത്തെ പുല്ലുപോലെയെന്നും നീ അറിയും.

25. You will have more descendants than there are blades of grass on the face of the earth.

26. തക്ക സമയത്തു കറ്റക്കൂമ്പാരം അടുക്കിവെക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നീ പൂര്ണ്ണവാര്ദ്ധക്യത്തില് കല്ലറയില് കടക്കും.

26. You will live a long life, and your body will be strong until the day you die.

27. ഞങ്ങള് അതു ആരാഞ്ഞുനോക്കി, അതു അങ്ങനെതന്നേ ആകുന്നു; നീ അതു കേട്ടു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊള്ക.
