1. യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്വിന് ; തന് നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിപ്പിന് ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അറിയിപ്പിന് .

1. Praise the Lord, and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.

2. അവന്നു പാടുവിന് ; അവന്നു കീര്ത്തനം പാടുവിന് ; അവന്റെ സകലഅത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിപ്പിന് .

2. Sing vnto him, sing prayse vnto him, and talke of all his wonderous workes.

3. അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില് പ്രശംസിപ്പിന് ; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.

3. Reioyce in his holy Name: let the heart of them that seeke the Lord, reioyce.

4. യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ബലത്തെയും തിരവിന് ; അവന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഇടവിടാതെ അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് .

4. Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually.

5. അവന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും അവന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിന് മക്കളുമായുള്ളോരേ,

5. Remember his marueilous woorkes, that he hath done, his wonders and the iudgements of his mouth,

6. അവന് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അവന്റെ വായുടെ ന്യായവിധികളും ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

6. Ye seede of Abraham his seruant, ye children of Iaakob, which are his elect.

7. അവന് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലും ഉണ്ടു.

7. He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are through all the earth.

8. അവന് തന്റെ നിയമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും താന് കല്പിച്ച വചനത്തെ ആയിരം തലമുറയോളവും ഔര്ക്കുംന്നു.
ലൂക്കോസ് 1:72-73

8. He hath alway remembred his couenant and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,

9. അവന് അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത സത്യവും തന്നേ.

9. Euen that which he made with Abraham, and his othe vnto Izhak:

10. അതിനെ അവന് യാക്കോബിന്നു ഒരു ചട്ടമായും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായും നിയമിച്ചു.

10. And since hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a lawe, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant,

11. നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഔഹരിയായി ഞാന് നിനക്കു കനാന് ദേശം തരും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

11. Saying, Vnto thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.

12. അവര് അന്നു എണ്ണത്തില് കുറഞ്ഞവരും ആള് ചുരുങ്ങിയവരും അവിടെ പരദേശികളും ആയിരുന്നു.

12. Albeit they were fewe in nomber, yea, very fewe, and strangers in the land,

13. അവര് ഒരു ജാതിയെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും പോകും.

13. And walked about from nation to nation, from one kingdome to another people,

14. അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിപ്പാന് അവന് ആരെയും സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല; അവരുടെ നിമിത്തം അവന് രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു

14. Yet suffered he no man to doe them wrong, but reprooued Kings for their sakes, saying,

15. എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്മാരെ തൊടരുതു, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

15. Touche not mine anointed, and doe my Prophets no harme.

16. അവന് ദേശത്തു ഒരു ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി. അപ്പമെന്ന കോലിനെ അശേഷം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

16. Moreouer, he called a famine vpon ye land, and vtterly brake the staffe of bread.

17. അവര്ക്കും മുമ്പായി അവന് ഒരാളെ അയച്ചു; യോസേഫിനെ അവര് ദാസനായി വിറ്റുവല്ലോ.

17. But he sent a man before them: Ioseph was solde for a slaue.

18. യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകയും അവന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടിനാല് അവന്നു ശോധന വരികയും ചെയ്യുവോളം

18. They helde his feete in the stockes, and he was laide in yrons,

19. അവര് അവന്റെ കാലുകളെ വിലങ്ങുകൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിക്കയും അവന് ഇരിമ്പു ചങ്ങലയില് കുടുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.

19. Vntill his appointed time came, and the counsell of the Lord had tryed him.

20. രാജാവു ആളയച്ചു അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികളുടെ അധിപതി അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി.

20. The King sent and loosed him: euen the Ruler of the people deliuered him.

21. അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം ബന്ധിച്ചുകൊള്വാനും അവന്റെ മന്ത്രിമാര്ക്കും ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാനും

21. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,

22. തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്നു അവനെ കര്ത്താവായും തന്റെ സര്വ്വസമ്പത്തിന്നും അധിപതിയായും നിയമിച്ചു.

22. That he shoulde binde his princes vnto his will, and teach his Ancients wisedome.

23. അപ്പോള് യിസ്രായേല് മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു ചെന്നു; യാക്കോബ് ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു വന്നു പാര്ത്തു.

23. Then Israel came to Egypt, and Iaakob was a stranger in the land of Ham.

24. ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും അവരുടെ വൈരികളെക്കാള് അവരെ ബലവാന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

24. And he increased his people exceedingly, and made them stronger then their oppressours.

25. തന്റെ ജനത്തെ പകെപ്പാനും തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോടു ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിപ്പാനും അവന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

25. He turned their heart to hate his people, and to deale craftily with his seruants.

26. അവന് തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയെയും താന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും അയച്ചു.

26. Then sent he Moses his seruant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27. ഇവര് അവരുടെ ഇടയില് അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചു.

27. They shewed among them the message of his signes, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28. അവന് ഇരുള് അയച്ചു ദേശത്തെ ഇരുട്ടാക്കി; അവര് അവന്റെ വചനത്തോടു മറുത്തതുമില്ല;

28. He sent darkenesse, and made it darke: and they were not disobedient vnto his commission.

29. അവന് അവരുടെ വെള്ളത്തെ രക്തമാക്കി, അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

29. He turned their waters into blood, and slewe their fish.

30. അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു തവള വ്യാപിച്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പള്ളിയറകളില്പോലും നിറഞ്ഞു.

30. Their land brought foorth frogs, euen in their Kings chambers.

31. അവന് കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള് നായീച്ചയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം പേനും വന്നു;

31. He spake, and there came swarmes of flies and lice in all their quarters.

32. അവന് അവര്ക്കും മഴെക്കു പകരം കല്മഴയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തില് അഗ്നിജ്വാലയും അയച്ചു.

32. He gaue them haile for raine, and flames of fire in their land.

33. അവന് അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തി വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകര്ത്തു; അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചു.

33. He smote their vines also and their figge trees, and brake downe the trees in their coastes.

34. അവന് കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള് വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും തുള്ളനും അനവധിയായി വന്നു,

34. He spake, and the grashoppers came, and caterpillers innumerable,

35. അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ സസ്യം ഒക്കെയും അവരുടെ വയലിലെ വിളയും തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

35. And did eate vp all the grasse in their land, and deuoured the fruite of their ground.

36. അവന് അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും അവരുടെ സര്വ്വവീര്യത്തിന് ആദ്യഫലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചു.

36. He smote also all the first borne in their land, euen the beginning of all their strength.

37. അവന് അവരെ വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളില് ഒരു ബലഹീനനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

37. He brought them forth also with siluer and golde, and there was none feeble among their tribes.

38. അവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് മിസ്രയീം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവരെയുള്ള പേടി അവരുടെമേല് വീണിരുന്നു.

38. Egypt was glad at their departing: for the feare of them had fallen vpon them.

39. അവന് തണലിന്നായി ഒരു മേഘം വിരിച്ചു; രാത്രിയില് വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായി തീ നിറുത്തി.

39. He spred a cloude to be a couering, and fire to giue light in the night.

40. അവര് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള് അവന് കാടകളെ കൊടുത്തു; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയഭോജനംകൊണ്ടും അവര്ക്കും തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി.
യോഹന്നാൻ 6:31

40. They asked, and he brought quailes, and he filled them with the bread of heauen.

41. അവന് പാറയെ പിളര്ന്നു, വെള്ളം ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അതു ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി നദിയായി ഒഴുകി.

41. He opened the rocke, and the waters flowed out, and ranne in the drye places like a riuer.

42. അവന് തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവചനത്തെയും തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെയും ഔര്ത്തു.

42. For he remembred his holy promise to Abraham his seruant,

43. അവന് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സന്തോഷത്തോടും താന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ഘോഷത്തോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.

43. And he brought forth his people with ioy, and his chosen with gladnesse,

44. അവര് തന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കയും തന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണങ്ങളെ ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു

44. And gaue them the lands of the heathen, and they tooke the labours of the people in possession,

45. അവന് ജാതികളുടെ ദേശങ്ങളെ അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അവര് വംശങ്ങളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

45. That they might keepe his statutes, and obserue his Lawes. Prayse ye the Lord.
