1. യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്വിന് ; തന് നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിപ്പിന് ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അറിയിപ്പിന് .

1. Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his Name, Make known, among the peoples, his doings;

2. അവന്നു പാടുവിന് ; അവന്നു കീര്ത്തനം പാടുവിന് ; അവന്റെ സകലഅത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിപ്പിന് .

2. Sing ye to him, Make ye music to him, Speak ye of all his wonders.

3. അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില് പ്രശംസിപ്പിന് ; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.

3. Make your boast in his holy Name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.

4. യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ബലത്തെയും തിരവിന് ; അവന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഇടവിടാതെ അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് .

4. Search out Yahweh and his strength, Seek diligently his face at all times.

5. അവന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും അവന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിന് മക്കളുമായുള്ളോരേ,

5. Remember his wonders which he hath done, His portents, and the just decisions of his mouth.

6. അവന് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അവന്റെ വായുടെ ന്യായവിധികളും ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

6. O ye Seed of Abraham his servants, Sons of Jacob his chosen ones:

7. അവന് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലും ഉണ്ടു.

7. Yahweh himself, is our God, Through all the land, are his just decision.

8. അവന് തന്റെ നിയമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും താന് കല്പിച്ച വചനത്തെ ആയിരം തലമുറയോളവും ഔര്ക്കുംന്നു.
ലൂക്കോസ് 1:72-73

8. He hath remembered, unto times age-abiding, his covenant, The word he commanded, to a thousand generations;

9. അവന് അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത സത്യവും തന്നേ.
ലൂക്കോസ് 1:72-73

9. Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;

10. അതിനെ അവന് യാക്കോബിന്നു ഒരു ചട്ടമായും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായും നിയമിച്ചു.

10. And confirmed if unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel, as a covenant age-abiding;

11. നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഔഹരിയായി ഞാന് നിനക്കു കനാന് ദേശം തരും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

11. Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, As your inherited portion;

12. അവര് അന്നു എണ്ണത്തില് കുറഞ്ഞവരും ആള് ചുരുങ്ങിയവരും അവിടെ പരദേശികളും ആയിരുന്നു.

12. While as yet they were men easily counted, A very few, and sojourners therein;

13. അവര് ഒരു ജാതിയെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും പോകും.

13. And they wandered from nation to nation, From a kingdom, to another people.

14. അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിപ്പാന് അവന് ആരെയും സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല; അവരുടെ നിമിത്തം അവന് രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു

14. He suffered no son of earth to oppress them, And reproved for their sakes even kings!

15. എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്മാരെ തൊടരുതു, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

15. Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.

16. അവന് ദേശത്തു ഒരു ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി. അപ്പമെന്ന കോലിനെ അശേഷം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

16. Then called he a famine over the and, All the staff of bread, he brake;

17. അവര്ക്കും മുമ്പായി അവന് ഒരാളെ അയച്ചു; യോസേഫിനെ അവര് ദാസനായി വിറ്റുവല്ലോ.

17. He sent before them a man, For a slave, was he sold even Joseph;

18. യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകയും അവന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടിനാല് അവന്നു ശോധന വരികയും ചെയ്യുവോളം

18. They forced, into a fetter, his foot, Into the iron, entered his soul;

19. അവര് അവന്റെ കാലുകളെ വിലങ്ങുകൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിക്കയും അവന് ഇരിമ്പു ചങ്ങലയില് കുടുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.

19. Until the time when his word came to pass, Speech of Yahweh, proved him;

20. രാജാവു ആളയച്ചു അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികളുടെ അധിപതി അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി.

20. The king sent, and set him free, One having dominion over peoples, yet loosed he his bonds;

21. അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം ബന്ധിച്ചുകൊള്വാനും അവന്റെ മന്ത്രിമാര്ക്കും ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാനും

21. He appointed him lord to his household, And one having dominion over all he possessed;

22. തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്നു അവനെ കര്ത്താവായും തന്റെ സര്വ്വസമ്പത്തിന്നും അധിപതിയായും നിയമിച്ചു.

22. That he might bind his rulers as he pleased, And, his elders, he might embue with wisdom.

23. അപ്പോള് യിസ്രായേല് മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു ചെന്നു; യാക്കോബ് ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു വന്നു പാര്ത്തു.

23. So Israel came into Egypt, And, Jacob, sojourned in the land of Ham;

24. ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും അവരുടെ വൈരികളെക്കാള് അവരെ ബലവാന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

24. And he made his people exceeding fruitful, And caused them to become stronger than their adversaries.

25. തന്റെ ജനത്തെ പകെപ്പാനും തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോടു ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിപ്പാനും അവന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

25. He let them turn their heart To hate his people, To deal treacherously with his servants;

26. അവന് തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയെയും താന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും അയച്ചു.

26. He sent Moses his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.

27. ഇവര് അവരുടെ ഇടയില് അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചു.

27. He set among them his threatening signs, And his wonders, in the land of Ham;

28. അവന് ഇരുള് അയച്ചു ദേശത്തെ ഇരുട്ടാക്കി; അവര് അവന്റെ വചനത്തോടു മറുത്തതുമില്ല;

28. He sent darkness, and made it dark, But they rebelled against his words;

29. അവന് അവരുടെ വെള്ളത്തെ രക്തമാക്കി, അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

29. He turned their waters into blood, And so caused their fish to die;

30. അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു തവള വ്യാപിച്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പള്ളിയറകളില്പോലും നിറഞ്ഞു.

30. Their land swarmed with frogs, In the chambers of their kings!

31. അവന് കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള് നായീച്ചയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം പേനും വന്നു;

31. He spake, and there came in the gad-fly, Gnats, in all their bounds;

32. അവന് അവര്ക്കും മഴെക്കു പകരം കല്മഴയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തില് അഗ്നിജ്വാലയും അയച്ചു.

32. He made their showers hail, A fire flaming throughout their land;

33. അവന് അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തി വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകര്ത്തു; അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചു.

33. And he smote their vines, and their fig-trees, And brake in pieces the trees of their bounds;

34. അവന് കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള് വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും തുള്ളനും അനവധിയായി വന്നു,

34. He spake then came the swarming locust, The devouring locust, and that without number;

35. അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ സസ്യം ഒക്കെയും അവരുടെ വയലിലെ വിളയും തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

35. And devoured all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.

36. അവന് അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും അവരുടെ സര്വ്വവീര്യത്തിന് ആദ്യഫലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചു.

36. Then smote he every firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength;

37. അവന് അവരെ വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളില് ഒരു ബലഹീനനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

37. Thus brought he them forth, with silver and gold, Nor was there, throughout his tribes, one that faltered;

38. അവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് മിസ്രയീം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവരെയുള്ള പേടി അവരുടെമേല് വീണിരുന്നു.

38. Egypt rejoiced when they went out, For the dread of them had fallen upon them.

39. അവന് തണലിന്നായി ഒരു മേഘം വിരിച്ചു; രാത്രിയില് വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായി തീ നിറുത്തി.

39. He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,

40. അവര് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള് അവന് കാടകളെ കൊടുത്തു; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയഭോജനംകൊണ്ടും അവര്ക്കും തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി.
യോഹന്നാൻ 6:31

40. They asked, and he brought in the quail, And, with the bread of the heavens, he satisfied them;

41. അവന് പാറയെ പിളര്ന്നു, വെള്ളം ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അതു ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി നദിയായി ഒഴുകി.

41. He opened the rock, and there gushed forth waters, They flowed along, through parched places, as a river;

42. അവന് തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവചനത്തെയും തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെയും ഔര്ത്തു.

42. For he remembered his holy word, With Abraham his servant.

43. അവന് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സന്തോഷത്തോടും താന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ഘോഷത്തോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.

43. Thus brought he forth his people with gladness, With shouts of triumph, his chosen ones;

44. അവര് തന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കയും തന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണങ്ങളെ ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു

44. And gave them, the lands of the nations, And, of the toil of the peoples, took they possession:

45. അവന് ജാതികളുടെ ദേശങ്ങളെ അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അവര് വംശങ്ങളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

45. In order that they might observe his statutes, And, over his laws, might keep watch, Praise ye Yah.
