1. A song of ascents. I I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From where will my help come?

2. ഞാന് എന്റെ കണ്ണു പര്വ്വതങ്ങളിലേക്കു ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു; എനിക്കു സഹായം എവിടെനിന്നു വരും?

2. My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth.

3. എന്റെ സഹായം ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയിങ്കല്നിന്നു വരുന്നു.

3. God will not allow your foot to slip; your guardian does not sleep.

4. നിന്റെ കാല് വഴുതുവാന് അവന് സമ്മതിക്കയില്ല; നിന്നെ കാക്കുന്നവന് മയങ്ങുകയുമില്ല.

4. Truly, the guardian of Israel never slumbers nor sleeps.

5. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിപാലകന് മയങ്ങുകയില്ല, ഉറങ്ങുകയുമില്ല.

5. The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your righthand.

6. യഹോവ നിന്റെ പരിപാലകന് ; യഹോവ നിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നിനക്കു തണല്.

6. By day the sun cannot harm you, nor the moon by night.

7. പകല് സൂര്യനെങ്കിലും രാത്രി ചന്ദ്രനെങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ബാധിക്കയില്ല.

7. The LORD will guard you from all evil, will always guard your life.

8. യഹോവ ഒരു ദോഷവും തട്ടാതവണ്ണം നിന്നെ പരിപാലിക്കും. അവന് നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പരിപാലിക്കും.

8. The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever.
