8. Hear, O my people, and I will testify to you: O Israel, if you would listen to me!

9. There will be no strange god in you; Neither will you worship any foreign god.

10. മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന യഹോവയായ ഞാന് നിന്റെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ വായ് വിസ്താരത്തില് തുറക്ക; ഞാന് അതിനെ നിറെക്കും.

10. I am Yahweh your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt: Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

11. But my people did not listen to my voice; And Israel did not want me.

12. So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, That they might walk in their own counsels.

13. Oh that my people would listen to me, That Israel would walk in my ways!

14. എന്നാല് ഞാന് വേഗത്തില് അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കീഴടക്കുമായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ വൈരികളുടെ നേരെ എന്റെ കൈ തിരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

14. I would soon subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries.

15. യഹോവയെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് അവന്നു കീഴടങ്ങുമായിരുന്നു; എന്നാല് ഇവരുടെ ശുഭകാലം എന്നേക്കും നിലക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

15. The haters of Yahweh should submit themselves to him: But their time should endure forever.

16. He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat; And with honey out of the rock I would satisfy you.
