1. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the Word of Jehovah was to me, saying,

2. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് മഹാ തീക്ഷണതയോടെ സീയോന്നുവേണ്ടി എരിയുന്നു; ഞാന് അതിന്നുവേണ്ടി മഹാക്രോധത്തോടെ എരിയുന്നു.

2. So says Jehovah of Hosts: I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great wrath.

3. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് സീയോനിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നു യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ വസിക്കും; യെരൂശലേമിന്നു സത്യ നഗരം എന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ പര്വ്വതത്തിന്നു വിശുദ്ധപര്വ്വതം എന്നും പേര് പറയും.

3. So says Jehovah: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And Jerusalem shall be called a City of Truth, and the mountain of Jehovah of Hosts, the Holy Mountain.

4. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഇനിയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വീഥികളില് വൃദ്ധന്മാരും വൃദ്ധമാരും ഇരിക്കും; വാര്ദ്ധക്യംനിമിത്തം ഔരോരുത്തന് കയ്യില് വടി പടിക്കും.

4. So says Jehovah of Hosts: There shall yet be old men and old women sitting in the streets of Jerusalem; and each man with his staff in his hand because of their many days.

5. നഗരത്തിന്റെ വീഥികള് ആണ്കുട്ടികളെയും പെണ്കുട്ടികളെയും കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കും; അവര് അതിന്റെ വീഥികളില് കളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

5. And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.

6. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅതു ഈ കാലത്തില് ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും അതിശയമായി തോന്നുന്നു എങ്കില് എനിക്കും അതിശയമായി തോന്നുമോ എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

6. So says Jehovah of Hosts: If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be marvelous in My eyes? says Jehovah of Hosts.

7. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഉദയദേശത്തുനിന്നും അസ്തമയദേശത്തുനിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കും.

7. So says Jehovah of Hosts: Behold, I will save My people from the rising sun and from the land of the setting sun.

8. ഞാന് അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരും; അവര് യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ക്കും; സത്യത്തിലും നീതിയിലും അവര് എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.

8. And I will bring them, and they shall live in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be for a people to Me, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

9. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയമായ മന്ദിരം പണിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ട നാളില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ വായില്നിന്നു ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ ഈ കാലത്തു കേള്ക്കുന്നവരേ, ധൈര്യപ്പെടുവിന് .

9. So says Jehovah of Hosts: Let your hands be made strong, you who hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, that in the day the house of Jehovah of Hosts is founded, the temple is to be built.

10. ഈ കാലത്തിന്നുമുമ്പെ മനുഷ്യന്നു കൂലിയില്ല, മൃഗത്തിന്നു കൂലിയില്ല; പോക്കുവരത്തു ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു വൈരി നിമിത്തം സമാധാനവുമില്ല; ഞാന് സകല മനുഷ്യരെയും തമ്മില് തമ്മില് വിരോധമാക്കിയിരുന്നു.

10. For before those days there was no payment for man, nor was there payment for animal; and there was no peace to him from the adversary who went out or came in. For I sent every man, a man against his neighbor.

11. ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന് ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവരോടു മുമ്പിലത്തെ കാലത്തു എന്നപോലെയല്ല എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

11. But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in former days, says Jehovah of Hosts.

12. വിത സമാധാനത്തോടെ ആയിരിക്കും; മുന്തിരിവള്ളി ഫലം കായക്കും; ഭൂമി അനുഭവം നലകും; ആകാശം മഞ്ഞു പെയ്യിക്കും; ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും ഞാന് ഇവയൊക്കെയും അവകാശമായി കൊടുക്കും.

12. For there shall be peace for the seed: the vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these.

13. യെഹൂദാഗൃഹവും യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹവുമായുള്ളോരേ, നിങ്ങള് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ശാപമായിരുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് അനുഗ്രഹമായ്തീരും; നിങ്ങള് ഭയപ്പെടാതെ ധൈര്യമായിരിപ്പിന് .

13. And it shall be, as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be made strong.

14. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചപ്പോള് ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തിന്മ വരുത്തുവാന് വിചാരിക്കയും അനുതപിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ

14. For so says Jehovah of Hosts, As I purposed to punish you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, says Jehovah of Hosts, and I did not repent,

15. ഞാന് ഈ കാലത്തു യെരൂശലേമിന്നും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നും വീണ്ടും നന്മ വരുത്തുവാന് വിചാരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

15. so again I have purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem, and the house of Judah. Do not fear.

16. നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യേണ്ടുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള് ഇവയാകുന്നുഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു സത്യം പറവിന് ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളില് നേരോടും സമാധാനത്തോടുംകൂടെ ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്വിന് .

16. These are the things that you shall do. Let each man speak the truth with his neighbor. Judge with truth and justice for peace in your gates,

17. നിങ്ങളില് ആരും തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ നേരെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കരുതു; കള്ളസ്സത്യത്തില് ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നുകയും അരുതു; ഇതെല്ലാം ഞാന് വെറുക്കുന്നതല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

17. and let each devise no evil in your heart against his neighbor, and do not love a false oath. For all these I hate, says Jehovah.

18. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

18. And the Word of Jehovah of Hosts was to me, saying,

19. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനാലാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും അഞ്ചാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും ഏഴാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും പത്താം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും പ്രമോദമായുള്ള ഉത്സവങ്ങളും ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതുകൊണ്ടു സത്യവും സമാധാനവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുവിന് .

19. So says Jehovah of Hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall become for joy and gladness and cheerful feasts to the house of Judah. Therefore, love truth and peace.

20. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഇനി ജാതികളും അനേക പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ നിവാസികളും വരുവാന് ഇടയാകും.

20. So says Jehovah of Hosts: There shall yet come peoples, and those living in many cities.

21. ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിലെ നിവാസികള് മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു ചെന്നുവരുവിന് , നമുക്കു യഹോവയെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും പോകാം; ഞാനും പോരുന്നു എന്നു പറയും.

21. And those living in one shall go to another, saying, Let us go at once to seek the favor of the face of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of Hosts; I will go also.

22. അങ്ങനെ അനേകജാതികളും ബഹുവംശങ്ങളും യെരൂശലേമില് സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിപ്പാനും യഹോവയെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിപ്പാനും വരും.

22. And many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of Hosts in Jerusalem, and to seek the favor of the face of Jehovah.

23. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുആ കാലത്തു ജാതികളുടെ സകലഭാഷകളിലുംനിന്നു പത്തുപേര് ഒരു യെഹൂദന്റെ വസ്ത്രാഗ്രം പിടിച്ചുദൈവം നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഞങ്ങള് കേട്ടിരിക്കയാല് ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോരുന്നു എന്നു പറയും.

23. So says Jehovah of Hosts: In those days ten men out of all languages of the nations shall take hold, and will seize the skirt of a man, a Jew, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.
