1. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. Again the word of the LORD of hosts came {to me}, saying,

2. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് മഹാ തീക്ഷണതയോടെ സീയോന്നുവേണ്ടി എരിയുന്നു; ഞാന് അതിന്നുവേണ്ടി മഹാക്രോധത്തോടെ എരിയുന്നു.

2. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

3. യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് സീയോനിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നു യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ വസിക്കും; യെരൂശലേമിന്നു സത്യ നഗരം എന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ പര്വ്വതത്തിന്നു വിശുദ്ധപര്വ്വതം എന്നും പേര് പറയും.

3. Thus saith the LORD; I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

4. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഇനിയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വീഥികളില് വൃദ്ധന്മാരും വൃദ്ധമാരും ഇരിക്കും; വാര്ദ്ധക്യംനിമിത്തം ഔരോരുത്തന് കയ്യില് വടി പടിക്കും.

4. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

5. നഗരത്തിന്റെ വീഥികള് ആണ്കുട്ടികളെയും പെണ്കുട്ടികളെയും കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കും; അവര് അതിന്റെ വീഥികളില് കളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

5. And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.

6. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅതു ഈ കാലത്തില് ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും അതിശയമായി തോന്നുന്നു എങ്കില് എനിക്കും അതിശയമായി തോന്നുമോ എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

6. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.

7. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഉദയദേശത്തുനിന്നും അസ്തമയദേശത്തുനിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കും.

7. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

8. ഞാന് അവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരും; അവര് യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ക്കും; സത്യത്തിലും നീതിയിലും അവര് എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.

8. And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

9. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുസൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയമായ മന്ദിരം പണിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ട നാളില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ വായില്നിന്നു ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ ഈ കാലത്തു കേള്ക്കുന്നവരേ, ധൈര്യപ്പെടുവിന് .

9. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, who {were} in the day {when} the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

10. ഈ കാലത്തിന്നുമുമ്പെ മനുഷ്യന്നു കൂലിയില്ല, മൃഗത്തിന്നു കൂലിയില്ല; പോക്കുവരത്തു ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു വൈരി നിമിത്തം സമാധാനവുമില്ല; ഞാന് സകല മനുഷ്യരെയും തമ്മില് തമ്മില് വിരോധമാക്കിയിരുന്നു.

10. For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither {was there any} peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbor.

11. ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന് ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവരോടു മുമ്പിലത്തെ കാലത്തു എന്നപോലെയല്ല എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

11. But now I {will} not {be} to the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.

12. വിത സമാധാനത്തോടെ ആയിരിക്കും; മുന്തിരിവള്ളി ഫലം കായക്കും; ഭൂമി അനുഭവം നലകും; ആകാശം മഞ്ഞു പെയ്യിക്കും; ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും ഞാന് ഇവയൊക്കെയും അവകാശമായി കൊടുക്കും.

12. For the seed {shall be} prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these {things}.

13. യെഹൂദാഗൃഹവും യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹവുമായുള്ളോരേ, നിങ്ങള് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ശാപമായിരുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടു നിങ്ങള് അനുഗ്രഹമായ്തീരും; നിങ്ങള് ഭയപ്പെടാതെ ധൈര്യമായിരിപ്പിന് .

13. And it shall come to pass, {that} as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, let your hands be strong.

14. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചപ്പോള് ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തിന്മ വരുത്തുവാന് വിചാരിക്കയും അനുതപിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ

14. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not;

15. ഞാന് ഈ കാലത്തു യെരൂശലേമിന്നും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നും വീണ്ടും നന്മ വരുത്തുവാന് വിചാരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

15. So again have I thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

16. നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യേണ്ടുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള് ഇവയാകുന്നുഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു സത്യം പറവിന് ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളില് നേരോടും സമാധാനത്തോടുംകൂടെ ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്വിന് .

16. These {are} the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

17. നിങ്ങളില് ആരും തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ നേരെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കരുതു; കള്ളസ്സത്യത്തില് ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നുകയും അരുതു; ഇതെല്ലാം ഞാന് വെറുക്കുന്നതല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

17. And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these {are things} that I hate, saith the LORD.

18. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

18. And the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,

19. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനാലാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും അഞ്ചാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും ഏഴാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും പത്താം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും പ്രമോദമായുള്ള ഉത്സവങ്ങളും ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതുകൊണ്ടു സത്യവും സമാധാനവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുവിന് .

19. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth {month}, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.

20. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഇനി ജാതികളും അനേക പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ നിവാസികളും വരുവാന് ഇടയാകും.

20. Thus saith the LORD of hosts: {It shall} yet {come to pass}, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:

21. ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിലെ നിവാസികള് മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു ചെന്നുവരുവിന് , നമുക്കു യഹോവയെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും പോകാം; ഞാനും പോരുന്നു എന്നു പറയും.

21. And the inhabitants of one {city} shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.

22. അങ്ങനെ അനേകജാതികളും ബഹുവംശങ്ങളും യെരൂശലേമില് സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിപ്പാനും യഹോവയെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിപ്പാനും വരും.

22. And many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.

23. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുആ കാലത്തു ജാതികളുടെ സകലഭാഷകളിലുംനിന്നു പത്തുപേര് ഒരു യെഹൂദന്റെ വസ്ത്രാഗ്രം പിടിച്ചുദൈവം നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഞങ്ങള് കേട്ടിരിക്കയാല് ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോരുന്നു എന്നു പറയും.

23. Thus saith the LORD of hosts: In those days {it shall come to pass}, that ten men out of all languages of the nations, shall take hold, shall even take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard {that} God {is} with you.
