1. പിന്നെ യഹോവ അഹരോനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാല്നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും നിന്റെ പിതൃഭവനവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുണ്ടാകുന്ന അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കേണം; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യം സംബന്ധിച്ചുണ്ടാകുന്ന അകൃത്യവും വഹിക്കേണം.

1. And Jehovah said to Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

2. നിന്റെ പിതൃഗോത്രമായ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ അടുത്തുവരുമാറാക്കേണം. അവര് നിന്നോടു ചേര്ന്നു നിനക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുമോ സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരത്തിങ്കല് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം.

2. And thy brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring near with thee, that they may unite with thee, and minister unto thee; but thou and thy sons with thee [shall serve] before the tent of the testimony.

3. അവര് നിനക്കും കൂടാരത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും ആവശ്യമുള്ള കാര്യം നോക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അവരും നിങ്ങളും കൂടെ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളോടും യാഗപീഠത്തോടും അടുക്കരുതു.

3. And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of the whole tent: only they shall not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar, that they may not die, and you as well as they.

4. അവര് നിന്നോടു ചേര്ന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള സകലവേലെക്കുമായി കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കേണം; ഒരു അന്യനും നിങ്ങളോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

4. And they shall unite with thee, and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; and no stranger shall come near to you.

5. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മേല് ഇനി ക്രോധം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെയും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെയും കാര്യം നിങ്ങള് നോക്കേണം.

5. And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar; that there come no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.

6. ലേവ്യരായ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയോ ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേക്കു ദാനമായിരിക്കുന്ന അവരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. And I, behold, I have taken your brethren, the Levites, from among the children of Israel; to you are they given as a gift for Jehovah to perform the service of the tent of meeting.

7. ആകയാല് നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കലും തിരശ്ശീലെക്കകത്തും ഉള്ള സകലകാര്യത്തിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പൌരോഹിത്യം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണം; പൌരോഹിത്യം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അന്യന് അടുത്തുവന്നാല് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

7. But thou and thy sons with thee shall attend to your priesthood for all that concerneth the altar, and for that which is inside the veil; and ye shall perform the service: I give you your priesthood as a service of gift, and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.

8. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അഹരോനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുഇതാ, എന്റെ ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യം ഞാന് നിന്നെ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സകലവസ്തുക്കളിലും അവയെ ഞാന് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഔഹരിയായും ശാശ്വതവാകാശമായും തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. And Jehovah spoke to Aaron, And I, behold, I have given thee the charge of my heave-offerings, of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; to thee have I given them, because of the anointing, and to thy sons by an everlasting statute.

9. തീയില് ദഹിപ്പിക്കാത്തതായി അതിവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളില്വെച്ചു ഇതു നിനക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം; അവര് എനിക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ എല്ലാവഴിപാടും സകലഭോജനയാഗവും സകലപാപയാഗവും സകലഅകൃത്യയാഗവും അതിവിശുദ്ധമായി നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഇരിക്കേണം.

9. This shall be thine of the most holy things, [reserved] from the fire: every offering of theirs, of all their oblations, and of all their sin-offerings, and of all their trespass-offerings, which they render unto me, it is most holy for thee and for thy sons.

10. അതി വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുവായിട്ടു അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം; ആണുങ്ങളെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം. അതു നിനക്കുവേണ്ടി വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

10. As most holy shalt thou eat it: every male shall eat it; it shall be holy unto thee.

11. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ദാനമായുള്ള ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായ ഇതു അവരുടെ സകലനീരാജനയാഗങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ നിനക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു; ഇവയെ ഞാന് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും പുത്രിമാര്ക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വീട്ടില് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന്നെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കാം.

11. And this shall be thine: the heave-offering of their gift, with all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel; I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

12. എണ്ണയില് വിശേഷമായതൊക്കെയും പുതുവീഞ്ഞിലും ധാന്യത്തിലും വിശേഷമായതൊക്കെയും ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് യഹോവേക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യഫലമൊക്കെയും ഞാന് നിനക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. All the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they give to Jehovah, have I given thee.

13. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തുള്ള എല്ലാറ്റിലും യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന ആദ്യഫലങ്ങള് നിനക്കു ആയിരിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ വീട്ടില് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന്നെല്ലാം അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കാം.

13. The first ripe of everything that is in their land, which they shall bring to Jehovah, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

14. യിസ്രായേലില് ശപഥാര്പ്പിതമായതു ഒക്കെയും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം.

14. Every devoted thing in Israel shall be thine.

15. മനുഷ്യരില് ആകട്ടെ മൃഗങ്ങളില് ആകട്ടെ സകല ജഡത്തിലും അവര് യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന കടിഞ്ഞൂല് ഒക്കെയും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം; മനുഷ്യന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയോ വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം; അശുദ്ധമൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം.

15. Everything that breaketh open the womb of all flesh, which they present to Jehovah, of men or of beasts, shall be thine; nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou in any case ransom, and the firstborn of unclean beasts shalt thou ransom.

16. വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു വിലയോഒരു മാസംമുതല് മേലോട്ടു പ്രായമുള്ളതിനെ നിന്റെ മതിപ്പുപ്രകാരം അഞ്ചു ശേക്കെല് ദ്രവ്യംകൊടുത്തു വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണം. ശേക്കെല് ഒന്നിന്നു ഇരുപതു ഗേരപ്രകാരം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തൂക്കം തന്നേ.

16. And those that are to be ransomed from a month old shalt thou ransom, according to thy valuation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.

17. എന്നാല് പശു, ആടു, കോലാടു എന്നിവയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കരുതു; അവ വിശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു; അവയുടെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് തളിച്ചു മേദസ്സു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

17. But the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, thou shalt not ransom: they are holy. Thou shalt sprinkle their blood on the altar, and their fat shalt thou burn as an offering by fire for a sweet odour to Jehovah.

18. നീരാജനം ചെയ്ത നെഞ്ചും വലത്തെ കൈക്കുറകും നിനക്കുള്ളതായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവയുടെ മാംസവും നിനക്കു ഇരിക്കേണം.

18. And their flesh shall be thine; as the wave-breast and as the right shoulder shall it be thine.

19. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യഹോവേക്കു അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളില് ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഞാന് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും പുത്രിമാര്ക്കും ശാശ്വതാവകാശമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും ഇതു എന്നേക്കും ഒരു ലവണനിയമം ആകുന്നു.

19. All the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to Jehovah, have I given thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute: it shall be an everlasting covenant of salt before Jehovah unto thee and thy seed with thee.

20. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അഹരോനോടുനിനക്കു അവരുടെ ഭൂമിയില് ഒരു അവകാശവും ഉണ്ടാകരുതു; അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നിനക്കു ഒരു ഔഹരിയും അരുതു; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് ഞാന് തന്നേ നിന്റെ ഔഹരിയും അവകാശവും ആകുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

20. And Jehovah said to Aaron, In their land thou shalt have no inheritance, neither shalt thou have any portion among them: I am thy portion and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

21. ലേവ്യര്ക്കോ ഞാന് സാമഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവര് ചെയ്യുന്ന വേലെക്കു യിസ്രായേലില് ഉള്ള ദശാംശം എല്ലാം അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
എബ്രായർ 7:5

21. And to the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.

22. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് പാപം വഹിച്ചു മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മേലാല് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

22. Neither shall the children of Israel henceforth come near the tent of meeting, to bear sin and die.

23. ലേവ്യര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വേല ചെയ്കയും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കയും വേണം; അതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടമായിരിക്കേണം; അവര്ക്കും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവകാശം ഉണ്ടാകരുതു.

23. But the Levite, he shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it is an everlasting statute throughout your generations. And among the children of Israel shall they possess no inheritance;

24. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യഹോവേക്കു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കുന്ന ദശാംശം ഞാന് ലേവ്യര്ക്കും അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര്ക്കും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവകാശം അരുതു എന്നു ഞാന് അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. for I have given for an inheritance to the Levites the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering to Jehovah; therefore I have said of them, They shall possess no inheritance among the children of Israel.

25. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

25. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

26. നീ ലേവ്യരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശമായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ദശാംശം അവരോടു വാങ്ങുമ്പോള് ദശാംശത്തിന്റെ പത്തിലൊന്നു നിങ്ങള് യഹോവേക്കു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

26. And to the Levites shalt thou speak, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer a heave-offering from it for Jehovah, the tenth of the tithe.

27. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഈ ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണം കളത്തിലെ ധാന്യംപോലെയും മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കിലെ നിറവുപോലെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പേര്ക്കും എണ്ണും.

27. And your heave-offering shall be reckoned unto you, as the corn from the threshing-floor, and as the fulness of the winepress.

28. ഇങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളോടു നിങ്ങള് വാങ്ങുന്ന സകലദശാംശത്തില്നിന്നും യഹോവേക്കു ഒരു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; യഹോവേക്കുള്ള ആ ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണം നിങ്ങള് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം.

28. Thus ye also shall offer Jehovah's heave-offering of all your tithes, which ye take of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof Jehovah's heave-offering to Aaron the priest.

29. നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള സകലദാനങ്ങളിലും ഉത്തമമായ എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും വിശുദ്ധഭാഗം നിങ്ങള് യഹോവേക്കു ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

29. Out of all that is given you ye shall offer the whole heave-offering of Jehovah, -- of all the best thereof the hallowed part thereof.

30. ആകയാല് നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് അതിന്റെ ഉത്തമഭാഗം ഉദര്ച്ചാര്പ്പണമായി അര്പ്പിക്കുമ്പോള് അതു കളത്തിലെ അനുഭവം പോലെയും മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കിലെ അനുഭവംപോലെയും ലേവ്യര്ക്കും എണ്ണും.

30. And thou shalt say unto them, When ye heave the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as produce of the threshing-floor, and as produce of the winepress.

31. അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കും എല്ലാടത്തുവെച്ചും ഭക്ഷിക്കാം; അതു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിങ്കല് നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്ന വേലെക്കുള്ള ശമ്പളം ആകുന്നു.

31. And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households; for it is your reward for your service in the tent of meeting.

32. അതിന്റെ ഉത്തമഭാഗം ഉദര്ച്ചചെയ്താല് പിന്നെ നിങ്ങള് അതു നിമിത്തം പാപം വഹിക്കയില്ല; നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കള് അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും അതിനാല് മരിച്ചു പോവാന് ഇടവരികയുമില്ല.

32. And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, if ye heave from it the best of it; and ye shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.
