1. ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ത്തു; ശേഷംജനം പത്തുപേരില് ഒരാളെ വിശുദ്ധനഗരമായ യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരുവാനും ഒമ്പതു പേരെ മറ്റു പട്ടണങ്ങളില് പാര്പ്പിപ്പാനും തക്കവണ്ണം ചീട്ടിട്ടു.
മത്തായി 4:5

1. And the rulers of the people dwelt in Jerusalem, and, the rest of the people, cast lots, to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in other cities.

2. എന്നാല് യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്പ്പാന് സ്വമേധയാ സമ്മതിച്ച എല്ലാവരെയും ജനം അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

2. And the people bestowed a blessing on all the men, who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

3. യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ത്ത സംസ്ഥാനത്തലവന്മാര് ഇവരാകുന്നുയെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളില് യിസ്രായേല്യരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാരും ശലോമോന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ മക്കളും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിലും അവകാശത്തിലും പാര്ത്തു.

3. Now, these, are the chiefs of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, but, in the cities of Judah, dwelt every man in his possession throughout their cities, Israel, the priests, and the Levites and the Nethinim, and the Sons of the Servants of Solomon.

4. യെരൂശലേമില് ചില യെഹൂദ്യരും ബെന്യാമീന്യരും പാര്ത്തു. യെഹൂദ്യര് ആരെല്ലാമെന്നാല്പേരെസിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് മഹലലേലിന്റെ മകനായ അമര്യ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഖര്യ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഉസ്സീയാവിന്റെ മകന് അഥായാവും

4. And, in Jerusalem, dwelt certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin, Of the sons of Judah, Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalalel, of the sons of Perez;

5. ശിലോന്യന്റെ മകനായ സെഖര്യ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോയാരീബിന്റെ മകനായ അദായാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഹസായാവിന്റെ മകനായ കൊല്ഹോസെയുടെ മകനായ ബാരൂക്കിന്റെ മകന് മയസേയാവും തന്നെ.

5. and Maaseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of the Shilonite.

6. യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ത്ത പേരെസിന്റെ മക്കള് ആകെ നാനൂറ്ററുപത്തെട്ടു പരാക്രമശാലികള്.

6. All the sons of Perez who were dwelling in Jerusalem, four hundred and sixty-eight, men of ability.

8. and, after him, Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight.

9. And, Joel son of Zichri, was in charge over them, and, Judah son of Hassenuah, was over the city, as second.

10. പുരോഹിതന്മാരില് യൊയാരീബിന്റെ മകനായ യെദായാവും യാഖീനും

10. Of the priests, Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin;

11. അഹീത്തൂബിന്റെ മകനായ മെരായോത്തിന്റെ മകനായ സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി ദൈവാലയപ്രഭുവായ സെരായാവും

11. Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, chief ruler of the house of God;

12. ആലയത്തില് വേല ചെയ്തുവന്ന അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാര് എണ്ണൂറ്റിരുപത്തിരണ്ടുപേരും മല്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ പശ്ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ സെഖര്യ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ അംസിയുടെ മകനായ പെലല്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യൊരോഹാമിന്റെ മകന് ആദായാവും

12. and their brethren who were doing the work of the house, eight hundred and twenty-two, and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah;

13. പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് ഇരുനൂറ്റിനാല്പത്തിരണ്ടുപേരും ഇമ്മേരിന്റെ മകനായ മെശില്ലേമോത്തിന്റെ മകനായ അഹ്സായിയുടെ മകനായ അസരേലിന്റെ മകന് അമശെസായിയും

13. and his brethren, ancestral chiefs, two hundred and forty-two, and Amashsai son of Azarel, son of Ahzai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer;

14. അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ നൂറ്റിരുപത്തെട്ടു പരാക്രമശാലികളും; ഇവരുടെ പ്രമാണി ഹഗെദോലീമിന്റെ മകനായ സബ്ദീയേല് ആയിരുന്നു.

14. and their brethren, strong men of ability, a hundred and twenty-eight, and, he who was in charge of them, was Zabdiel, son of Haggedolim.

15. ലേവ്യരില്ബൂന്നിയുടെ മകനായ ഹശബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ അസ്രീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ അശ്ശൂബിന്റെ മകന് ശെമയ്യാവും

15. And, of the Levites, Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni;

16. ലേവ്യരുടെ തലവന്മാരില് ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ പുറമെയുള്ള വേലെക്കു മേല്വിചാരകന്മാരായിരുന്ന ശബ്ബെത്തായിയും യോസാബാദും

16. and Shabbethai and Jozabad, over the outside business of the house of God, of the chiefs of the Levites;

17. ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സബ്ദിയുടെ മകനായ മീഖയുടെ മകനായി പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് സ്തോത്രം ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന തലവനായ മത്ഥന്യാവും രണ്ടാമന് അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തനായ ബക്ക്ബൂക്ക്യാവും യെദൂഥൂന്റെ മകനായ ഗാലാലിന്റെ മകനായ ശമ്മൂവയുടെ മകന് അബ്ദയും തന്നേ.

17. and Mattaniah son of Mica, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, leader of the praise who giveth thanks, in prayer, and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.

18. വിശുദ്ധനഗരത്തില് ഉള്ള ലേവ്യര് ആകെ ഇരുനൂറ്റെണ്പത്തിനാലു പേര്.

18. All the Levites in the holy city, were two hundred and eighty-four.

19. വാതില്കാവല്ക്കാരായ അക്കൂബും തല്മോനും വാതിലുകള്ക്കരികെ കാക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും നൂറ്റെഴുപത്തിരണ്ടുപേര്.

19. And, the door-keepers Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren who were keeping watch in the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two.

20. ശേഷം യിസ്രായേല്യരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളിലൊക്കെയും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ അവകാശത്തില് പാര്ത്തു.

20. But, the residue of Israel, the priests, the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

21. ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാരോ ഔഫേലില് പാര്ത്തു; സീഹയും ഗിശ്പയും ദൈവലായദാസന്മാരുടെ പ്രമാണികള് ആയിരുന്നു.

21. Howbeit, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, and, Ziha and Gishpa, were over the Nethinim.

22. ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ വേലെക്കു യെരൂശലേമില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ലേവ്യരുടെ പ്രമാണി ആസാഫ്യരായ സംഗീതക്കാരില് ഒരുത്തനായി മീഖയുടെ മകനായ മത്ഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഹശബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ബാനിയുടെ മകന് ഉസ്സി ആയിരുന്നു.

22. And, the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph the singers, to take lead in the business of the house of God.

23. സംഗീതക്കാരെക്കുറിച്ചു രാജാവിന്റെ ഒരു കല്പനയും അവരുടെ നിത്യച്ചെലവുവകെക്കു ഒരു നിയമവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

23. For, the commandment of the king, was upon them, as to a fixed provision for the singers, the need of a day upon its day.

24. യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ സേരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരില് മെശേസബേലിന്റെ മകനായ പെഥഹ്യാവു ജനത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച എല്ലാകാര്യങ്ങള്ക്കും രാജാവിന്റെ കാര്യസ്ഥന് ആയിരുന്നു.

24. And, Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, was at the hand of the king, in every matter pertaining to the people.

25. ഗ്രാമങ്ങളുടെയും അവയോടു ചേര്ന്ന വയലുകളുടെയും കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞാലോയെഹൂദ്യരില് ചിലര് കിര്യ്യത്ത്-അര്ബയിലും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും ദീബോനിലും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും യെക്കബ്സയേലിലും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും

25. And, as for the villages in their fields, some of the sons of Judah, dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and the hamlets thereof, and in Dibon, and the hamlets thereof, and in Jekabzeel, and the villages thereof;

26. യേശുവയിലും മോലാദയിലും ബേത്ത്-പേലെതിലും ഹസര്-ശൂവാലിലും

26. and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-pelet;

27. ബേര്-ശേബയിലും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും

27. and in Hazar-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and the hamlets thereof;

28. സിക്ളാഗിലും മെഖോനിലും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും ഏന് -രിമ്മോനിലും

28. and in Ziklag, and in Meconah, and in the hamlets thereof,

29. ,3ഠ സോരയിലും യാര്മൂത്തിലും സനോഹയിലും അദുല്ലാമിലും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും ലാഖീശിലും അതിന്റെ വയലുകളിലും അസേക്കയിലും അതിന്റെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും പാര്ത്തു; അവര് ബേര്-ശേബമുഥല് ഹിന്നോം താഴ്വരവരെ പാര്ത്തു.

29. and in En-rimmmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth;

30. ബെന്യാമീന്യര് ഗേബമുതല് മിക്മാശ്വരെയും അയ്യയിലും ബേഥേലിലും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും

30. Zanoah, Adullam and their villages, Lachish, and the fields thereof, Azekah, and the hamlets thereof, so they encamped from Beer-sheba, unto the valley of Hinnom.

31. അനാഥോത്തിലും നോബിലും അനന്യാവിലും

31. And, the sons of Benjamin, dwelt from Geba, to Michmas and Aija, and Bethel, and the hamlets thereof:

32. ഹാസോരിലും രാമയിലും ഗിത്ഥായീമിലും

32. Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;

33. ഹാദീദിലും സെബോയീമിലും നെബല്ലാത്തിലും

33. Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim;

34. ലോദിലും ശില്പികളുടെ താഴ്വരയായ ഔനോവിലും പാര്ത്തു.

34. Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat;

35. യെഹൂദയില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ലേവ്യരുടെ ചില ക്കുറുകള് ബെന്യാമീനോടു ചേര്ന്നിരുന്നു.

35. Lod and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
