1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2. വെള്ളികൊണ്ടു രണ്ടു കാഹളം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക; അടിപ്പു പണിയായി അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കേണം; അവ നിനക്കു സഭയെ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുവാനും പാളയത്തെ പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പാനും ഉതകേണം.

2. Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

3. അവ ഊതുമ്പോള് സഭ മുഴുവനും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടേണം.

3. And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4. ഒരു കാഹളം മാത്രം ഊതിയാല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരായ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടേണം.

4. And if they blow [but] with one [trumpet], then the princes, [who are] heads of the thousands of Israel, shall assemble themselves to thee.

5. ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോള് കിഴക്കെ പാളയങ്ങള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടേണം.

5. When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.

6. രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോള് തെക്കെ പാളയങ്ങള് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവരുടെ പുറപ്പാടുകള്ക്കായി ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതേണം

6. When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

7. സഭയെ കൂട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഊതുമ്പോള് ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതരുതു.

7. But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

8. അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് ആകുന്നു കാഹളം ഊതേണ്ടതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

8. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.

9. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളെ ഞെരുക്കുന്ന ശത്രുവിന്റെ നേരെ നിങ്ങള് യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകുമ്പോള് ഗംഭീരധ്വനിയായി കാഹളം ഊതേണം; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്ത്തു ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കും.

9. And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

10. നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷദിവസങ്ങളിലും ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലും മാസാരംഭങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങള് ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിക്കുമ്പോള് കാഹളം ഊതേണം; അവ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ജ്ഞാപകമായിരിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു.

10. Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I [am] the LORD your God.

11. അനന്തരം രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം രണ്ടാം മാസം ഇരുപതാം തിയ്യതി മേഘം സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു പൊങ്ങി.

11. And it came to pass on the twentieth [day] of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

12. അപ്പോള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു; മേഘം പാറാന് മരുഭൂമിയില് വന്നുനിന്നു.

12. And the children of Israel took their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

13. യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവര് ഇങ്ങനെ ആദ്യമായി യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു.

13. And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

14. യെഹൂദാമക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി ആദ്യം പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകന് നഹശോന് .

14. In the first [place] went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host [was] Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

15. യിസ്സാഖാര്മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി സൂവാരിന്റെ മകന് നെഥനയേല്.

15. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar [was] Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

16. സെബൂലൂന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഹേലോന്റെ മകന് എലീയാബ്.

16. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun [was] Eliab the son of Helon.

17. അപ്പോള് തിരുനിവാസം അഴിച്ചു താഴ്ത്തി; ഗേര്ശോന്യരും മെരാര്യ്യരും തിരുനിവാസം ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

17. And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari moved forward, bearing the tabernacle.

18. പിന്നെ രൂബേന്റെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി ശെദേയൂരിന്റെ മകന് എലീസൂര്.

18. And the standard of the camp of Reuben moved forward according to their armies: and over his host [was] Elizur the son of Shedeur.

19. ശിമെയോന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി സൂരിശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകന് ശെലൂമിയേല്.

19. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon [was] Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

20. ഗാദ് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ദെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീയാസാഫ്.

20. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad [was] Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

21. അപ്പോള് കെഹാത്യര് വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങള് ചമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഇവര് എത്തുമ്പോഴേക്കു തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തുകഴിയും.

21. And the Kohathites moved forward, bearing the sanctuary: and [the other] set up the tabernacle for their coming.

22. പിന്നെ എഫ്രയീംമക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകന് എലീശാമാ.

22. And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim moved forward according to their armies: and over his host [was] Elishama the son of Ammihud.

23. മനശ്ശെമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി പെദാസൂരിന്റെ മകന് ഗമലീയേല്.

23. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh [was] Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

24. ബെന്യാമീന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഗിദെയോനിയുടെ മകന് അബീദാന് .

24. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin [was] Abidan the son of Gideoni.

25. പിന്നെ അവരുടെ എല്ലാപാളയങ്ങളിലും ഒടുവിലത്തേതായിരുന്ന ദാന് മക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകനായ അഹീയേസേര്.

25. And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan moved forward, [which was] the rear guard of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host [was] Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

26. ആശേര്മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഒക്രാന്റെ മകന് പഗീയേല്.

26. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher [was] Pagiel the son of Ocran.

27. നഫ്താലിമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഏനാന്റെ മകന് അഹീര.

27. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali [was] Ahira the son of Enan.

28. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് ഗണംഗണമായുള്ള അവരുടെ യാത്ര ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.

28. Thus [were] the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they moved forward.

29. പിന്നെ മോശെ തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനായ രെയൂവേല് എന്ന മിദ്യാനന്റെ മകനായ ഹോബാബിനോടുനിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഞാന് തരുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു ഞങ്ങള് യാത്രചെയ്യുന്നു; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു നന്മ ചൊല്ലിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വരിക; ഞങ്ങള് നിനക്കു നന്മചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

29. And Moses said to Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses ' father in law, We are journeying to the place of which the LORD said, I will give it to you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.

30. അവന് അവനോടുഞാന് വരുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ സ്വദേശത്തേക്കും ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഞാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30. And he said to him, I will not go; but I will depart to my own land, and to my kindred.

31. അതിന്നു അവന് ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകരുതേ; മരുഭൂമിയില് ഞങ്ങള് പാളയമിറങ്ങേണ്ടതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നു; നീ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കണ്ണായിരിക്കും.

31. And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.

32. ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോന്നാല് യഹോവ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ചെയ്യുന്ന നന്മപോലെ തന്നേ ഞങ്ങള് നിനക്കും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32. And it shall be, if thou wilt go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do to us, the same will we do to thee.

33. അനന്തരം അവര് യഹോവയുടെ പര്വ്വതം വിട്ടു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി പോയി; യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം അവര്ക്കും വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി മുമ്പോട്ടു പോയി.

33. And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days ' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days ' journey, to seek a resting place for them.

34. പാളയം പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘം പകല് സമയം അവര്ക്കും മീതെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

34. And the cloud of the LORD [was] upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.

35. പെട്ടകം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് മോശെയഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ചിതറുകയും നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറയും.

35. And it came to pass, when the ark moved forward, that Moses said, Arise, LORD, and let thy enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.

36. അതു വിശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോള് അവന് യഹോവേ, അനേകായിരമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങിവരേണമേ എന്നു പറയും.

36. And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, to the many thousands of Israel.
