1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

2. വെള്ളികൊണ്ടു രണ്ടു കാഹളം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക; അടിപ്പു പണിയായി അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കേണം; അവ നിനക്കു സഭയെ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുവാനും പാളയത്തെ പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പാനും ഉതകേണം.

2. Make to yourself two silver trumpets: you shall make them of hammered work; and they shall be to you for the purpose of calling the assembly, and of removing the camps.

3. അവ ഊതുമ്പോള് സഭ മുഴുവനും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടേണം.

3. And you shall sound with them, and all the congregation shall be gathered to the door of the tabernacle of witness.

4. ഒരു കാഹളം മാത്രം ഊതിയാല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരായ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടേണം.

4. And if they shall sound with one, all the rulers, even the princes of Israel, shall come to you.

5. ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോള് കിഴക്കെ പാളയങ്ങള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടേണം.

5. And you shall sound an alarm, and the camps pitched eastward shall begin to move.

6. രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോള് തെക്കെ പാളയങ്ങള് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവരുടെ പുറപ്പാടുകള്ക്കായി ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതേണം

6. And you shall sound a second alarm, and the camps pitched southward shall move; and you shall sound a third alarm, and the camps pitched westward shall move forward; and you shall sound a fourth alarm, and they that encamp toward the north shall move forward: they shall sound an alarm at their departure.

7. സഭയെ കൂട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഊതുമ്പോള് ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതരുതു.

7. And whenever you shall gather the assembly, you shall sound, but not an alarm.

8. അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് ആകുന്നു കാഹളം ഊതേണ്ടതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

8. And the priests, the sons of Aaron, shall sound with the trumpets; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for you throughout your generations.

9. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളെ ഞെരുക്കുന്ന ശത്രുവിന്റെ നേരെ നിങ്ങള് യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകുമ്പോള് ഗംഭീരധ്വനിയായി കാഹളം ഊതേണം; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്ത്തു ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കും.

9. And if you shall go forth to war in your land against your enemies that are opposed to you, then shall you sound with the trumpets; and you shall be had in remembrance before the Lord, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

10. നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷദിവസങ്ങളിലും ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലും മാസാരംഭങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങള് ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിക്കുമ്പോള് കാഹളം ഊതേണം; അവ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ജ്ഞാപകമായിരിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു.

10. And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, you shall sound with the trumpets at your whole burnt offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I [am] the Lord your God.

11. അനന്തരം രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം രണ്ടാം മാസം ഇരുപതാം തിയ്യതി മേഘം സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു പൊങ്ങി.

11. And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud went up from the tabernacle of witness.

12. അപ്പോള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു; മേഘം പാറാന് മരുഭൂമിയില് വന്നുനിന്നു.

12. And the children of Israel set forward with their baggage in the Wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the Wilderness of Paran.

13. യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവര് ഇങ്ങനെ ആദ്യമായി യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു.

13. And the first rank departed by the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.

14. യെഹൂദാമക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി ആദ്യം പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകന് നഹശോന് .

14. And they first set in motion the order of the camp of the children of Judah with their host; and over their host [was] Nahshon, son of Amminadab.

15. യിസ്സാഖാര്മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി സൂവാരിന്റെ മകന് നെഥനയേല്.

15. And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [was] Nathanel son of Zuar.

16. സെബൂലൂന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഹേലോന്റെ മകന് എലീയാബ്.

16. And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [was] Eliab the son of Helon.

17. അപ്പോള് തിരുനിവാസം അഴിച്ചു താഴ്ത്തി; ഗേര്ശോന്യരും മെരാര്യ്യരും തിരുനിവാസം ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

17. And they shall take down the tabernacle, and the sons of Gershon shall set forward, and the sons of Merari, who bear the tabernacle.

18. പിന്നെ രൂബേന്റെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി ശെദേയൂരിന്റെ മകന് എലീസൂര്.

18. And the order of the camp of Reuben set forward with their host; and over their host [was] Elisur the son of Sediur.

19. ശിമെയോന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി സൂരിശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകന് ശെലൂമിയേല്.

19. And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [was] Shelumiel son of Zuri-shaddai.

20. ഗാദ് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ദെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീയാസാഫ്.

20. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad [was] Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

21. അപ്പോള് കെഹാത്യര് വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങള് ചമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഇവര് എത്തുമ്പോഴേക്കു തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തുകഴിയും.

21. And the sons of Kohath shall set forward bearing the holy things, and [the others] shall set up the tabernacle until they arrive.

22. പിന്നെ എഫ്രയീംമക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകന് എലീശാമാ.

22. And the order of the camp of Ephraim shall set forward with their forces; and over their forces [was] Elishama the son of Sammihud.

23. മനശ്ശെമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി പെദാസൂരിന്റെ മകന് ഗമലീയേല്.

23. And over the forces of the tribes of the sons of Manasseh [was] Gamalliel the [son] of Pedahzur.

24. ബെന്യാമീന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഗിദെയോനിയുടെ മകന് അബീദാന് .

24. And over the forces of the tribe of the children of Benjamin [was] Abidan the [son] of Gideoni.

25. പിന്നെ അവരുടെ എല്ലാപാളയങ്ങളിലും ഒടുവിലത്തേതായിരുന്ന ദാന് മക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകനായ അഹീയേസേര്.

25. And the order of the camp of the sons of Dan shall set forward the last of all the camps, with their forces: and over their forces [was] Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

26. ആശേര്മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഒക്രാന്റെ മകന് പഗീയേല്.

26. And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Asher [was] Pagiel the son of Ocran.

27. നഫ്താലിമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഏനാന്റെ മകന് അഹീര.

27. And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [was] Ahira the son of Enan.

28. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് ഗണംഗണമായുള്ള അവരുടെ യാത്ര ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.

28. These [are] the armies of the children of Israel; and they set forward with their forces.

29. പിന്നെ മോശെ തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനായ രെയൂവേല് എന്ന മിദ്യാനന്റെ മകനായ ഹോബാബിനോടുനിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഞാന് തരുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു ഞങ്ങള് യാത്രചെയ്യുന്നു; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു നന്മ ചൊല്ലിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വരിക; ഞങ്ങള് നിനക്കു നന്മചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

29. And Moses said to Hobab the son of Jethro the Midianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We are going forward to the place concerning which the Lord said, This will I give to you: Come with us, and we will do you good, for the Lord has spoken good concerning Israel.

30. അവന് അവനോടുഞാന് വരുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ സ്വദേശത്തേക്കും ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഞാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30. And he said to him, I will not go, but [I will go] to my land and to my kindred.

31. അതിന്നു അവന് ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകരുതേ; മരുഭൂമിയില് ഞങ്ങള് പാളയമിറങ്ങേണ്ടതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നു; നീ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കണ്ണായിരിക്കും.

31. And he said, Leave us not, because you have been with us in the wilderness, and you shall be an elder among us.

32. ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോന്നാല് യഹോവ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ചെയ്യുന്ന നന്മപോലെ തന്നേ ഞങ്ങള് നിനക്കും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32. And it shall come to pass if you will go with us, it shall even come to pass that in whatsoever things the Lord shall do us good, we will also do you good.

33. അനന്തരം അവര് യഹോവയുടെ പര്വ്വതം വിട്ടു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി പോയി; യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം അവര്ക്കും വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി മുമ്പോട്ടു പോയി.

33. And they departed from the mount of the Lord a three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them, a three days' journey to provide rest for them.

34. പാളയം പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘം പകല് സമയം അവര്ക്കും മീതെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

34. And the cloud overshadowed them by day, when they departed from the camp.

35. പെട്ടകം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് മോശെയഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ചിതറുകയും നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറയും.

35. And it came to pass when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Arise, O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered: let all that hate You flee.

36. അതു വിശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോള് അവന് യഹോവേ, അനേകായിരമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങിവരേണമേ എന്നു പറയും.

36. And in the resting he said, Turn again, O Lord, the thousands [and] tens of thousands in Israel.
