1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the LORD spake unto Moses saying:

2. വെള്ളികൊണ്ടു രണ്ടു കാഹളം ഉണ്ടാക്കുക; അടിപ്പു പണിയായി അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കേണം; അവ നിനക്കു സഭയെ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുവാനും പാളയത്തെ പുറപ്പെടുവിപ്പാനും ഉതകേണം.

2. Make thee two trumpets of hard(beaten) silver, that thou mayst use them to call the congregation together, and when the host shall journey.

3. അവ ഊതുമ്പോള് സഭ മുഴുവനും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടേണം.

3. When they blow with them, all the multitude shall resort to thee, unto the door of the tabernacle of witness.

4. ഒരു കാഹളം മാത്രം ഊതിയാല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരായ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടേണം.

4. If but one trumpet blow only, then the princes which are heads over the thousands of Israel shall come unto thee.

5. ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോള് കിഴക്കെ പാളയങ്ങള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടേണം.

5. And when ye trump the first time, the hosts that lie on the east parts shall go forward.

6. രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതുമ്പോള് തെക്കെ പാളയങ്ങള് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവരുടെ പുറപ്പാടുകള്ക്കായി ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതേണം

6. And when ye trump the second time, then the hosts that lie on the south side shall take their journey: for they shall trump when they take their journeys.

7. സഭയെ കൂട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഊതുമ്പോള് ഗംഭീരധ്വനി ഊതരുതു.

7. And in gathering the congregation together, ye shall blow and not trump.

8. അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് ആകുന്നു കാഹളം ഊതേണ്ടതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

8. And the sons of Aaron the priests shall blow the trumpets and shall have them and it shall be a law unto you for ever and among your children after you.

9. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളെ ഞെരുക്കുന്ന ശത്രുവിന്റെ നേരെ നിങ്ങള് യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകുമ്പോള് ഗംഭീരധ്വനിയായി കാഹളം ഊതേണം; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്ത്തു ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കും.

9. And when ye shall go to war in your land against your enemies that vex you, ye shall trump with the trumpets and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God and saved from your enemies.

10. നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തോഷദിവസങ്ങളിലും ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലും മാസാരംഭങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങള് ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും കഴിക്കുമ്പോള് കാഹളം ഊതേണം; അവ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ജ്ഞാപകമായിരിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു.

10. Also when ye be merry in your feast days and in the first days of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt sacrifices and peaceofferings, that it may be a remembrance of you before your God. I am the LORD(lorde) your God.

11. അനന്തരം രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം രണ്ടാം മാസം ഇരുപതാം തിയ്യതി മേഘം സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്മേല്നിന്നു പൊങ്ങി.

11. And it came to pass the twentieth day of the second month in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the habitation of witness.

12. അപ്പോള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു; മേഘം പാറാന് മരുഭൂമിയില് വന്നുനിന്നു.

12. And the children of Israel took their journey out of the desert of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.

13. യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവര് ഇങ്ങനെ ആദ്യമായി യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു.

13. And the first took their journey at the mouth of the LORD, by the hand of Moses:

14. യെഹൂദാമക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി ആദ്യം പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകന് നഹശോന് .

14. even the standard of the host of Juda removed first with their armies, whose captain was Nahesson the son of Aminadab.

15. യിസ്സാഖാര്മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി സൂവാരിന്റെ മകന് നെഥനയേല്.

15. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Isachar, was Nathanael the son of Zuar.

16. സെബൂലൂന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഹേലോന്റെ മകന് എലീയാബ്.

16. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zabulon, was Eliab the son of Helon.

17. അപ്പോള് തിരുനിവാസം അഴിച്ചു താഴ്ത്തി; ഗേര്ശോന്യരും മെരാര്യ്യരും തിരുനിവാസം ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

17. And the habitation was taken down: and the sons of Gerson and Merari went forth bearing the habitation.

18. പിന്നെ രൂബേന്റെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി ശെദേയൂരിന്റെ മകന് എലീസൂര്.

18. Then the standard of the host of Ruben went forth with their armies, whose captain was Elizur the son of Sedeur.

19. ശിമെയോന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി സൂരിശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകന് ശെലൂമിയേല്.

19. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon, was Salamiel the son of Zuri saddai.

20. ഗാദ് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ദെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീയാസാഫ്.

20. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deguel.

21. അപ്പോള് കെഹാത്യര് വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങള് ചമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഇവര് എത്തുമ്പോഴേക്കു തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തുകഴിയും.

21. Then the Cahathites went forward and bare the holy things, and the other did set up the habitation against they came.

22. പിന്നെ എഫ്രയീംമക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകന് എലീശാമാ.

22. Then the standard of the host of the children of Ephraim went forth with their armies, whose captain was Elisama the son of Amiud.

23. മനശ്ശെമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി പെദാസൂരിന്റെ മകന് ഗമലീയേല്.

23. And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasse, was Gamaliel the son of Pedazur.

24. ബെന്യാമീന് മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഗിദെയോനിയുടെ മകന് അബീദാന് .

24. And over the host of the tribe of the sons of BenJamin, was Abidan the son of Gedeoni.

25. പിന്നെ അവരുടെ എല്ലാപാളയങ്ങളിലും ഒടുവിലത്തേതായിരുന്ന ദാന് മക്കളുടെ കൊടിക്കീഴുള്ള പാളയം ഗണംഗണമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവരുടെ സേനാപതി അമ്മീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകനായ അഹീയേസേര്.

25. And hindmost of all the host came the standard of the host of the children of Dan with their armies: whose captain was, Ahiezar the son of Ammi Saddai.

26. ആശേര്മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഒക്രാന്റെ മകന് പഗീയേല്.

26. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asser, was Pagiel the son of Ochran.

27. നഫ്താലിമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ സേനാപതി ഏനാന്റെ മകന് അഹീര.

27. And over the host of the tribe of the children of Nephthali, was Ahira the son of Enan,

28. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് ഗണംഗണമായുള്ള അവരുടെ യാത്ര ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.

28. of this manner were the journeys of the children of Israel, with their armies when they removed.

29. പിന്നെ മോശെ തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനായ രെയൂവേല് എന്ന മിദ്യാനന്റെ മകനായ ഹോബാബിനോടുനിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഞാന് തരുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു ഞങ്ങള് യാത്രചെയ്യുന്നു; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു നന്മ ചൊല്ലിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വരിക; ഞങ്ങള് നിനക്കു നന്മചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

29. And Moses said unto Hobab the son of Raguel the Madianite, Moses' father-in-law: we go unto the place of which the LORD said I will give it you. Go with us and we will do thee good, for the LORD hath promised good unto Israel.

30. അവന് അവനോടുഞാന് വരുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ സ്വദേശത്തേക്കും ചാര്ച്ചക്കാരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഞാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30. And he said unto him: I will not: but will go to mine own land and to my kindred.

31. അതിന്നു അവന് ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകരുതേ; മരുഭൂമിയില് ഞങ്ങള് പാളയമിറങ്ങേണ്ടതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നു; നീ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കണ്ണായിരിക്കും.

31. And Moses said, oh nay, leave us not, for thou knowest where is best for us to pitch in the wilderness: and thou shalt be our eyes.

32. ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോന്നാല് യഹോവ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ചെയ്യുന്ന നന്മപോലെ തന്നേ ഞങ്ങള് നിനക്കും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32. And if thou go with us, look what goodness the LORD sheweth upon us, the same we will shew upon thee.

33. അനന്തരം അവര് യഹോവയുടെ പര്വ്വതം വിട്ടു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി പോയി; യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം അവര്ക്കും വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലം അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി മുമ്പോട്ടു പോയി.

33. And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey, and the ark of the testament of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey to search out a resting place for them.

34. പാളയം പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ മേഘം പകല് സമയം അവര്ക്കും മീതെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

34. And the cloud of the LORD was over them by day, when they went out of the tents.

35. പെട്ടകം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് മോശെയഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ചിതറുകയും നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിന്നു ഔടിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറയും.

35. And when the ark went forth, Moses said: Rise up LORD and let thine enemies be scattered, and let them that hate thee flee before thee.

36. അതു വിശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോള് അവന് യഹോവേ, അനേകായിരമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങിവരേണമേ എന്നു പറയും.

36. And when the ark rested, he said: return LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.
