1. ഇതു സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടു യേശു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തേക്കു നോക്കി പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്പിതാവേ, നാഴിക വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ പുത്രന് നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു പുത്രനെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.

1. These thingis Jhesus spak, and whanne he hadde cast vp hise iyen in to heuene, he seide, Fadir, the our cometh, clarifie thi sone, that thi sone clarifie thee.

2. നീ അവന്നു നല്കീട്ടുള്ളവര്ക്കെല്ലാവര്ക്കും അവന് നിത്യജീവനെ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ സകല ജഡത്തിന്മേലും അവന്നു അധികരാം നല്ക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

2. As thou hast youun to hym power on ech fleisch, that al thing that thou hast youun to hym, he yyue to hem euerlastynge lijf.

3. ഏകസത്യദൈവമായ നിന്നെയും നീ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെയും അറിയുന്നതു തന്നേ നിത്യജീവന് ആകുന്നു.

3. And this is euerlastynge lijf, that thei knowe thee very God aloone, and whom thou hast sent, Jhesu Crist.

4. ഞാന് ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി, നീ എനിക്കു ചെയ്വാന് തന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി തികെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. Y haue clarified thee on the erthe, Y haue endid the werk, that thou hast youun to me to do.

5. ഇപ്പോള് പിതാവേ, ലോകം ഉണ്ടാകുംമുമ്പെ എനിക്കു നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മഹത്വത്തില് എന്നെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.

5. And now, fadir, clarifie thou me at thi silf, with the clerenesse that Y hadde at thee, bifor the world was maad.

6. നീ ലോകത്തില്നിന്നു എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര് നിനക്കുള്ളവര് ആയിരുന്നു; നീ അവരെ എനിക്കു തന്നു; അവര് നിന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Y haue schewid thi name to tho men, whiche thou hast youun to me of the world; thei weren thine, and thou hast youun hem to me, and thei han kept thi word.

7. നീ എനിക്കു തന്നതു എല്ലാം നിന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നു ആകുന്നു എന്നു അവര് ഇപ്പോള് അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. And now thei han knowun, that alle thingis that thou hast youun to me, ben of thee.

8. നീ എനിക്കു തന്ന വചനം ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അവര് അതു കൈക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സത്യമായിട്ടു അറിഞ്ഞും നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചു എന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. For the wordis that thou hast youun to me, Y yaf to hem; and thei han takun, and han knowun verili, that Y wente out fro thee; and thei bileueden, that thou sentist me.

9. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ലോകത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി അല്ല; നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ളവര് നിനക്കുള്ളവര് ആകകൊണ്ടു അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടിയത്രേ ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

9. Y preie for hem, Y preye not for the world, but for hem that thou hast youun to me, for thei ben thine.

10. എന്റേതു എല്ലാം നിന്റേതും നിന്റേതു എന്റേതും ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് അവരില് മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. And alle my thingis ben thine, and thi thingis ben myne; and Y am clarified in hem.

11. ഇനി ഞാന് ലോകത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഇവരോ ലോകത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നു. പരിശുദ്ധപിതാവേ, അവര് നമ്മെപ്പോലെ ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് അവരെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളേണമേ.

11. And now Y am not in the world, and these ben in the world, and Y come to thee. Hooli fadir, kepe hem in thi name, whiche thou yauest to me, that thei ben oon, as we ben.

12. അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നപ്പോള് ഞാന് അവരെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ഞാന് അവരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു; തിരുവെഴുത്തിന്നു നിവൃത്തി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ആ നാശയോഗ്യനല്ലാതെ അവരില് ആരും നശിച്ചുപോയിട്ടില്ല.

12. While Y was with hem, Y kepte hem in thi name; thilke that thou yauest to me, Y kepte, and noon of hem perischide, but the sone of perdicioun, that the scripture be fulfillid.

13. ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നു; എന്റെ സന്തോഷം അവര്ക്കും ഉള്ളില് പൂര്ണ്ണമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു ലോകത്തില്വെച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

13. But now Y come to thee, and Y speke these thingis in the world, that thei haue my ioie fulfillid in hem silf.

14. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും നിന്റെ വചനം കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ലൌകികനല്ലാത്തതുപോലെ അവരും ലൌകികന്മാരല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ലോകം അവരെ പകെച്ചു.

14. Y yaf to hem thi word, and the world hadde hem in hate; for thei ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.

15. അവരെ ലോകത്തില് നിന്നു എടുക്കേണം എന്നല്ല, ദുഷ്ടന്റെ കയ്യില് അകപ്പെടാതവണ്ണം അവരെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നത്രേ ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

15. Y preye not, that thou take hem awei fro the world, but that thou kepe hem fro yuel.

16. ഞാന് ലൌകികനല്ലാത്തതുപോലെ അവരും ലൌകികന്മാരല്ല.

16. They ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.

17. സത്യത്താല് അവരെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണമേ, നിന്റെ വചനം സത്യം ആകുന്നു.

17. Halewe thou hem in treuth; thi word is treuthe.

18. നീ എന്നെ ലോകത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് അവരെയും ലോകത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

18. As thou sentist me in to the world, also Y sente hem `in to the world.

19. അവരും സാക്ഷാല് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു.

19. And Y halewe my silf for hem, that also thei ben halewid in treuthe.

20. ഇവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടിമാത്രമല്ല, ഇവരുടെ വചനത്താല് എന്നില് വിശ്വസിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടിയും ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

20. And Y preye not oneli for hem, but also for hem that schulden bileue in to me bi the word of hem;

21. നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ലോകം വിശ്വസിപ്പാന് അവര് എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു, പിതാവേ, നീ എന്നിലും ഞാന് നിന്നിലും ആകുന്നതുപോലെ അവരും നമ്മില് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

21. that all ben oon, as thou, fadir, in me, and Y in thee, that also thei in vs be oon; that the world bileue, that thou hast sent me.

22. നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള മഹത്വം ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു;

22. And Y haue youun to hem the clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me, that thei ben oon,

23. നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും നീ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവരെയും സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നും ലോകം അറിവാന് , നാം ഒന്നായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവരും ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അവരിലും നീ എന്നിലുമായി അവര് ഐക്യത്തില് തികെഞ്ഞവരായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നെ.

23. as we ben oon; Y in hem, and thou in me, that thei be endid in to oon; and that the world knowe, that thou sentist me, and hast loued hem, as thou hast loued also me.

24. പിതാവേ, നീ ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചരിക്കകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു നല്കിയ മഹത്വം നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ളവര് കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഇടത്തു അവരും എന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു.
സദൃശ്യവാക്യങ്ങൾ 8:22-25

24. Fadir, thei whiche thou yauest to me, Y wole that where Y am, that thei be with me, that thei see my clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me; for thou louedist me bifor the makyng of the world.

25. നീതിയുള്ള പിതാവേ, ലോകം നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല; ഞാനോ നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഇവരും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. Fadir, riytfuli the world knew thee not, but Y knew thee, and these knewen, that thou sentist me.

26. നീ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന സ്നേഹം അവരില് ആകുവാനും ഞാന് അവരില് ആകുവാനും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമം അവര്ക്കും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനിയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും.

26. And Y haue maad thi name knowun to hem, and schal make knowun; that the loue bi which thou `hast loued me, be in hem, and Y in hem.
