1. ഇതു സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടു യേശു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തേക്കു നോക്കി പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്പിതാവേ, നാഴിക വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ പുത്രന് നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു പുത്രനെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.

1. These wordes spake Iesus, and lift vp his eyes to heauen, and sayde: Father, the houre is come, glorifie thy sonne that thy sonne also may glorifie thee:

2. നീ അവന്നു നല്കീട്ടുള്ളവര്ക്കെല്ലാവര്ക്കും അവന് നിത്യജീവനെ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ സകല ജഡത്തിന്മേലും അവന്നു അധികരാം നല്ക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

2. As thou hast geuen hym power ouer all fleshe, that he shoulde geue eternall life, to as many as thou hast geuen him.

3. ഏകസത്യദൈവമായ നിന്നെയും നീ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെയും അറിയുന്നതു തന്നേ നിത്യജീവന് ആകുന്നു.

3. This is lyfe eternall, that they myght knowe thee, the only true God, & Iesus Christe whom thou hast sent.

4. ഞാന് ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി, നീ എനിക്കു ചെയ്വാന് തന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി തികെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. I haue glorified thee on the earth: I haue finished ye worke, which thou gauest me to do.

5. ഇപ്പോള് പിതാവേ, ലോകം ഉണ്ടാകുംമുമ്പെ എനിക്കു നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മഹത്വത്തില് എന്നെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ.

5. And nowe glorifie thou me, O father, with thine owne selfe, with the glory which I had with thee yer the worlde was.

6. നീ ലോകത്തില്നിന്നു എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര് നിനക്കുള്ളവര് ആയിരുന്നു; നീ അവരെ എനിക്കു തന്നു; അവര് നിന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. I haue declared thy name vnto ye men, which thou gauest me out of ye world. Thyne they were, and thou gauest the me, and they haue kepte thy worde.

7. നീ എനിക്കു തന്നതു എല്ലാം നിന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നു ആകുന്നു എന്നു അവര് ഇപ്പോള് അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. Nowe they haue knowen yt al thinges whatsoeuer yu hast geuen me are of thee.

8. നീ എനിക്കു തന്ന വചനം ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അവര് അതു കൈക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സത്യമായിട്ടു അറിഞ്ഞും നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചു എന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. For I haue geuen vnto them ye wordes which thou gauest me, and they haue receaued them, and haue knowe surely that I came out from thee, & they haue beleued, that thou dyddest sende me.

9. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ലോകത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി അല്ല; നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ളവര് നിനക്കുള്ളവര് ആകകൊണ്ടു അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടിയത്രേ ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

9. I pray for them: I pray not for the worlde, but for them which thou hast geuen me, for they are thyne.

10. എന്റേതു എല്ലാം നിന്റേതും നിന്റേതു എന്റേതും ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് അവരില് മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. And all myne are thyne, and thyne are myne, and I am glorified in them.

11. ഇനി ഞാന് ലോകത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഇവരോ ലോകത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നു. പരിശുദ്ധപിതാവേ, അവര് നമ്മെപ്പോലെ ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് അവരെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളേണമേ.

11. And nowe am I not in the worlde, and they are in the worlde, and I come to thee. Holy father, kepe through thine owne name, the which thou hast geuen me, that they may also be one, as we are.

12. അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നപ്പോള് ഞാന് അവരെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ഞാന് അവരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു; തിരുവെഴുത്തിന്നു നിവൃത്തി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ആ നാശയോഗ്യനല്ലാതെ അവരില് ആരും നശിച്ചുപോയിട്ടില്ല.

12. Whyle I was with them in ye worlde, I kept them in thy name. Those that thou gauest me, haue I kept, and none of them is lost, but that lost chylde, that the scripture myght be fulfylled.

13. ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നു; എന്റെ സന്തോഷം അവര്ക്കും ഉള്ളില് പൂര്ണ്ണമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു ലോകത്തില്വെച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

13. Nowe come I to thee, and these wordes speake I in the worlde, that they myght haue my ioy fulfylled in them seues.

14. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും നിന്റെ വചനം കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ലൌകികനല്ലാത്തതുപോലെ അവരും ലൌകികന്മാരല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു ലോകം അവരെ പകെച്ചു.

14. I haue geuen them thy worde, and the worlde hath hated them, because they are not of the worlde, euen as I also am not of the worlde.

15. അവരെ ലോകത്തില് നിന്നു എടുക്കേണം എന്നല്ല, ദുഷ്ടന്റെ കയ്യില് അകപ്പെടാതവണ്ണം അവരെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നത്രേ ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

15. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the worlde: but that thou kepe them from euyll.

16. ഞാന് ലൌകികനല്ലാത്തതുപോലെ അവരും ലൌകികന്മാരല്ല.

16. They are not of the worlde, as I also am not of the worlde.

17. സത്യത്താല് അവരെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണമേ, നിന്റെ വചനം സത്യം ആകുന്നു.

17. Sanctifie them through thy trueth. Thy worde is the trueth.

18. നീ എന്നെ ലോകത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് അവരെയും ലോകത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

18. As thou diddest sende me into ye world, eue so haue I also sent the into ye world.

19. അവരും സാക്ഷാല് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു.

19. And for their sakes sanctifie I my selfe, that they also myght be sanctified through the trueth.

20. ഇവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടിമാത്രമല്ല, ഇവരുടെ വചനത്താല് എന്നില് വിശ്വസിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടിയും ഞാന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

20. [Neuerthelesse,] I pray not for them alone: but for the also, which shall beleue on me through their preachyng:

21. നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ലോകം വിശ്വസിപ്പാന് അവര് എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു, പിതാവേ, നീ എന്നിലും ഞാന് നിന്നിലും ആകുന്നതുപോലെ അവരും നമ്മില് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

21. That they all may be one, as thou father art in me, and I in thee, and that they also may be one in vs: that ye world may beleue, that thou hast sent me.

22. നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള മഹത്വം ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു;

22. And the glorie which thou gauest me, I haue geuen them, that they may be one, as we also are one.

23. നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും നീ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവരെയും സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നും ലോകം അറിവാന് , നാം ഒന്നായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവരും ഒന്നാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അവരിലും നീ എന്നിലുമായി അവര് ഐക്യത്തില് തികെഞ്ഞവരായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നെ.

23. I in them, and thou in me: that they may be made perfecte in one, and that the worlde may knowe that thou hast sent me, and hast loued them, as thou hast loued me.

24. പിതാവേ, നീ ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചരിക്കകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു നല്കിയ മഹത്വം നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ളവര് കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഇടത്തു അവരും എന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു.
സദൃശ്യവാക്യങ്ങൾ 8:22-25

24. Father, I wyll that they which thou hast geuen me, be with me where I am, that they may see my glorie which thou hast geuen me. For thou louedst me, before the foundation of the world.

25. നീതിയുള്ള പിതാവേ, ലോകം നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല; ഞാനോ നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഇവരും അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. O ryghteous father, the worlde [also] hath not knowen thee: But I haue knowen thee, and these haue knowen that thou hast sent me.

26. നീ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന സ്നേഹം അവരില് ആകുവാനും ഞാന് അവരില് ആകുവാനും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമം അവര്ക്കും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനിയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും.

26. And I haue declared vnto them thy name, and wyll declare it, that the loue wherewith thou hast loued me, may be in them, and I in them.
