1. അനന്തരം യേശു തിബെര്യ്യാസ് എന്ന ഗലീലക്കടലിന്റെ അക്കരെക്കു പോയി.

1. After this wente Iesus ouer the see vnto the cite Tiberias in Galilee.

2. അവന് രോഗികളില് ചെയ്യുന്ന അടയാളങ്ങളെ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഒരു വലിയ പുരുഷാരം അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

2. And moch people folowed him, because they sawe the tokens that he dyd vpon the which were diseased.

3. യേശു മലയില് കയറി ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അവിടെ ഇരുന്നു.

3. But Iesus wete vp in to a mountayne, and there he sat with his disciples.

4. യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പെസഹ പെരുന്നാള് അടുത്തിരുന്നു.

4. And Easter ye feast of the Iewes was nye.

5. യേശു വലിയൊരു പുരുഷാരം തന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു ഫിലിപ്പൊസിനോടുഇവര്ക്കും തിന്നുവാന് നാം എവിടെ നിന്നു അപ്പം വാങ്ങും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

5. Then Iesus lift vp his eyes, and sawe yt there came moch people vnto him, and he sayde vnto Philippe: Whence shal we bye bred, yt these maye eate?

6. ഇതു അവനെ പരീക്ഷിപ്പാനത്രേ ചോദിച്ചതു; താന് എന്തു ചെയ്വാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു താന് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

6. But this he sayde to proue him, for he himself knewe, what he wolde do.

7. ഫിലിപ്പൊസ് അവനോടുഔരോരുത്തന്നു അല്പമല്പം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇരുനൂറു പണത്തിന്നു അപ്പം മതിയാകയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

7. Philippe answered him: Two hundreth peny worth of bred is not ynough amonge the, yt euery one maye take a litle.

8. ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തനായി ശിമോന് പത്രൊസിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അന്ത്രെയാസ് അവനോടു

8. The sayde vnto hi one of his disciples, Andrew ye brother of Symo Peter:

9. ഇവിടെ ഒരു ബാലകന് ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ പക്കല് അഞ്ചു യവത്തപ്പവും രണ്ടു മീനും ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും ഇത്രപേര്ക്കും അതു എന്തുള്ളു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. There is a lad here, yt hath fyue barlye loaues, and two fishes, but what is that amoge so many?

10. ആളുകളെ ഇരുത്തുവിന് എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞു. ആ സ്ഥലത്തു വളരെ പുല്ലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അയ്യായിരത്തോളം പുരുഷന്മാര് ഇരുന്നു.

10. Iesus sayde: Make the people syt downe. There was moch grasse in the place. Then they sat the downe, aboute a fyue thousande men.

11. പിന്നെ യേശു അപ്പം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി, ഇരുന്നവര്ക്കും പങ്കിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ മീനും വേണ്ടുന്നേടത്തോളം കൊടുത്തു.

11. Iesus toke the loaues, thanked, and gaue them to the disciples: the disciples (gaue) to them that were set downe. Likewyse also of the fishes as moch as they wolde.

12. അവര്ക്കും തൃപ്തിയായശേഷം അവന് ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുശേഷിച്ച കഷണം ഒന്നും നഷ്ടമാക്കാതെ ശേഖരിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

12. Whan they were fylled, he sayde vnto his disciples: Gather vp the broken meate that remayneth, that nothinge be lost.

13. അഞ്ചു യവത്തപ്പത്തില് തിന്നു ശേഷിച്ച കഷണം അവര് ശേഖരിച്ചു പന്ത്രണ്ടു കൊട്ട നിറച്ചെടുത്തു.

13. The they gathered, and fylled twolue baskettes with the broke meate, that remayned of the fyue barlye loaues, vnto them which had eaten.

14. അവന് ചെയ്ത അടയാളം ആളുകള് കണ്ടിട്ടുലോകത്തിലേക്കു വരുവാനുള്ള പ്രവാചകന് ഇവന് ആകുന്നു സത്യം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14. Now whan the men sawe the token yt Iesus dyd, they saide: This is of a trueth the Prophet, yt shulde come into the worlde.

15. അവര് വന്നു തന്നെ പിടിച്ചു രാജാവാക്കുവാന് ഭാവിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യേശു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു പിന്നെയും തനിച്ചു മലയിലേക്കു വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

15. Whan Iesus now perceaued that they wolde come, and take him vp, to make him kynge, he gat him awaye agayne in to a mountayne himself alone.

16. സന്ധ്യയായപ്പോള് ശിഷ്യന്മാര് കടല്പുറത്തേക്കു ഇറങ്ങി

16. At euen wente his disciples downe to ye see,

17. പടകുകയറി കടലക്കരെ കഫര്ന്നഹൂമിലേക്കു യാത്രയായി; ഇരുട്ടായശേഷവും യേശു അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് വന്നിരുന്നില്ല.

17. and entred in to the shippe, and came to the other syde of ye see vnto Capernau. And it was darcke allready. And Iesus was not come to the.

18. കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു അടിക്കയാല് കടല് കോപിച്ചു.

18. And ye see arose thorow a greate wynde.

19. അവര് നാലു അഞ്ചു നാഴിക ദൂരത്തോളം വലിച്ചശേഷം യേശു കടലിന്മേല് നടന്നു പടകിനോടു സമീപിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു പേടിച്ചു.

19. Now whan they had rowed vpo a fyue and twetie or thirtie furlonges, they sawe Iesus goinge vpon the see, and came nye to the shippe. And they were afrayed.

20. അവന് അവരോടുഞാന് ആകുന്നു; പേടിക്കേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

20. But he sayde vnto them: It is I, be not afrayed.

21. അവര് അവനെ പടകില് കയറ്റുവാന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചു; ഉടനെ പടകു അവര് പോകുന്ന ദേശത്തു എത്തിപ്പോയി.

21. Then wolde they haue receaued him in to ye shippe. And immediatly ye shippe was at the londe whither they wente.

22. പിറ്റെന്നാള് കടല്ക്കരെ നിന്ന പുരുഷാരം ഒരു പടകല്ലാതെ അവിടെ വേറെ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നും, യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ പടകില് കയറാതെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര് മാത്രം പോയിരുന്നു എന്നും ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

22. The nexte daye after, the people which stode on the other syde of the see, sawe that there was none other shippe there saue that one, wherin to his disciples were entred: and that Iesus wete not in with his disciples in to the shippe, but yt his disciples were gone awaie alone.

23. എന്നാല് കര്ത്താവു വാഴ്ത്തീട്ടു അവര് അപ്പം തിന്ന സ്ഥലത്തിന്നരികെ തിബെര്യ്യാസില്നിന്നു ചെറുപടകുകള് എത്തിയിരുന്നു.

23. Howbeit there came other shippes from Tiberias, nye vnto ye place where they had eate the bred, after yt the LORDE had geuen thankes.

24. യേശു അവിടെ ഇല്ല ശിഷ്യന്മാരും ഇല്ല എന്നു പുരുഷാരം കണ്ടപ്പോള് തങ്ങളും പടകു കയറി യേശുവിനെ തിരഞ്ഞു കഫര്ന്നഹൂമില് എത്തി.

24. Now whan the people sawe that Iesus was not there, nether his disciples, they toke shippe also, and came to Capernaum, and sought Iesus.

25. കടലക്കരെ അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയപ്പോള്റബ്ബീ, നീ എപ്പോള് ഇവിടെ വന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നുയേശു

25. And whan they founde him on the other syde of the see, they sayde vnto him: Master, whan camest thou hither?

26. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് അടയാളം കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടല്ല, അപ്പം തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതു.

26. Iesus answered the, & sayde: Verely verely I saye vnto you: Ye seke me not because ye sawe ye tokes, but because ye ate of the loaues, and were fylled.

27. നശിച്ചുപോകുന്ന ആഹാരത്തിന്നായിട്ടല്ല, നിത്യജീവങ്കലേക്കു നിലനിലക്കുന്ന ആഹാരത്തിന്നായിട്ടു തന്നേ പ്രവര്ത്തിപ്പിന് ; അതു മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരും. അവനെ പിതാവായ ദൈവം മുദ്രയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

27. Laboure not for the meate which perisheth but yt endureth vnto euerlastinge life, which the sonne of ma shal geue you: For him hath God the father sealed.

28. അവര് അവനോടു ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തികളെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

28. The sayde they vnto him: What shal we do, that we maye worke ye workes of God?

29. യേശു അവരോടുദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തി അവന് അയച്ചവനില് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതത്രേ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

29. Iesus answered, and sayde vnto the: This is the worke of God, that ye beleue on him, whom he hath sent.

30. അവര് അവനോടുഞങ്ങള് കണ്ടു നിന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്തു അടയാളം ചെയ്യുന്നു? എന്തു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു?

30. Then sayde they vnto him: What token doest thou the, that we maye se and beleue ye? What workest thou?

31. നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് മരുഭൂമിയില് മന്നാ തിന്നു; അവര്ക്കും തിന്നുവാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു അപ്പം കൊടുത്തു എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

31. Oure fathers ate Mana in the wyldernesse, as it is wrytte: He gaue the bred fro heauen to eate.

32. യേശു അവരോടുആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുസ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നുള്ള അപ്പം മോശെയല്ല നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നതു, എന്റെ പിതാവത്രേ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നുള്ള സാക്ഷാല് അപ്പം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്നതു.

32. Then sayde Iesus vnto the: Verely verely I saye vnto you: Moses gaue you not bred from heaue, but my father geueth you the true bred from heauen:

33. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അപ്പമോ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു ലോകത്തിന്നു ജീവനെ കൊടുക്കുന്നതു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

33. For this is that bred of God, which commeth from heauen, and geueth life vnto the worlde.

34. അവര് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, ഈ അപ്പം എപ്പോഴും ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു തരേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

34. The sayde they vnto him: Syr, geue vs allwaye soch bred.

35. യേശു അവരോടുപറഞ്ഞതുഞാന് ജീവന്റെ അപ്പം ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നവന്നു വിശക്കയില്ല; എന്നില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഒരു നാളും ദാഹിക്കയുമില്ല.

35. But Iesus sayde vnto the: I am yt bred of life. He that cometh vnto me, shal not huger: & he that beleueth on me, shal neuer thyrst.

36. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ കണ്ടിട്ടും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

36. But I haue sayde vnto you, yt ye haue sene me, and yet ye beleue not.

37. പിതാവു എനിക്കു തരുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും; എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നവനെ ഞാന് ഒരുനാളും തള്ളിക്കളകയില്ല.

37. All that my father geueth me, cometh vnto me: and who so cometh vnto me, him wyl not I cast out:

38. ഞാന് എന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമത്രേ ചെയ്വാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു.

38. for I am come downe from heaue, not to do myne awne wyll, but the wyll of him that hath sent me.

39. അവന് എനിക്കു തന്നതില് ഒന്നും ഞാന് കളയാതെ എല്ലാം ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കേണം എന്നാകുന്നു എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം.

39. This is ye will of the father, which hath sent me, that of all that he hath geue me, I shulde lose nothinge, but shulde rayse it vp agayne at the last daye.

40. പുത്രനെ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു അവനില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും നിത്യജീവന് ഉണ്ടാകേണമെന്നാകുന്നു എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം; ഞാന് അവനെ ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും.

40. This is the wyl of him which hath sent me, that, who soeuer seyth the sonne and beleueth on him, haue euerlastinge life, and I shal rayse him vp at the last daye.

41. ഞാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന അപ്പം എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതിനാല് യെഹൂദന്മാര് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പിറുപിറുത്തു

41. The murmured the Iewes ther ouer, that he sayde: I am yt bred which is come downe from heaue,

42. ഇവന് യോസേഫിന്റെ പുത്രനായ യേശു അല്ലയോ? അവന്റെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; പിന്നെ ഞാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു എന്നു അവന് പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

42. and they sayde: Is not this Iesus, Iosephs sonne, whose father and mother we knowe? How sayeth he then, I am come downe from heauen?

43. യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് തമ്മില് പിറുപിറുക്കേണ്ടാ;

43. Iesus answered, and sayde vnto them: Murmur not amonge youre selues.

44. എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവു ആകര്ഷിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാതെ ആര്ക്കും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവാന് കഴികയില്ല; ഞാന് ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് അവനെ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും.

44. No man can come vnto me, excepte the father which hath sent me, drawe him. And I shal rayse him vp at the last daye.

45. എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്താല് ഉപദേശിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകും എന്നു പ്രവാചകപുസ്തകങ്ങളില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പിതാവിനോടു കേട്ടുപഠിച്ചവന് എല്ലാം എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും.

45. It is wrytten in the prophetes: They shal all be taught of God. Who so euer now heareth it of the father, and lerneth it, commeth vnto me.

46. പിതാവിനെ ആരെങ്കിലും കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നല്ല, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു വന്നവന് മാത്രമേ പിതാവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള.

46. Not that eny man hath sene the father, saue he which is of the father, the same hath sene the father.

47. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളൊടു പറയുന്നുവിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവന് ഉണ്ടു.

47. Verely verely I saye vnto you: He that beleueth on me, hath euerlastinge life.

48. ഞാന് ജീവന്റെ അപ്പം ആകുന്നു.

48. I am that bred of life.

49. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് മരുഭൂമിയില് മന്നാ തിന്നിട്ടും മരിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

49. Youre fathers ate Manna in the wyldernes, and are deed.

50. ഇതോ തിന്നുന്നവന് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുന്ന അപ്പം ആകുന്നു.

50. This is that bred which commeth from heauen, that who so eateth therof, shulde not dye.

51. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിയ ജീവനുള്ള അപ്പം ഞാന് ആകുന്നു; ഈ അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നവന് എല്ലാം എന്നേക്കും ജീവിക്കും; ഞാന് കൊടുപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്ന അപ്പമോ ലോകത്തിന്റെ ജീവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഞാന് കൊടുക്കുന്ന എന്റെ മാംസം ആകുന്നു.

51. I am that lyuynge bred, which came downe fro heauen: Who so eateth of this bred, shal lyue for euer. And the bred that I wil geue, is my flesh which I wil geue for ye life of the worlde.

52. ആകയാല് യെഹൂദന്മാര്നമുക്കു തന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നേണ്ടതിന്നു തരുവാന് ഇവന്നു എങ്ങനെ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തമ്മില് വാദിച്ചു.

52. Then stroue the Iewes amonge them selues, and sayde: How ca this folowe geue vs his flesh to eate?

53. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നാതെയും അവന്റെ രക്തം കുടിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഉള്ളില് ജീവന് ഇല്ല.

53. Iesus sayde vnto the: Verely verely I saye vnto you: Excepte ye eate ye flesh of ye sonne of man and drynke his bloude, ye haue no life in you.

54. എന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നുകയും എന്റെ രക്തം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവന് ഉണ്ടു; ഞാന് ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് അവനെ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും.

54. Who so eateth my flesh, and drynketh my bloude, hath euerlastinge life: and I shal rayse him vp at the last daye.

55. എന്റെ മാംസം സാക്ഷാല് ഭക്ഷണവും എന്റെ രക്തം സാക്ഷാല് പാനീയവും ആകുന്നു.

55. For my flesh is ye very meate, and my bloude is ye very drynke.

56. എന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നുകയും എന്റെ രക്തം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന് എന്നിലും ഞാന് അവനിലും വസിക്കുന്നു.

56. Who so eateth my flesh, and drynketh my bloude, abydeth in me, and I in him.

57. ജീവനുള്ള പിതാവു എന്നെ അയച്ചിട്ടു ഞാന് പിതാവിന് മൂലം ജീവിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ എന്നെ തിന്നുന്നവന് എന് മൂലം ജീവിക്കും.

57. As the lyuynge father hath sent me, and I lyue for the fathers sake: Euen so he that eateth me, shall lyue for my sake.

58. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന അപ്പം ഇതു ആകുന്നു; പിതാക്കന്മാര് തിന്നുകയും മരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അല്ല; ഈ അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നവന് എന്നേക്കും ജീവിക്കും.

58. This is ye bred which is come fro heauen: Not as youre fathers ate Manna, and are deed. He that eateth of this bred, shal lyue for euer.

59. അവന് കഫര്ന്നഹൂമില് ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോള് പള്ളിയില്വെച്ചു ഇതു പറഞ്ഞു.

59. These thinges sayde he in the synagoge, wha he taught at Capernaum.

60. അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര് പലരും അതു കേട്ടിട്ടുഇതു കഠിനവാക്കു, ഇതു ആര്ക്കും കേള്പ്പാന് കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

60. Many now of his disciples that herde this, sayde: This is an harde sayenge, who maye abyde the hearynge of it?

61. ശിഷ്യന്മാര് അതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി പിറുപിറുക്കുന്നതു യേശു തന്നില്തന്നേ അറിഞ്ഞു അവരോടുഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇടര്ച്ച ആകുന്നുവോ?

61. But whan Iesus perceaued in hi self, that his discipes murmured ther at he sayde vnto them: Doth this offende you?

62. മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന് മുമ്പെ ഇരുന്നേടത്തേക്കു കയറിപ്പോകുന്നതു നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടാലോ?

62. What and yf ye shal se the sonne of man ascende vp thither, where he was afore?

63. ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു ആത്മാവു ആകുന്നു; മാംസം ഒന്നിന്നും ഉപകരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ച വചനങ്ങള് ആത്മാവും ജീവനും ആകുന്നു.

63. It is ye sprete that quyckeneth, ye flesh profiteth nothinge. The wordes that I speake, are sprete, and are life.

64. എങ്കിലും വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു — വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവര് ഇന്നവര് എന്നും തന്നെ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നവന് ഇന്നവന് എന്നും യേശു ആദിമുതല് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു —

64. But there are some amoge you, that beleue not. For Iesus knewe well from the begynnynge, which they were that beleued not, and who shulde betraye him.

65. ഇതു ഹേതുവായിട്ടത്രേ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടുപിതാവു കൃപ നല്കീട്ടല്ലാതെ ആര്ക്കും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവാന് കഴികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്നും അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

65. And he sayde: Therfore haue I sayde vnto you: No man can come vnto me, excepte it be geuen him of my father.

66. അന്നുമുതല് അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് പലരും പിന് വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി, പിന്നെ അവനോടു കൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചില്ല.

66. From that tyme forth, many of his disciples wente backe, and walked nomore with him.

67. ആകയാല് യേശു പന്തിരുവരോടുനിങ്ങള്ക്കും പൊയ്ക്കൊള്വാന് മനസ്സുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

67. Then sayde Iesus vnto the twolue: Wyll ye also go awaye?

68. ശിമോന് പത്രൊസ് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങള് ആരുടെ അടുക്കല് പോകും? നിത്യജീവന്റെ വചനങ്ങള് നിന്റെ പക്കല് ഉണ്ടു.

68. Then answered Simon Peter: LORDE, Whither shal we go? Thou hast the wordes of euerlastinge life:

69. നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന് എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചും അറിഞ്ഞും ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

69. and we haue beleued & knowne, that thou art Christ the sonne of the lyuynge God.

70. യേശു അവരോടുനിങ്ങളെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പേരെ ഞാന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തില്ലയോ? എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളില് ഒരുത്തന് ഒരു പിശാചു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതു അവന് ശിമോന് ഈസ്കര്യയ്യോര്ത്താവിന്റെ മകനായ യൂദയെക്കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

70. Iesus answered them. Haue I not chosen you twolue, and one of you is a deuell?

71. ഇവന് പന്തിരുവരില് ഒരുത്തന് എങ്കിലും അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാനുള്ളവന് ആയിരുന്നു.

71. But he spake of Iudas Symon Iscarioth: the same betrayed him afterwarde, and was one of the twolue.
