1. അങ്ങനെ മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ എല്യാശീബും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും എഴുന്നേറ്റു ആട്ടിന് വാതില് പണിതുഅവര് അതു പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു അതിന്റെ കതകുകളും വെച്ചു; ഹമ്മേയാഗോപുരംവരെയും ഹനനയേല്ഗോപുരംവരെയും അവര് അതു പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.

1. Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.

2. അവര് പണിതതിന്നപ്പുറം യെരീഹോക്കാര് പണിതു; അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം ഇമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ സക്കൂര് പണിതു.

2. And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.

3. മീന് വാതില് ഹസ്സെനായക്കാര് പണിതു; അവര് അതിന്റെ പടികള് വെച്ചു കതകും ഔടാമ്പലും അന്താഴവും ഇണക്കി.

3. But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

4. അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം ഹക്കോസിന്റെ മകനായ ഊരീയാവിന്റെ മകന് മെരേമോത്ത് അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു. അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം മെശേസ്സബെയേലിന്റെ മകനായ ബേരെഖ്യാവിന്റെ മകന് മെശുല്ലാം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു. അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം ബാനയുടെ മകന് സാദോക്ക് അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

4. And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.

5. അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം തെക്കോവ്യര് അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു; എന്നാല് അവരുടെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാര് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ വേലെക്കു ചുമല് കൊടുത്തില്ല.

5. And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their master.

6. പഴയവാതില് പാസേഹയുടെ മകനായ യോയാദയും ബെസോദ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമും അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു; അവര് അതിന്റെ പടികള് വെച്ചു കതകും ഔടാമ്പലും അന്താഴവും ഇണക്കി.

6. Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

7. അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം ഗിബെയോന്യനായ മെലത്യാവും മെരോനോഥ്യനായ യാദോനും ഗിബെയോന്യരും മിസ്പായരും നദിക്കു ഇക്കരെയുള്ള ദേശാധിപതിയുടെ ന്യായാസനസ്ഥലംവരെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

7. And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.

8. അതിന്നപ്പുറം തട്ടാന്മാരില് ഹര്ഹയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഉസ്സീയേല് അറ്റംകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു. അവന്റെ അപ്പുറം തൈലക്കാരില് ഒരുവനായ ഹനന്യാവു അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു വീതിയുള്ള മതില്വരെ യെരൂശലേമിനെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു.

8. Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.

9. അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം യെരൂശലേം ദേശത്തിന്റെ പാതിക്കു പ്രഭുവായ ഹൂരിന്റെ മകന് രെഫായാവു അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

9. And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.

10. അവരുടെ അപ്പുറം ഹരൂമഫിന്റെ മകന് യെദായാവു തന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നു നേരെയുള്ള ഭാഗം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു; അവന്റെ അപ്പുറം ഹശബ്നെയാവിന്റെ മകന് ഹത്തൂശ് അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

10. And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.

11. മറ്റൊരു ഭാഗവും ചൂളകളുടെ ഗോപുരവും ഹാരീമിന്റെ മകന് മല്ക്കീയാവും പഹത്ത്-മോവാബിന്റെ മകന് ഹശ്ശൂബും അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

11. Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahath-moab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.

12. അവന്റെ അപ്പുറം യെരൂശലേംദേശത്തിന്റെ മറ്റെ പാതിക്കു പ്രഭുവായ ഹല്ലോഹേശിന്റെ മകന് ശല്ലൂമും അവന്റെ പുത്രിമാരും അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

12. And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

13. താഴ്വരവാതില് ഹനൂനും സാനോഹ് നിവാസികളും അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തുഅവര് അതു പണിതു അതിന്റെ കതകും ഔടാമ്പലും അന്താഴവും ഇണക്കി കുപ്പ വാതില്വരെ മതില് ആയിരം മുഴം കേടുപോക്കി.

13. The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.

14. കുപ്പവാതില് ബേത്ത്-ഹഖേരെംദേശത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുവായ രേഖാബിന്റെ മകന് മല്ക്കീയാവു അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു; അവന് അതു പണിതു അതിന്റെ കതകും ഔടാമ്പലും അന്താഴവും ഇണക്കി.

14. But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Beth-haccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.

15. ഉറവുവാതില് മിസ്പാദേശത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുവായ കൊല്-ഹോസെയുടെ മകനായ ശല്ലൂന് അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു; അവന് അതു പണിതു മേച്ചല് കഴിച്ചു കതകും ഔടാമ്പലും അന്താഴവും ഇണക്കി രാജോദ്യാനത്തിന്റെ നീര്പ്പാത്തിക്കരികെയുള്ള കുളത്തിന്റെ മതിലും ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തില് നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുന്ന കല്പടിവരെ തീര്ത്തു.

15. But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Col-hozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the kings garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.

16. അവന്റെ അപ്പുറം ബേത്ത് സൂര്ദേശത്തിന്റെ പാതിക്കു പ്രഭുവായ അസ്ബൂക്കിന്റെ മകന് നെഹെമ്യാവു ദാവീദിന്റെ കല്ലറകളുടെ നേരെയുള്ള സ്ഥലംവരെയും വെട്ടിക്കുഴിച്ച കുളംവരെയും വീരന്മാരുടെ ആഗാരംവരെയും അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

16. After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.

17. അതിന്നപ്പുറം ലേവ്യരില് ബാനിയുടെ മകന് രെഹൂം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു. അവന്റെ അപ്പുറം കെയീലാദേശത്തിന്റെ പാതിക്കു പ്രഭുവായ ഹശബ്യാവു തന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ പേര്ക്കും അറ്റകുറ്റം തിര്ത്തു.

17. After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.

18. അതിന്റെശേഷം അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരില് കെയീലാദേശത്തിന്റെ മറ്റെ പാതിക്കു പ്രഭുവായ ഹേനാദാദിന്റെ മകന് ബവ്വായി അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

18. After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.

19. അവന്റെ അപ്പുറം മിസ്പാപ്രഭുവായ യേശുവയുടെ മകന് ഏസെര് കോണിങ്കലെ ആയുധശാലെക്കുള്ള കയറ്റത്തിന്നു നേരെ മറ്റൊരു ഭാഗം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

19. And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.

20. അതിന്റെശേഷം സബ്ബായിയുടെ മകന് ബാരൂക് ആ കോണുതുടങ്ങി മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ എല്യാശീബിന്റെ വീട്ടുവാതില്വരെ മറ്റൊരു ഭാഗം ജാഗ്രതയോടെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

20. After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

21. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ഹക്കോസിന്റെ മകനായ ഊരീയാവിന്റെ മകന് മെരേമോത്ത് എല്യാശീബിന്റെ വീട്ടുവാതില് തുടങ്ങി എല്യാശീബിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്റെ അറ്റംവരെ മറ്റൊരു ഭാഗം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

21. After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

22. അതിന്റെശേഷം നാട്ടുപുറക്കാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

22. And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.

23. അതിന്റെശേഷം ബെന്യാമീനും ഹശ്ശൂബും തങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടിന്നു നേരെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അനന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ മയസേയാവിന്റെ മകന് അസര്യ്യാവു തന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നരികെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

23. After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.

24. അതിന്റെശേഷം ഹേനാദാദിന്റെ മകന് ബിന്നൂവി അസര്യ്യാവിന്റെ വീടുമുതല് കോണിന്റെ തിരിവുവരെ മറ്റൊരുഭാഗം അറ്റകുറ്റംതീര്ത്തു.

24. After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.

25. ഊസായിയുടെ മകന് പാലാല് കോണിന്നും കാരാഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ മുറ്റത്തോടു ചേര്ന്നതായി രാജധാനി കവിഞ്ഞു മുമ്പോട്ടു നിലക്കുന്ന ഉന്നതഗോപുരത്തിന്നും നേരെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു; അതിന്റെശേഷം പരോശിന്റെ മകന് പെദായാവു അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

25. Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the kings high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.

26. ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാര് ഔഫേലില് കിഴക്കു നീര്വ്വാതിലിന്നെതിരെയുള്ള സ്ഥലംമുതല് കവിഞ്ഞുനിലക്കുന്ന ഗോപുരംവരെ പാര്ത്തുവന്നു.

26. Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.

27. അതിന്റെശേഷം തെക്കോവ്യര് കവിഞ്ഞുനിലക്കുന്ന വലിയ ഗോപുരത്തിന്നു നേരെ ഔഫേലിന്റെ മതില് വരെ മറ്റൊരു ഭാഗം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

27. After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.

28. കുതിരവാതില്മുതല് പുരോഹിതന്മാര് ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നു നേരെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

28. From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.

29. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ഇമ്മേരിന്റെ മകന് സാദോക് തന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നു നേരെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു. അതിന്റെശേഷം കിഴക്കെ വാതില്കാവല്ക്കാരനായ ശെഖന്യാവിന്റെ മകന് ശെമയ്യാവു അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

29. After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.

30. അതിന്റെശേഷം ശേലെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകന് ഹനന്യാവും സാലാഫിന്റെ ആറാമത്തെ മകന് ഹാനൂനും മറ്റൊരു ഭാഗം അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു. അതിന്റെശേഷം ബേരെഖ്യാവിന്റെ മകന് മെശുല്ലാം തന്റെ അറയുടെ നേരെ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീര്ത്തു.

30. After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.

32. കോണിങ്കലെ മാളികമുറിക്കും ആട്ടുവാതിലിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ തട്ടാന്മാരും കച്ചവടക്കാരും അറ്റകുറ്റം തിര്ത്തു.

32. And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
