1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

1. By David. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And all my inward parts -- His Holy Name.

2. എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; എന്റെ സര്വ്വാന്തരംഗവുമേ, അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

2. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And forget not all His benefits,

3. എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; അവന്റെ ഉപകാരങ്ങള് ഒന്നും മറക്കരുതു.

3. Who is forgiving all thine iniquities, Who is healing all thy diseases,

4. അവന് നിന്റെ അകൃത്യം ഒക്കെയും മോചിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സകലരോഗങ്ങളെയും സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്നു;

4. Who is redeeming from destruction thy life, Who is crowning thee -- kindness and mercies,

5. അവന് നിന്റെ ജീവനെ നാശത്തില്നിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുക്കുന്നു; അവന് ദയയും കരുണയും നിന്നെ അണിയിക്കുന്നു.

5. Who is satisfying with good thy desire, Renew itself as an eagle doth thy youth.

6. നിന്റെ യൌവനം കഴുകനെപ്പോലെ പുതുകിവരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് നിന്റെ വായക്കു നന്മകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുന്നു.

6. Jehovah is doing righteousness and judgments For all the oppressed.

7. യഹോവ സകലപീഡിതന്മാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തുന്നു.

7. He maketh known His ways to Moses, To the sons of Israel His acts.

8. അവന് തന്റെ വഴികളെ മോശെയെയും തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെയും അറിയിച്ചു.
യാക്കോബ് 5:11

8. Merciful and gracious [is] Jehovah, Slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.

9. യഹോവ കരുണയും കൃപയും നിറഞ്ഞവന് ആകുന്നു; ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയും മഹാദയയും ഉള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

9. Not for ever doth He strive, Nor to the age doth He watch.

10. അവന് എല്ലായ്പോഴും ഭര്ത്സിക്കയില്ല; എന്നേക്കും കോപം സംഗ്രഹിക്കയുമില്ല.

10. Not according to our sins hath He done to us, Nor according to our iniquities Hath He conferred benefits upon us.

11. അവന് നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നമ്മോടു ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല; നമ്മുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം നമ്മോടു പകരം ചെയ്യുന്നതുമില്ല.

11. For, as the height of the heavens [is] above the earth, His kindness hath been mighty over those fearing Him.

12. ആകാശം ഭൂമിക്കുമീതെ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന്റെ ദയ അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു വലുതായിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. As the distance of east from west He hath put far from us our transgressions.

13. ഉദയം അസ്തമയത്തോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവന് നമ്മുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെ നമ്മോടു അകറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. As a father hath mercy on sons, Jehovah hath mercy on those fearing Him.

14. അപ്പന്നു മക്കളോടു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ യഹോവേക്കു തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു കരുണ തോന്നുന്നു.

14. For He hath known our frame, Remembering that we [are] dust.

15. അവന് നമ്മുടെ പ്രകൃതി അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; നാം പൊടി എന്നു അവന് ഔര്ക്കുംന്നു.

15. Mortal man! as grass [are] his days, As a flower of the field so he flourisheth;

16. മനുഷ്യന്റെ ആയുസ്സു പുല്ലുപോലെയാകുന്നു; വയലിലെ പൂപോലെ അവന് പൂക്കുന്നു.

16. For a wind hath passed over it, and it is not, And its place doth not discern it any more.

17. കാറ്റു അതിന്മേല് അടിക്കുമ്പോള് അതു ഇല്ലാതെപോകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലം പിന്നെ അതിനെ അറികയുമില്ല.

17. And the kindness of Jehovah [Is] from age even unto age on those fearing Him, And His righteousness to sons' sons,

18. യഹോവയുടെ ദയയോ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും അവന്റെ നീതി മക്കളുടെ മക്കള്ക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും.

18. To those keeping His covenant, And to those remembering His precepts to do them.

19. അവന്റെ നിയമത്തെ പ്രാണിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ ഔര്ത്തു ആചരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും തന്നേ.

19. Jehovah in the heavens Hath established His throne, And His kingdom over all hath ruled.

20. യഹോവ തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ രാജത്വം സകലത്തെയും ഭരിക്കുന്നു.

20. Bless Jehovah, ye His messengers, Mighty in power -- doing His word, To hearken to the voice of His Word.

21. അവന്റെ വചനത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു അവന്റെ ആജ്ഞ അനുസരിക്കുന്ന വീരന്മാരായി അവന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന് .

21. Bless Jehovah, all ye His hosts, His ministers -- doing His pleasure.

22. അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരായി അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യങ്ങളുമായുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന് ;

22. Bless Jehovah, all ye His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah!
