1. ആരോഹണ ഗീതം

1. A song of degrees. Out of the deepe places haue I called vnto thee, O Lord.

2. യഹോവേ, ആഴത്തില്നിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;

2. Lord, heare my voyce: let thine eares attend to the voyce of my prayers.

3. കര്ത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകള്ക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ.

3. If thou, O Lord, straightly markest iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4. യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മവെച്ചാല് കര്ത്താവേ, ആര് നിലനിലക്കും?

4. But mercie is with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5. എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കല് വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു.

5. I haue waited on the Lord: my soule hath waited, and I haue trusted in his worde.

6. ഞാന് യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തില് ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. My soule waiteth on the Lord more then the morning watch watcheth for the morning.

7. ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള്, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. Let Israel waite on the Lord: for with the Lord is mercie, and with him is great redemption.

8. യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയില് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചുകൊള്ക; യഹോവേക്കു കൃപയും അവന്റെപക്കല് ധാരാളം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടു.

8. And he shall redeeme Israel from all his iniquities.
