1. A song of ascents. By David: ADONAI, I call to you from the depths;

2. യഹോവേ, ആഴത്തില്നിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;

2. hear my cry, [Adonai]! Let your ears pay attention to the sound of my pleading.

3. കര്ത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകള്ക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ.

3. [Yah], if you kept a record of sins, who, [Adonai], could stand?

4. യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മവെച്ചാല് കര്ത്താവേ, ആര് നിലനിലക്കും?

4. But with you there is forgiveness, so that you will be feared.

5. എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കല് വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു.

5. I wait longingly for ADONAI; I put my hope in his word.

6. ഞാന് യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തില് ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Everything in me waits for [Adonai] more than guards on watch wait for morning, more than guards on watch wait for morning.

7. ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള്, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. Isra'el, put your hope in ADONAI! For grace is found with ADONAI, and with him is unlimited redemption.
