1. ആരോഹണ ഗീതം

1. O Lord, I have cried to You out of the deep places.

2. യഹോവേ, ആഴത്തില്നിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;

2. Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears hear the voice of my prayers.

3. കര്ത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകള്ക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ.

3. If you, Lord, should write down our sins, O Lord, who could stand?

4. യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മവെച്ചാല് കര്ത്താവേ, ആര് നിലനിലക്കും?

4. But You are the One Who forgives, so You are honored with fear.

5. എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കല് വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു.

5. I wait for the Lord. My soul waits and I hope in His Word.

6. ഞാന് യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തില് ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. My soul waits for the Lord more than one who watches for the morning; yes, more than one who watches for the morning.

7. ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള്, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. O Israel, hope in the Lord! For there is loving-kindness with the Lord. With Him we are saved for sure.

8. യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയില് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചുകൊള്ക; യഹോവേക്കു കൃപയും അവന്റെപക്കല് ധാരാളം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടു.

8. And He will save Israel from all their sins.
