1. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനം; അവന് ഗുഹയില് ആയിരുന്നപ്പോള് കഴിച്ച പ്രാര്ത്ഥന.

1. I cry out loudly to GOD, loudly I plead with GOD for mercy.

2. ഞാന് യഹോവയോടു ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഉച്ചത്തില് യഹോവയോടു യാചിക്കുന്നു.

2. I spill out all my complaints before him, and spell out my troubles in detail:

3. അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ഞാന് എന്റെ സങ്കടം പകരുന്നു; എന്റെ കഷ്ടത ഞാന് അവനെ ബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

3. As I sink in despair, my spirit ebbing away, you know how I'm feeling, Know the danger I'm in, the traps hidden in my path.

4. എന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോള് നീ എന്റെ പാതയെ അറിയുന്നു. ഞാന് നടക്കുന്ന പാതയില് അവര് എനിക്കു ഒരു കണി ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. Look right, look left-- there's not a soul who cares what happens! I'm up against it, with no exit-- bereft, left alone.

5. വലത്തോട്ടു നോക്കി കാണേണമേ; എന്നെ അറിയുന്നവന് ആരുമില്ലല്ലോ. ശരണം എനിക്കു പോയ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വേണ്ടി ആരും കരുതുന്നില്ല.

5. I cry out, GOD, call out: 'You're my last chance, my only hope for life!'

6. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; നീ എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു എന്റെ ഔഹരിയും ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.

6. Oh listen, please listen; I've never been this low. Rescue me from those who are hunting me down; I'm no match for them.

7. എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കു ചെവി തരേണമേ. ഞാന് ഏറ്റവും എളിമപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവര് എന്നിലും ബലവാന്മാരാകയാല് അവരുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

7. Get me out of this dungeon so I can thank you in public. Your people will form a circle around me and you'll bring me showers of blessing!'
