1. ആ സമയത്തു തന്നേ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ചിലര് പീലാത്തൊസ് ചില ഗലീലക്കാരുടെ ചോര അവരുടെ യാഗങ്ങളോടു കലര്ത്തിയ വര്ത്തമാനം അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

1. There were present at the same seaso, certaine men, that shewed him of ye Galileans, whose blood Pilate hadde myngled with their owne sacrifice.

2. അതിന്നു അവന് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതുആ ഗലീലക്കാര് ഇതു അനുഭവിക്കായാല് എല്ലാ ഗലീലക്കാരിലും പാപികള് ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തോന്നുന്നുവോ? അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാന് നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെതന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

2. And Iesus aunswered, and sayde vnto them: Suppose ye that these Galileans, were greater sinners then all the others Galileans, because they suffred such punishment?

3. അല്ല, ശീലോഹാമിലെ ഗോപുരം വീണു മരിച്ചുപോയ ആ പതിനെട്ടുപേര് യെരൂശലേമില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന സകല മനുഷ്യരിലും കുറ്റക്കാര് ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?

3. I tell you naye: but except ye repent, ye shall all lykewyse peryshe.

4. അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാല് നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

4. Or those eyghteene vpon whiche the towre in Siloe fell, and slewe them, thynke ye that they were sinners aboue all men that dwelt in Hierusalem?

5. അവന് ഈ ഉപമയും പറഞ്ഞുഒരുത്തന്നു തന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തില് നട്ടിരുന്നോരു അത്തിവൃക്ഷം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന് അതില് ഫലം തിരഞ്ഞുവന്നു, കണ്ടില്ലതാനും.

6. He tolde also this similitude. A certaine man had a figge tree planted in his vineyarde, and he came, and sought fruite theron, and founde none.

7. അതിന്നു അവന് കര്ത്താവേ, ഞാന് അതിന്നു ചുറ്റും കിളെച്ചു വളം ഇടുവോളം ഈ ആണ്ടും കൂടെ നില്ക്കട്ടെ.

7. Then sayde he to the dresser of his vineyarde: Beholde, this three yere I haue come & sought fruite in this figge tree, and finde none: cut it downe, why cumbreth it the grounde?

8. മേലാല് കായിച്ചെങ്കിലോ - ഇല്ലെങ്കില് വെട്ടിക്കളയാം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

8. And he aunswered, & sayde vnto him: Lorde, let it alone this yere also, tyll I dygge rounde about it, & dongue it.

9. ഒരു ശബ്ബത്തില് അവന് ഒരു പള്ളിയില് ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു;

9. And yf it beare fruite [thou mayest] let it alone: and yf it beare not then, after that shalt thou cut it downe.

10. അവിടെ പതിനെട്ടു സംവത്സരമായി ഒരു രോഗാത്മാവു ബാധിച്ചിട്ടു ഒട്ടും നിവിരുവാന് കഴിയാതെ കൂനിയായോരു സ്ത്രീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

10. And he taught in one of their synagogues on the Sabboth dayes.

11. യേശു അവളെ കണ്ടു അടുക്കെ വിളിച്ചുസ്ത്രിയേ, നിന്റെ രോഗബന്ധനം അഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവളുടെ മേല് കൈവെച്ചു.

11. And beholde, there was a woman, which had a spirite of infirmitie eyghteene yeres, and was bowed together, and coulde in no wyse lyft vp her head.

12. അവള് ക്ഷണത്തില് നിവിര്ന്നു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

12. When Iesus sawe her, he called her to hym, and sayde vnto her: Woman, thou art loosed from thy disease.

13. യേശു ശബ്ബത്തില് സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയതു കൊണ്ടു പള്ളി പ്രമാണി നീരസപ്പെട്ടു പുരുഷാരത്തോടുവേല ചെയ്വാന് ആറുദിവസമുണ്ടല്ലോ; അതിന്നകം വന്നു സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; ശബ്ബത്തില് അരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

13. And he layde his handes on her, and immediatly, she was made strayght, and glorified God.

14. കര്ത്താവു അവനോടുകപടഭക്തിക്കാരേ, നിങ്ങളില് ഔരോരുത്തന് ശബ്ബത്തില് തന്റെ കാളയെയോ കഴുതയെയോ തൊട്ടിയില് നിന്നു അഴിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? എന്നാല് സാത്താന് പതിനെട്ടു സംവത്സരമായി ബന്ധിച്ചിരുന്ന അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ മകളായ ഇവളെ ശബ്ബത്തുനാളില് ഈ ബന്ധനം അഴിച്ചു വിടേണ്ടതല്ലയോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

14. And the ruler of the synagogue aunswered with indignation, because that Iesus had healed on the Sabboth day, & sayde vnto the people: There are sixe dayes, in which men ought to worke, in them therfore come, that ye may be healed, and not on the Sabboth day.

15. അവന് ഇതു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവന്റെ വിരോധികള് എല്ലാവരും നാണിച്ചു; അവനാല് നടക്കുന്ന സകല മഹിമകളാലും പുരുഷാരം ഒക്കെയും സന്തോഷിച്ചു.

15. But the Lorde aunswered hym, and sayde: Thou hypocrite, doth not eche one of you on the Sabboth day, loose his oxe or his asse from the staule, and leade hym to the water?

16. പിന്നെ അവന് പറഞ്ഞതുദൈവരാജ്യം ഏതിനോടു സദൃശം? ഏതിനോടു അതിനെ ഉപമിക്കേണ്ടു?

16. And ought not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bounde, lo eyghteene yeres, be loosed from this bonde on the Sabboth day?

17. ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് എടുത്തു തന്റെ തോട്ടത്തില് ഇട്ട കടുകുമണിയോടു അതു സദൃശം; അതു വളര്ന്നു വൃക്ഷമായി, ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളും വന്നു അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളില് വസിച്ചു.

17. And when he sayde these thynges, all his aduersaries were ashamed, and all the people reioyced on all the excellent deedes that were done by hym.

18. പിന്നെയും അവന് ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ ഏതിനോടു ഉപമിക്കേണ്ടു? അതു പുളിച്ചമാവിനോടു തുല്ല്യം;

18. Then sayde he: What is the kyngdome of God lyke? or whereto shall I compare it?

19. അതു ഒരു സ്ത്രീ എടുത്തു മൂന്നുപറ മാവില് ചേര്ത്തു എല്ലാം പുളിച്ചുവരുവോളം അടക്കിവെച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

19. It is like a grayne of mustarde seede, whiche a man toke & sowed in his garden: and it grewe, and waxed a great tree, and the foules of the ayre made nestes in the braunches of it.

20. അവന് പട്ടണംതോറും ഗ്രാമംതോറും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്ര ചെയ്തു.

20. And agayne he sayde: Whervnto shall I lyken the kyngdome of God?

21. അപ്പോള് ഒരുത്തന് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവര് ചുരുക്കമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു

21. It is lyke leuen, which a woman toke, and hyd in three peckes of meale, tyll all was leuened.

22. ഇടുക്കുവാതിലൂടെ കടപ്പാന് പോരാടുവിന് . പലരും കടപ്പാന് നോക്കും കഴികയില്ലതാനും എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

22. And he went through all cities and townes, teachyng, and iourneying towardes Hierusalem.

23. വീട്ടുടയവന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു കതകു അടെച്ചശേഷം നിങ്ങള് പുറത്തുനിന്നുകര്ത്താവേ, തുറന്നു തരേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു കതകിന്നു മുട്ടിത്തുടങ്ങുമ്പോള്നിങ്ങള് എവിടെ നിന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നില്ല, എന്നു അവന് ഉത്തരം പറയും.

23. Then sayde one vnto hym: Lorde, are there fewe that be saued? And he sayde vnto them:

24. അന്നേരം നിങ്ങള്നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഞങ്ങള് തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ തെരുക്കളില് നീ പഠിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലൊ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങും.

24. Stryue to enter in at the strayte gate: for many I say vnto you, wyll seke to enter in, and shall not be able.

25. അവനോനിങ്ങള് എവിടെ നിന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു; അനീതി പ്രവൃത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരുമായുള്ളോരേ, എന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുവിന് എന്നു പറയും.

25. When the good man of the house is risen vp, and hath shut to the doore, and ye begyn to stande without, & to knocke at the doore, saying, Lorde, Lorde, open vnto vs: and he shall aunswere, and say vnto you, I knowe you not whence ye are.

26. അവിടെ അബ്രാഹാമും യിസ്ഹാക്കും യാക്കോബും സകല പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ദൈവ രാജ്യത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നതും നിങ്ങളെ പുറത്തു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞതും നിങ്ങള് കാണുമ്പോള് കരച്ചലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും.

26. Then shall ye begyn to say: We haue eaten and dronken in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streates.

27. കിഴക്കുനിന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്നും തെക്കുനിന്നും വടക്കുനിന്നും അനേകര് വന്നു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തില് പന്തിയിലിരിക്കും.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 6:8

27. And he shall say, I tell you, I knowe you not, whence ye are: depart from me all ye that worke iniquitie.

28. മുമ്പന്മാരായ്തീരുന്ന പിമ്പന്മാരുണ്ടു, പിമ്പന്മാരായ്തീരുന്ന മുമ്പന്മാരും ഉണ്ടു.

28. There shalbe weepyng & gnasshyng of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Iacob, and all the prophetes, in the kyngdome of God, and ye your selues thrust out.

29. ആ നാഴികയില് തന്നേ ചില പരീശന്മാര് അടുത്തുവന്നുഇവിടം വിട്ടു പൊയ്ക്കാള്ക ഹെരോദാവു നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുവാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

29. And they shall come from the east and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall syt downe in the kyngdome of God.

30. അവന് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് പോയി ആ കുറുക്കനോടുഞാന് ഇന്നും നാളെയും ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുകയും രോഗശാന്തി വരുത്തുകയും മൂന്നാം നാളില് സമാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

30. And beholde, there are last, which shalbe first: And there are first, which shalbe last.

31. എങ്കിലും ഇന്നും നാളെയും മറ്റെന്നാളും ഞാന് സഞ്ചരിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചു ഒരു പ്രവാചകന് നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നതു അസംഭവ്യമല്ലോ എന്നു പറവിന് .

31. The same day, came there certaine of the pharisees, and sayde vnto hym: Get thee out, and depart hence, for Herode wyll kyll thee.

32. യെരൂശലേമേ, യെരൂശലേമേ, പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ കൊല്ലുകയും നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരെ കല്ലെറികയും ചെയ്യുന്നവളേ, കോഴി തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ ചിറകിന് കീഴില് ചേര്ക്കുംപോലെ നിന്റെ മക്കളെ എത്രവട്ടം ചേര്ത്തുകൊള്വാന് എനിക്കു മനസ്സായിരുന്നു; നിങ്ങള്ക്കോ മനസ്സായില്ല.

32. And he sayde vnto them: Go ye, and tell that foxe, beholde, I cast out deuyls, & heale the people to day & to morowe, and the thirde day I shalbe perfected.

33. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭവനം ശൂന്യമായ്ത്തീരും; കര്ത്താവിന്റെ നാമത്തില് വരുന്നവന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയുവോളം നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ കാണുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

33. Neuerthelesse, I must walke to day and to morowe, and the day folowyng: For it can not be, that a prophete perishe any other where, saue at Hierusalem.
