1. അതുകൊണ്ടു വിധിക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യനുമായുള്ളോവേ, നിനക്കു പ്രതിവാദം പറവാന് ഇല്ല; അന്യനെ വിധിക്കുന്നതില് നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നെ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കുന്നു; വിധിക്കുന്ന നീ അതു തന്നേ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

1. కాబట్టి తీర్పు తీర్చు మనుష్యుడా, నీ వెవడవైనను సరే నిరుత్తరుడవై యున్నావు. దేనివిషయములో ఎదుటి వానికి తీర్పు తీర్చుచున్నావో దాని విషయములో నీవే నేరస్థుడవని తీర్పు తీర్చుకొనుచున్నావు; ఏలయనగా తీర్పు తీర్చు నీవును అట్టి కార్యములనే చేయుచున్నావు కావా?

2. എന്നാല് ആവക പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നേരെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിധി സത്യാനുസരണയായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു.

2. అట్టి కార్యములు చేయువారిమీద దేవుని తీర్పు సత్యమును అనుసరించినదే అని యెరుగుదుము.

3. ആവക പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരെ വിധിക്കയും അതു തന്നേ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യ, നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിധിയില്നിന്നു തെറ്റി ഒഴിയും എന്നു നിനെക്കുന്നുവോ?

3. అట్టి కార్యములు చేయువారికి తీర్పు తీర్చుచు వాటినే చేయుచున్న మనుష్యుడా, నీవు దేవుని తీర్పు తప్పించు కొందువని అనుకొందువా?

4. അല്ല, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയ നിന്നെ മാനസാന്തരത്തിലേക്കു നടത്തുന്നു എന്നു അറിയാതെ നീ അവന്റെ ദയ, ക്ഷമ, ദീര്ഘക്ഷാന്തി എന്നിവയുടെ ഐശ്വര്യം നിരസിക്കുന്നുവോ?

4. లేదా, దేవుని అనుగ్రహము మారు మనస్సు పొందుటకు నిన్ను ప్రేరేపించుచున్నదని యెరుగక, ఆయన అనుగ్రహైశ్వర్యమును సహనమును దీర్ఘశాంతమును తృణీకరించుదువా?

5. എന്നാല് നിന്റെ കാഠിന്യത്താലും അനുതാപമില്ലാത്ത ഹൃദയത്താലും നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള വിധി വെളിപ്പെടുന്ന കോപദിവസത്തേക്കു നിനക്കു തന്നേ കോപം ചരതിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു.

5. నీ కాఠిన్యమును, మార్పు పొందని నీ హృదయమును అనుసరించి, ఉగ్రత దినమందు, అనగా దేవుని న్యాయమైన తీర్పు బయలు పరచబడు దినమందు నీకు నీవే ఉగ్రతను సమకూర్చు కొనుచున్నావు.

6. അവന് ഔരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്ക പകരം ചെയ്യും.

6. ఆయన ప్రతివానికి వాని వాని క్రియల చొప్పున ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చును.

7. നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു വേണ്ടുന്ന സ്ഥിരത പൂണ്ടു തേജസ്സും മാനവും അക്ഷയതയും അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും

7. సత్‌ క్రియను ఓపికగా చేయుచు, మహిమను ఘనతను అక్షయతను వెదకువారికి నిత్యజీవము నిచ్చును.

8. നിത്യജീവനും, ശാഠ്യം പൂണ്ടു സത്യം അനുസരിക്കാതെ അനീതി അനുസരിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും കോപവും ക്രോധവും കൊടുക്കും.

8. అయితే భేదములు పుట్టించి, సత్యమునకు లోబడక దుర్నీతికి లోబడువారి మీదికి దేవుని ఉగ్రతయు రౌద్రమును వచ్చును.

9. തിന്മ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യാത്മാവിന്നും കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും ആദ്യം യെഹൂദന്നും പിന്നെ യവനന്നും വരും.

9. దుష్క్యార్యము చేయు ప్రతి మనుష్యుని ఆత్మకు, మొదట యూదునికి గ్రీసుదేశస్థునికికూడ, శ్రమయు వేదనయు కలుగును.

10. നന്മ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നു മഹത്വവും മാനവും സമാധാനവും ആദ്യം യെഹൂദന്നും പിന്നെ യവനന്നും ലഭിക്കും.

10. సత్‌ క్రియ చేయు ప్రతివానికి, మొదట యూదునికి గ్రీసుదేశస్థునికికూడ, మహిమయు ఘనతయు సమాధానమును కలుగును.

11. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കല് മുഖപക്ഷം ഇല്ലല്ലോ.

11. దేవునికి పక్షపాతములేదు. ధర్మశాస్త్రము లేక పాపము చేసినవారందరు ధర్మశాస్త్రము లేకయే నశించెదరు;

12. ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഇല്ലാതെ പാപം ചെയ്തവര് ഒക്കെയും ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൂടാതെ നശിച്ചുപോകും; ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു പാപം ചെയ്തവര് ഒക്കെയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് വിധിക്കപ്പെടും.

12. ధర్మశాస్త్రము కలిగినవారై పాపము చేసినవారందరు ధర్మశాస్త్రానుసారముగా తీర్పు నొందుదురు.

13. ന്യായപ്രമാണം കേള്ക്കുന്നവരല്ല ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് നീതിമാന്മാര്; ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആചരിക്കുന്നവരത്രേ നീതികരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതു.

13. ధర్మశాస్త్రము వినువారు దేవుని దృష్టికి నీతిమంతులు కారుగాని ధర్మశాస్త్రమును అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించువారే నీతిమంతులుగా ఎంచబడుదురు.

14. ന്യായപ്രമാണമില്ലാത്ത ജാതികള് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലുള്ളതു സ്വഭാവത്താല് ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് ന്യായപ്രമാണമില്ലാത്ത അവര് തങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നേ ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആകുന്നു.

14. ధర్మ శాస్త్రము లేని అన్యజనులు స్వాభావికముగా ధర్మశాస్త్ర సంబంధమైన క్రియలను చేసినయెడల వారు ధర్మశాస్త్రము లేనివారైనను, తమకు తామే ధర్మశాస్త్రమైనట్టున్నారు.

15. അവരുടെ മനസ്സാക്ഷിക്കുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞും അവരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങള് തമ്മില് കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുകയോ പ്രതിവാദിക്കയോ ചെയ്തുംകൊണ്ടു അവര് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതായി കാണിക്കുന്നു;

15. అట్టివారి మనస్సాక్షి కూడ సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుచుండగను, వారి తలంపులు ఒక దానిమీద ఒకటి తప్పు మోపుచు లేక తప్పులేదని చెప్పుచుండగను, ధర్మశాస్త్రసారము తమ హృదయములయందు వ్రాయబడినట్టు చూపుచున్నారు

16. ദൈവം യേശു ക്രിസ്തു മുഖാന്തരം മനുഷ്യരുടെ രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ എന്റെ സുവിശേഷപ്രകാരം ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്ന നാളില് തന്നേ.

16. దేవుడు నా సువార్త ప్రకారము యేసు క్రీస్తుద్వారా మనుష్యుల రహస్యములను విమర్శించు దినమందు ఈలాగు జరుగును.

17. നീയോ യെഹൂദന് എന്നു പേര് കൊണ്ടും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് ആശ്രയിച്ചും

17. నీవు యూదుడవని పేరు పెట్టుకొని ధర్మశాస్త్రమును ఆశ్రయించి దేవునియందు అతిశయించుచున్నావు కావా?

18. ദൈവത്തില് പ്രശംസിച്ചും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് നിന്നു പഠിക്കയാല് അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം അറിഞ്ഞും ഭേദാഭേദങ്ങള് വിവേചിച്ചും

18. ఆయన చిత్తమెరిగి, ధర్మశాస్త్రమందు ఉపదేశము పొందిన వాడవై శ్రేష్ఠమైనవాటిని మెచ్చుకొనుచున్నావు కావా?

19. ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെയും സത്യത്തിന്റെയും സ്വരൂപം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് നിന്നു നിനക്കു ലഭിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു നീ കുരുടര്ക്കും വഴി കാട്ടുന്നവന് ,

19. జ్ఞానసత్యస్వరూపమైన ధర్మశాస్త్రము గలవాడవైయుండి నేను గ్రుడ్డివారికి త్రోవచూపువాడను,

20. ഇരുട്ടിലുള്ളവര്ക്കും വെളിച്ചം, മൂഢരെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് , ശിശുക്കള്ക്കു ഉപദേഷ്ടാവു എന്നു ഉറെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നെങ്കില്-

20. చీకటిలో ఉండువారికి వెలుగును, బుద్ధిహీనులకు శిక్షకుడను, బాలురకు ఉపాధ్యాయుడనై యున్నానని నీయంతట నీవే ధైర్యము వహించుకొనుచున్నావు కావా?

21. ഹേ, അന്യനെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവനേ, നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കാത്തതു എന്തു? മോഷ്ടിക്കരുതു എന്നു പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്ന നീ മോഷ്ടിക്കുന്നുവോ?
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 50:16-21

21. ఎదుటివానికి బోధించు నీవు నీకు నీవే బోధించుకొనవా? దొంగిలవద్దని ప్రకటించు నీవు దొంగిలెదవా?

22. വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറയുന്ന നീ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ? വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വെറുക്കുന്ന നീ ക്ഷേത്രം കവര്ച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ?

22. వ్యభిచరింపవద్దని చెప్పు నీవు వ్యభిచరించెదవా? విగ్రహములను అసహ్యించుకొను నీవు గుళ్లను దోచెదవా?

23. ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തില് പ്രശംസിക്കുന്ന നീ ന്യായപ്രമാണലംഘനത്താല് ദൈവത്തെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നുവോ?

23. ధర్మశాస్త్రమందు అతిశయించు నీవు ధర్మశాస్త్రము మీరుటవలన దేవుని అవమానపరచెదవా?

24. “നിങ്ങള് നിമിത്തം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമം ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ദുഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

24. వ్రాయబడిన ప్రకారము మిమ్మునుబట్టియే గదా దేవుని నామము అన్యజనుల మధ్యను దూషింపబడుచున్నది?

25. നീ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആചരിച്ചാല് പരിച്ഛേദന പ്രയോജനമുള്ളതു സത്യം; ന്യായപ്രമാണലംഘിയായാലോ നിന്റെ പരിച്ഛേദന അഗ്രചര്മ്മമായിത്തീര്ന്നു.
യിരേമ്യാവു 4:4, യിരേമ്യാവു 9:25

25. నీవు ధర్మశాస్త్రమును అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించు వాడవైతివా, సున్నతి ప్రయోజనకరమగును గాని ధర్మ శాస్త్రమును అతిక్రమించువాడవైతివా, నీ సున్నతి సున్నతి కాకపోవును.

26. അഗ്രചര്മ്മി ന്യായ പ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ നിയമങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചാല് അവന്റെ അഗ്രചര്മ്മം പരിച്ഛേദന എന്നു എണ്ണുകയില്ലയോ?

26. కాబట్టి సున్నతి లేనివాడు ధర్మ శాస్త్రపు నీతి విధులను గైకొనిన యెడల అతడు సున్నతి లేనివాడై యుండియు సున్నతిగలవాడుగా ఎంచబడును గదా?

27. സ്വഭാവത്താല് അഗ്രചര്മ്മിയായവന് ന്യായപ്രമാണം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് അക്ഷരവും പരിച്ഛേദനയുമുള്ള ന്യായപ്രമാണലംഘിയായ നിന്നെ അവന് വിധിക്കയില്ലയോ?

27. మరియు స్వభావమునుబట్టి సున్నతి లేనివాడు ధర్మశాస్త్రమును నెరవేర్చినయెడల అక్షరమును సున్నతియు గలవాడవై ధర్మశాస్త్రమును అతిక్రమించు నీకు తీర్పు తీర్చడా?

28. പുറമെ യെഹൂദനായവന് യെഹൂദനല്ല; പുറമെ ജഡത്തിലുള്ളതു പരിച്ഛേദനയുമല്ല;

28. బాహ్యమునకు యూదుడైనవాడు యూదుడు కాడు; శరీరమందు బాహ్యమైన సున్నతి సున్నతికాదు.

29. അകമെ യെഹൂദനായവനത്രേ യെഹൂദന് ; അക്ഷരത്തിലല്ല ആത്മാവിലുള്ള ഹൃദയപരിച്ഛേദനയത്രേ പരിച്ഛേദന; അവന്നു മനുഷ്യരാലല്ല ദൈവത്താല് തന്നേ പുകഴ്ച ലഭിക്കും.

29. అయితే అంతరంగమందు యూదుడైన వాడే యూదుడు. మరియు సున్నతి హృదయ సంబంధమైనదై ఆత్మయందు జరుగునదే గాని అక్షరమువలన కలుగునది కాదు. అట్టివానికి మెప్పు మనుష్యులవలన కలుగదు దేవునివలననే కలుగును.
