2. നിങ്ങള് സകലത്തിലും എന്നെ ഔര്ക്കുംകയും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ഏല്പിച്ച കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്കയാല് നിങ്ങളെ പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നു.
2. మీరు అన్ని విషయములలో నన్ను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుచు, నేను మీకు అప్పగించిన కట్టడలను గైకొనుచున్నారని మిమ్మును మెచ్చుకొనుచున్నాను.
3. എന്നാല് ഏതു പുരുഷന്റെയും തല ക്രിസ്തു, സ്ത്രീയുടെ തല പുരുഷന് , ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ തല ദൈവം എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയേണം എന്നു ഞാന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.ഉല്പത്തി 3:16

4. ఏ పురుషుడు తలమీదముసుకు వేసికొని ప్రార్థన చేయునో లేక ప్రవచించునో, ఆ పురుషుడు తన తలను అవమానపరచును.
5. മൂടുപടമില്ലാതെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കയോ പ്രവചിക്കയോ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഏതു സ്ത്രീയും തന്റെ തലയെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നു; അതു അവള് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിച്ചതുപോലെയല്ലോ.
5. ఏ స్త్రీ తలమీద ముసుకు వేసికొనక ప్రార్థనచేయునో లేక ప్రవచించునో, ఆ స్త్రీ తన తలను అవమానపరచును; ఏలయనగా అది ఆమెకు క్షౌరము చేయబడినట్టుగానే యుండును.
6. സ്ത്രീ മൂടുപടമിടുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് മുടി കത്രിച്ചുകളയട്ടെ. കത്രിക്കുന്നതോ ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നതോ സ്ത്രീക്കു ലജ്ജയെങ്കില് മൂടുപടം ഇട്ടുകൊള്ളട്ടെ.
6. స్త్రీ ముసుకు వేసికొననియెడల ఆమె తల వెండ్రుకలు కత్తిరించుకొనవలెను. కత్తిరించుకొనుటయైనను క్షౌరము చేయించు కొనుటయైనను స్త్రీ కవమానమైతే ఆమె ముసుకు వేసికొనవలెను.
7. പുരുഷന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിമയും തേജസ്സും ആകയാല് മൂടുപടം ഇടേണ്ടതല്ല. സ്ത്രീയോ പുരുഷന്റെ തേജസ്സ് ആകുന്നു.ഉല്പത്തി 1:27, ഉല്പത്തി 5:1, ഉല്പത്തി 9:6
7. పురుషుడైతే దేవుని పోలికయు మహిమయునై యున్నాడు గనుక తలమీద ముసుకు వేసికొనకూడదు గాని స్త్రీ పురుషుని మహిమయై యున్నది.
8. പുരുഷന് സ്ത്രീയില്നിന്നല്ലല്ലോ സ്ത്രീ പുരുഷനില്നിന്നത്രേ ഉണ്ടായതു.ഉല്പത്തി 2:21-23
8. ఏలయనగా స్త్రీ పురుషునినుండి కలిగెనే గాని పురుషుడు స్త్రీనుండి కలుగలేదు.

17. మీకు ఈ యాజ్ఞను ఇచ్చుచు మిమ్మును మెచ్చుకొనను. మీరుకూడి వచ్చుట యెక్కువ కీడుకేగాని యెక్కువమేలుకు కాదు.
18. ഒന്നാമതു നിങ്ങള് സഭകൂടുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഭിന്നത ഉണ്ടെന്നു ഞാന് കേള്ക്കുന്നു; ഏതാനും വിശ്വസിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

20. നിങ്ങള് കൂടിവരുമ്പോള് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അത്താഴമല്ല കഴിക്കുന്നതു.
20. మీరందరు కూడి వచ్చుచుండగా మీరు ప్రభువు రాత్రి భోజనము చేయుట సాధ్యము కాదు.
21. ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കയില് ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ അത്താഴം മുമ്പെ കഴിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ഒരുവന് വിശന്നും മറ്റൊരുവന് ലഹരിപിടിച്ചും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
21. ఏలయనగా మీరు ఆ భోజనము చేయునప్పుడు ఒకనికంటె ఒకడు ముందుగా తనమట్టుకు తాను భోజనము చేయుచున్నాడు; ఇందువలన ఒకడు ఆకలిగొనును మరియొకడు మత్తుడవును.

27. അതുകൊണ്ടു അയോഗ്യമായി അപ്പം തിന്നുകയോ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ പാനപാത്രം കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്യുന്നവന് എല്ലാം കര്ത്താവിന്റെ ശരീരവും രക്തവും സംബന്ധിച്ചു കുറ്റക്കാരന് ആകും.
27. కాబట్టి యెవడు అయోగ్యముగా ప్రభువు యొక్క రొట్టెను తినునో, లేక ఆయన పాత్రలోనిది త్రాగునో, వాడు ప్రభువుయొక్క శరీరమును గూర్చియు రక్తమును గూర్చియు అపరాధియగును.
28. മനുഷ്യന് തന്നെത്താന് ശോധന ചെയ്തിട്ടുവേണം ഈ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും പാനപാത്രത്തില്നിന്നു കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്വാന് .
28. కాబట్టి ప్రతి మనుష్యుడు తన్ను తాను పరీక్షించుకొనవలెను; ఆలాగుచేసి ఆ రొట్టెను తిని, ఆ పాత్రలోనిది త్రాగవలెను.
29. തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന് ശരീരത്തെ വിവേചിക്കാഞ്ഞാല് തനിക്കു ശിക്ഷാവിധി തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
29. ప్రభువు శరీరమని వివేచింపక తిని త్రాగువాడు తనకు శిక్షావిధి కలుగుటకే తిని త్రాగుచున్నాడు.
30. ഇതുഹേതുവായി നിങ്ങളില് പലരും ബലഹീനരും രോഗികളും ആകുന്നു; അനേകരും നിദ്രകൊള്ളുന്നു.
30. ఇందువలననే మీలో అనేకులు బలహీనులును రోగులునై యున్నారు; చాలమంది నిద్రించుచున్నారు.
31. നാം നമ്മെത്തന്നേ വിധിച്ചാല് വിധിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല.
31. అయితే మనలను మనమే విమర్శించుకొనినయెడల తీర్పు పొందకపోదుము.
32. വിധിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എങ്കിലോ നാം ലോകത്തോടുകൂടെ ശിക്ഷാവിധിയില് അകപ്പെടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കര്ത്താവു നമ്മെ ബാലശിക്ഷ കഴിക്കയാകുന്നു.
32. మనము తీర్పు పొందినయెడల లోకముతోపాటు మనకు శిక్షావిధి కలుగకుండునట్లు ప్రభువుచేత శిక్షింపబడుచున్నాము.
33. ആകയാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് ഭക്ഷണം കഴിപ്പാന് കൂടുമ്പോള് അന്യോന്യം കാത്തിരിപ്പിന് .
33. కాబట్టి నా సహోదరులారా, భోజనము చేయుటకు మీరు కూడి వచ్చునప్పుడు ఒకనికొరకు ఒకడు కనిపెట్టుకొని యుండుడి.
34. വല്ലവന്നും വിശക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നിങ്ങള് ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടുന്നതു ന്യായവിധിക്കു ഹേതുവാകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് വീട്ടില്വെച്ചു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കട്ടെ. ശേഷം കാര്യ്യങ്ങളെ ഞാന് വന്നിട്ടു ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തും.
34. మీరు కూడి వచ్చుట శిక్షావిధికి కారణము కాకుండునట్లు, ఎవడైనను ఆకలిగొనినయెడల తన యింటనే భోజనము చేయవలెను. నేను వచ్చినప్పుడు మిగిలిన సంగతులను క్రమపరతును.
