1. പതിന്നാലു ആണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞാന് ബര്ന്നബാസുമായി തീതൊസിനെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി.

1. Then through fourteen years, I again went up to Jerusalem with Barnabas, also taking Titus with me.

2. ഞാന് ഒരു വെളിപ്പാടു അനുസരിച്ചത്രേ പോയതു; ഞാന് ഔടുന്നതോ ഔടിയതോ വെറുതേ എന്നു വരാതിരിപ്പാന് ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്ന സുവിശേഷം അവരോടു, വിശേഷാല് പ്രമാണികളോടു വിവരിച്ചു.

2. And I went up according to revelation. And I put before them the gospel which I proclaim in the nations, but privately to the ones seeming to be pillars, lest I run, or I ran, into vanity.

3. എന്റെ കൂടെയുള്ള തീതൊസ് യവനന് എങ്കിലും പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്പാന് അവനെ ആരും നിര്ബ്ബന്ധിച്ചില്ല.

3. But not even Titus, the one with me, a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

4. അതോ, നുഴഞ്ഞുവന്ന കള്ളസ്സഹോദരന്മാര് നിമിത്തമായിരുന്നു; അവര് നമ്മെ അടിമപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് നമുക്കുള്ള സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഒറ്റുനോക്കുവാന് നുഴഞ്ഞുവന്നിരുന്നു.

4. But it was because of those false brothers stealing in, who stole in to spy on our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, they desiring to enslave us,

5. സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ സത്യം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നിലനില്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് അവര്ക്കും ഒരു നാഴികപോലും വഴങ്ങിക്കൊടുത്തില്ല.

5. to whom not even for an hour did we yield in subjection, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

6. പ്രമാണികളായവരോ അവര് പണ്ടു എങ്ങനെയുള്ളവര് ആയിരുന്നാലും എനിക്കു ഏതുമില്ല; ദൈവം മനുഷ്യന്റെ മുഖം നോക്കുന്നില്ല; പ്രമാണികള് എനിക്കു ഒന്നും ഗ്രഹിപ്പിച്ചുതന്നിട്ടില്ല.

6. But from those seeming to be something (of what kind they were then does not matter to me; God does not accept the face of man), for those seeming to be important conferred nothing to me;

7. നേരെ മറിച്ചു പരിച്ഛേദനയുടെ അപ്പൊസ്തലത്വത്തിന്നായി പത്രൊസിനോടുകൂടെ വ്യാപരിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു പത്രൊസിന്നു പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം എന്നപോലെ എനിക്കു അഗ്രചര്മ്മക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം

7. but on the contrary, seeing that I have been entrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision, even as Peter to the circumcision,

8. ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കണ്ടും എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപ അറിഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു തൂണുകളായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന യാക്കോബും കേഫാവും യോഹന്നാനും ഞങ്ങള് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിലും അവര് പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലും സുവിശേഷം അറിയിപ്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കും ബര്ന്നബാസിന്നും കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെ വലങ്കൈ തന്നു.

8. (for He working in Peter to an apostleship of the circumcision, also worked in me to the nations),

9. ദരിദ്രരെ ഞങ്ങള് ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്ളേണം എന്നു മാത്രം അവര് പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്വാന് ഞാന് ഉത്സാഹിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. and knowing the grace given to me, James and Cephas and John, those seeming to be pillars, gave right hands of fellowship to Barnabas and to me, that we go to the nations, but they to the circumcision;

10. എന്നാല് കേഫാവു അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയില് വന്നാറെ അവനില് കുറ്റം കാണുകയാല് ഞാന് അഭിമുഖമായി അവനോടു എതിര്ത്തുനിന്നു.

10. only that we might remember the poor, which same thing I was eager to do.

11. യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു ചിലര് വരും മുമ്പെ അവന് ജാതികളോടുകൂടെ തിന്നു പോന്നു; അവര് വന്നപ്പോഴോ അവന് പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാരെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു പിന് വാങ്ങി പിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്നു.

11. But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was to be blamed.

12. ശേഷം യെഹൂദന്മാരും അവനോടു കൂടെ കപടം കാണിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ബര്ന്നബാസും അവരുടെ കപടത്താല് തെറ്റിപ്പോവാന് ഇടവന്നു.

12. For before some came from James, he ate with the nations. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, being afraid of those of the circumcision.

13. അവര് സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ സത്യം അനുസരിച്ചു ചൊവ്വായി നടക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാന് എല്ലാവരും കേള്ക്കെ കേഫാവിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതുയെഹൂദനായ നീ യെഹൂദമര്യാദപ്രകാരമല്ല ജാതികളുടെ മര്യാദപ്രകാരം ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നീ ജാതികളെ യെഹൂദമര്യാദ അനുസരിപ്പാന് നിര്ബന്ധിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു?

13. And also the rest of the Jews dissembled with him, so as even Barnabas was led away with their dissembling.

14. നാം സ്വഭാവത്താല് ജാതികളില്നിന്നുള്ള പാപികളല്ല,

14. But when I saw that they did not walk uprightly with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before all, If you being a Jew, live heathen-like, and not as the Jews, why do you compel the nations to Judaize?

15. യെഹൂദന്മാരത്രെ; എന്നാല് യേശു ക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താലല്ലാതെ ന്യായ പ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാല് മനുഷ്യന് നീതികരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നാമും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാലല്ല ക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ളതു വിശ്വാസത്താല് തന്നേ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്രിസ്തു യേശുവില് വിശ്വസിച്ചു; ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാല് ഒരു ജഡവും നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ലല്ലോ.

15. We, Jews by nature, and not sinners of the nations,

16. എന്നാല് ക്രിസ്തുവില് നീതീകരണം അന്വേഷിക്കയില് നാമും പാപികള് എന്നു വരുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തു പാപത്തിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരന് എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളം അല്ല.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 143:2

16. knowing that a man is not justified by works of Law, but that it is through faith in Jesus Christ (we also believed into Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of Law, because all flesh will not be justified by works of Law). Psa. 123:2

17. ഞാന് പൊളിച്ചതു വീണ്ടും പണിതാല് ഞാന് ലംഘനക്കാരന് എന്നു എന്നെത്തന്നേ തെളിയിക്കുന്നു.

17. But if seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found to be sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? Let it not be!

18. ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്നായി ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് ന്യായപ്രമാണസംബന്ധമായി മരിച്ചു.

18. For what if I build again these things which I destroyed, I confirm myself as a transgressor.

19. ഞാന് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി ജീവിക്കുന്നതു ഞാനല്ല ക്രിസ്തുവത്രേ എന്നില് ജീവിക്കുന്നു; ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് ജഡത്തില് ജീവിക്കുന്നതോ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി തന്നെത്താന് ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ദൈവപുത്രങ്കലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താലത്രേ ജീവിക്കുന്നതു

19. For through Law I died to Law, that I might live to God.

20. ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപ വൃഥാവാക്കുന്നില്ല ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് നീതിവരുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചതു വെറുതെയല്ലോ.

20. I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.
